Remington Aero 2000 Review

My brother got this for me for my birthday this year. Can you believe it's the first ever hair dryer I've ever owned and I'm 27! I've been living g under a rock haha.

This comes with several features. 3 heat functions 2 speeds and a cool shot button. I use the 3rd heat function with it on the full speed function to dry my hair quickly. It takes 10 mins on these functions to dry my hair which is just over shoulder length and quite thick.

This hair dryer also comes with a nozzle which to be honest I'm not 100 % sure what it's used for and has sat in the box since I started using this. I do need to read more into it.

It also has a loop at the end of the handle you hold so you can hang it on a hook and keep it out of the way. Doesn't need to be tucked in a draw or left lying on the bathroom vanity.

I absolutely love this dryer! I'll be sad if it ever breaks luckily it also comes with a 2 year warranty! My brother purchased it for me at briscoes. I'm unsure where else they are avaliable :)

Well I looked at this dryer a heap of times when it was $30 but did I buy it? No. So I bought it this week because my hair is really too long now for the travel sized dryer I’ve had for the past few years. So I bought it from Farmers for (gulp) $50!

Anyhow, it is plain and black and looks like any other dryer. I know this brand and model is great, because I’ve used them many times when I’ve stayed in motels when travelling, so I was happy to buy one for myself.

It comes with a nozzle, which I’ve learned is important for drying hair in a downward motion to stop frizz. It dries my hair quickly and has three heat settings so I don’t have to freeze myself or scald my hair if I don’t want to. It is light, has good grip, and is easy to use. All up a great product.

Actually $50 is a very reasonable price for a good dryer and I’m very happy I bought it, as it does a great job.

I quite liek this hairdryer its a good size not too big and not too small. I managed to pick this up on special at briscoes for $19.99 so great for the price! It does what its supposed to do just liek any other hairdryer ive tried, only sad thing is the lower speed setting doesnt work however this is still under warranty :)

This particular Hair Dryer has been around for quite sometime.. And my one has had quite the impressive life expectancy! I must confess I am generally a 'Air Dry' kinda girl but honestly.. Where would you be without a Hair Dryer..

Although not the most attractive (plenty of pretty ones out there these days!).. This does the trick!

I think mine would honestly be about 11 Years old now. It has been with me through all stages of hair condition and color and has always done what I needed it to do.. Has even helped dry the odd fur baby on the odd occasion.. They are quite infatuated with it rather than scared which is a total bonus!

It has a nice length sturdy cord.. It is barely showing signs of wear! Has various ranges of power which is great because sometimes you don't feel like baking your scalp and blowing your hair like crazy like you are in a topless convertible! Mine is quite loud.. Although I don't think that is totally avoidable when you want to blow dry your hair!

The cool button and click buttons are very practical so when you are using the Hair Dryer you can feel for them and flick them to whatever heat or air strength you want.. The only annoying thing is that they are in a place that is prone to clicking to another level without your permission!

Over all a great Hair Dryer.. I think I have covered it all. Definitely sturdy, made for bad hair day battles and definitely does the trick!

This hair dryer was given to me as a gift over six years ago and it is amazing! It is a DC1800 and is every bit as powerful as the hairdryers used in the salon with three heat setting and two power settings one for really fast and powerful drying and the second a much gentler setting. It also comes with the diffuser which is great but I have noticed over time that the diffuser does not really 'clip' on well and tends to fall off every so often. Would I recommend this - definitely yes. It is one of the most reliable electrical products I have ever used. Seldom nowadays does an electric product without any problems at all. Well done Remington on this one!!

Picked this up for $30 from Briscoes on sale and have had it a couple years now. It has never failed me! I love that it has a hanging hook thing, very practical as I live in a tiny house with not very much storage. Cord is a decent length, not so long that it's annoying but not so short that it's a pain.

I picked this up around 6 years ago from Briscoes when it was on special and it's one of my longest lasting hair dryers. I like the design - the black is so sleek and sophisticated and the entire design reminds me of salon hair dryers. I also like that you are able to choose from many settings and can even use the cool setting, though mine just seems to be a slightly colder version of warm rather than actually being cool.

I do find that the nozzle can fall off a bit, but it's not too big of a deal as it's supposed to be removable anyway and while it's slightly large for a hairdryer -not so good for travel, but it still stores well enough for home use and for the function, I don't have much to complain about. I also like that the cord is relatively long, so you don't have to stand right next to the powerpoint.

I also like that it is very powerful, and the high settings are definitely enough to dry your hair rapidly and efficiently, and you have the versatility of using lower settings for styling.

Overall, love this hair dryer! It's lasted such a long time and is so reliable. Definitely would repurchase.

I received this Dryer a few years back as a Christmas gift and have used for the past 4 years and it still works as good now as it did when I first got it. I have quite long thick hair and I blow dry after every wash, I always use the concentrator and it takes me about 10-15mins to completely dry my hair. Its great that you can choose the heat setting as well as my scalp is very sensitive to heat so I see the coolest setting and still dries just as quick. It works great when round brushing as well which is great because I can get away with just round brushing alone and forgetting the straightener. I recently bought one of these for my Nana and she loves it she has short hair so it gets the job done in a flash. For the price its worth picking up and they often have it on sale at farmers.

I find this hair dryer to be the best ever. I have now had 2 of them and they seem to last and last. The nozzle is fantastic for guiding the air down giving a better style for my hair type. Very basic hair dryer but what more do you need. Love it!!

I have bought this hairdryer around 3-4 years ago used and it’s still going strong. I use this every time I wash my hair because otherwise my hair is a frizzy mess, so around 3 times a week. I can’t fault this hair dryer at all, I love the brand Remington, always buy their hair straighteners too, so it was obvious I buy hair dryer from them as well. I’ll definitely upgrade with a Remington hair dryer in the future, probably with a new model, rather than a used one as I’m not broke anymore, yayy! I’m sure the new models are better, dare I say prettier? But as long as this works I’m happy and I feel like I got my money’s worth 10 times! :)
