L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Dream Lengths Regime

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial the new Dream Lengths hair regime from L’Oreal. The regime consists of the Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner, and the No Haircut Cream. My hair is dry and fine. It is drier than it should be because I have damaged it by lightening it. This past year I have been growing my hair, so it is now down past my shoulders. I was excited to be sent this for trial.

The three hair products come in cheerful peach-coloured bottles with bright pink tops. The shampoo and conditioner are both 325ml, and the No Haircut Cream is 200ml. They all have a delicious peachy scent. All three are designed to treat “long, damaged hair.” The formulas of the shampoo and conditioner are enriched with “vegetal keratin, vitamins, and castor oil.”

All three products are creamy, moisturising, rich, but not too heavy. This is especially important for the No Haircut Cream, which acts as a leave-in conditioner. It did not weigh down my fine hair, and left it soft and conditioned. It also acts as a protectant for your hair against heat appliances. It can be applied to wet or to dry hair.

Altogether I loved the scent of these products, and I found them very easy to use. The bottle sizes of the shampoo and conditioner are both generous, and I am a sucker for a leave-in conditioner. Although I didn’t find anything particularly remarkable or different about this regime, I enjoyed using the products, and I will continue to use them after the trial is over.

I thought each of these products alone were amazing but put the three together and you have a dream team trip to provide your hair with everything it needs to looks shiny, happy and healthy while preventing split ends and damage to hair.

My hair is lightened and curly and I find it hard to find non salon branded haircare that leaves my hair feeling soft and healthy without frizz but this range ticks that box!

A definite add to the shopping list combination for me!

Gosh...to quote Jennifer Aniston. I've just fallen in love. With a shampoo.

I fell in love as soon as I saw it. The packaging is so 80s Miami Vice, its just retro perfection! Orange and Pink, with white 'beachy' writing. What's not to love?!!

I then gave it a sniff, and yeap, fell in love some more. I don't know what the smell is, I checked the ingredients but couldnt find anything that stood out. I guess it's a bit floral? But not overly so. It makes me want to sniff my own head through the day.

The shampoo is quite thick and lathers a lot. I tried a double shampoo once, but the foam was insane and I thought I'd never leave the shower, so I'll stick to a single wash and rinse from now on.

The conditioner is rich and thick - but light! It doesn't weigh down my hair at all - and for someone who's hair has a tendency to look a bit drab and heavy, that's a miracle in itself!

The shine from the shampoo and conditioner is unbelievable. I half expect magpies to come a-pecking, its like a mirror.

The no-haircut cream, isn't a cream, more a thick serum, but it's good to use! I do believe it smooths out and sealed my split ends - my hair looks like its just been cut, instead of looking a bit ratty.

You know, I would recommend this to anyone with hair - but if you are trying to avoid cutting, give it a go, I don't think you're going to be disappointed!

If my title with its three exclamations and capitalisation didn't tip you off - this range is something to check out!

Firstly, the packaging. It's so cute. Does it skew a little young? Probably, but not in an off-putting way. More in a 'I feel younger using this'. It's fun, its peach and pink.

These smell incredible. Light, tropical, sweet. It's just the lovliest scent.

The bottles are HUGE. You won't run out in a hurry. And for probably the first time ever - you use the same amount of shampoo and conditioner!

After using this regime for a week, I've noticed a marked difference in my long hair. The ends look smoother, and incredibly it has sealed the ends. After washing and conditioning my hair is left easy to style, smooth and gosh, so shiny.

Will be using, repurchasing and raving about this for a while to come!

I have received numerous compliments about my hair in the last week i've been using this range.

It makes my hair feel soft, it styles beautifully and just looks so shiny.

I can't stop looking at myself!

The range comes in 2 huge bottles for the shampoo & conditioner and a generous styling cream.

Use all 3 together and your hair just feels amazing. I normally only wash my hair twice a week but I confess to currently washing it every second day.

This is equally as good if not better than any Salon product I have used before.

Ive really liked this regime its a nice summery feel and i think that comes from the colours and the scent they use. I particularly like the conditioner it is just the right amount of moisture and really makes your hair feel looked after. I can only imagine the longer i use it the better my hair will feel. I think the shampoo and the conditioner work really well together i am still a little bit undecided on the hair cream but i will keep using it to see if i change my mind. I have high hopes for this range. I havent used it long enough to notice decreased need for haircuts however in the short time I have trailled it for my hair feels amazing. I have thick frizzy damaged hair and after using this my hair feels soft and much less frizzy. I am thinking over time this will control my hair even more and I will have the silky shiny long hair I dream of.

The range comes in good size bottles, this is a must with long hair as you need more product just to cover it. I did use too much the first time with this as a little goes a long way so I expect the bottles will last a decent amount of time.

The scent is fruity, I am unsure exactly what fruit as I couldn't pick it but it is nice and doesn't leave a strong smell once rinsed. There are sulfates in the range, I was following a no sulfate regime but this range has made my hair feel so amazing I am willing to carry on

Overall, I really recommend this regime. For me, it ticked all the boxes - formula, scent, texture and noticeable difference. It felt so lush to use and the smell - it's so good! I felt a difference after drying as my hair felt so super soft and I couldn't stop touching it! I'm really looking forward to continuing to use these products and to see a difference in my hair growth and texture.

I had the privilege of trialing this new product and I was definitely a happy chappy to open the box and see a L’Oreal Paris range designed to strengthen my hair, prevent split ends and achieve longer locks! Just wait I need!

I love the design for this range, from the name and it’s purpose, through to the ease of use, colour and shape of the bottles.

With the included ingredients, keratin, castor oil and vitamins I wouldn’t deny that it does a great job to strengthen and help my help grow longer. It’s a great mix! The products each made my hair feel hydrated and nourished after use and I had no issues with my hair feeling dry or lifeless after use.

I’m really looking forward to continuing using this range and seeing the results!

Definitely my new favourite from elvive. I have been a fan of the white and red set that I can easily get at the supermarket. It’s size and value appeal to me along with the effectiveness so I am loving this new set that has come into my life and trumped them so it must be good.

I’ve never been too loyal to one brand I like to mix and match my shampoo and conditioner as I feel my hair gets bored or build up or I just can’t smell my hair anymore.. but I always do come back to elvive it’s like my favourite brand for hair care.

I love the shampoo it is the perfect start to the set. Does what it says it will do and cleanses - preparing your hair for the conditioner to come.

In terms of performance and effectiveness the conditioner and cream are really what take you to the long lengths so they are the absolute must haves. It’s still worth having the shampoo it’s really nice to use but the feeling you get when you use the conditioner is instant smoothness.

It also does what it says it will do and detangles. The conditioner acts quickly to smooth and detangle your hair so I can see how it makes you feel like you don’t need a cut anytime soon. Especially when the hair is dry - myself and my 4.5year old had soft smooth hair and we both hadn’t had cuts in a looooong time.

The cream.. is the cream of the crop. It’s the bees knees that’s for sure! Wet or dry it made my hair soooo shiny it was unreal. So it’s a slightly runnier formula than the shampoo and conditioner but you don’t need much and you leave it in. It’s also great value for money in that it’s a smoother and they also recommend it for use as a heat protectant which is such an amazing advantage.. 2 products in 1.

My hair is loving this. My hairdresser when I went for a trim wasn’t harsh on me with comments and she managed to easily handle my hair. I am due to have a baby and so it will be yet again a long time between cuts so I am so looking forward to having this set on my side.
