L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

Was a bit skeptical about whether this shampoo would do what it said. But my hair was noticeably thicker and shinier than before-my friends even commented on it. My hair feels soft and healthy. And the conditioner smells like watermelons too. My hair smells amazing and just looks so silky. The only problem I found was at the end of the day my hair wasn't as thick as it felt in the morning but that might be because of humidity. Would definitely recommend this conditioner. Combined with the shampoo and your hair will thank you for it!

This stuff is great. I used it with the shampoo and from the first wash I could see the difference in the thickness of my hair and so could my boyfriend. This conditioner has also left my hair so smooth and shiny.

This product definitely works for me. I noticed a significant difference of the thickness of my hair after about 3 washes. It makes my hair thicker from root to tip, while still leaving it soft, silky and tangle free. I like the fact that it is available at the supermarket and that it fits into my everyday hair care routine.

there is not a lot i can say about this product, as i did not find either of them really did what they said it would do, however it works fine as a conditioner, it does leave your hair feeling soft and no knots, so it does do the job, but no better than any other conditioner i have tried.,bit disappointed with both these products,really expected better results, but overall still a good product,just not what i am looking for.

Nice and easy to hold and dispense. It has a nice consistency that holds until you apply it. It has a nice scent that is not overpowering. Hair feels soft and silky afterwards and after several washes could really see my hair was not as weighed down and my collegues commented on how they thought my hair was looking great. They have both purchased the set and are also loving it! While it does look great initially, it's a little flat the next day, but perhaps that's just my hair in general. I am trying to break the habbit of washing everyday! All in all, I'm really happy, and even with coloured hair and bright foils, this product has not stripped it away and I have been using it for around three weeks. The shampoo lathers up very well and you don;t need to use a lot, making it value for money.

I used to use the Loreal Elvive Volume shampoo and conditioner in the purple bottle (mainly because it was always on sale at KMART!) So I was keen to give this conditioner from the same line of hair products a go. I like my conditioners to make my hair feel very soft and untangled, but was excited that this conditioner told me it would not only do that, but make my hair thicker too! Whilst this product definitely delivered on my first two points of providing softness and untangling my long locks, I honestly have not seen too much of a difference in the thickness of my hair. Perhaps I need to use the whole bottle up to see a difference, but I have maybe a little over a quarter left and have not noticed much change. I do love the colours in the packaging though, and find it easy to use in the shower which I do like, I am a fan of the simple things. So in the end, it may not have thickened my hair per say but it is still a nice softening conditioner and I would consider using it again.

I've only used this product together with its shampoo, so my experience is sort of joint for the two of them together. My hair definitely became thicker and had more weight, though when I try to break it it doesn't actually seem to be any stronger lol I wonder how that works? The conditioner doesn't really make my hair feel smoother or shinier though, which is not a big deal for me because I don't like shiny hair that goes oily quickly anyway. Personally, I think it's good to use products from the same series together, but in terms of effect, the shampoo probably does more than the conditioner. In saying that, I usually use hair masks / deep conditioner instead of conditioner so perhaps my opinion on the effectiveness of a normal conditioner is skewed. The conditioner has a nice faint smell and is milky in color, and it's a little runny but sort of between a runny liquid and a gel consistency which I'm quite impartial to.

As I've said for the shampoo, the bottle is nicely shaped and the flip top cap is study. I also appreciate that it is oriented so the cap faces down in the shower. This means the thick conditioning formula is easier to dispense and you don't have to shake it to get it out!

In terms of the conditioner itself it is extremely thick (definitely the thickest conditioner I've ever used!) and because of this I was a little weary of product buildup in my hair. However, this proved not to be a problem. When using the conditioner I focussed mostly on covering the ends of my hair shaft which tend to be finer and more prone to damage. I then left the conditioner in for a minute and rinsed as usual.

After using this conditioner in conjunction with the ELVIVE shampoo I can say that it left my hair feeling slightly more volumised than usual but can't say that I noticed a difference in the thickness of my hair.

My hair is really quite fine and falls flat on my face without any volume so I was super excited when I heard this range was coming out. This conditioner does claim to make my hair thicker after each use but it did not really deliver on that claim. I wash my hair everyday due to the fact that it is super thin and goes greasy super quick! I have not noticed any changes to the thickness of my hair at all. The conditioner has a nice scent which is not overpowering but it does not actually do what a conditioner should do. It does not make my hair soft, shiny or detangle it. It actually made my hair quite unmanageable. Not something I would repurchase from this range :(

Given my complete love of the Fibralogy Shampoo, this conditioner had a lot to live up to. Sadly I wasn't as impressed. It's good, but nothing better than any other conditioner and at $8.99 I'm not sure I would seek it out. I found that, unless I used a lot of the conditioner, my ends were left very dry. Over the last couple of days I have used the Fibralogy Shampoo with my preferred conditioner to better effect/result. I will continue to use the Fibralogy Shampoo but will use it with another brand conditioner.
