Pretty simple shampoo, does the job and pretty decent for its RRP in the market. I already have pretty straight asian hair - this seem to leave my hair less frizzy which is good. Recommend for someone who needs a simple shampoo.

I spotted this on sale a few days ago, after using successfully once before, I was happy as it was on special. This time, I found the shampoo was very thin and half ended up on the bottom of the shower instead of my hair, it was easy to lather into bubbles, but seemed to take longer to wash out, my hair felt stringy after using. Also had more hair breakage. over all disappointed as use to be a great product
Tips: use with straight perfection conditioner
Normally I have quite fine straigt hair so I did not really notice much difference. However it is still a great shampoo nevertheless. I'm not sure If it works well with frizzy hair but being only 4 dollars it's worth shot. It is a little bit more expensive than normal shampoos so I probably would not purchase again because it didn't really do much for me.
Nice fruity-ish scent, lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling clean without feeling dry. My hair is fairly straight (with a slight wave) and wasn't expecting much in term of straightening but I did feel it was looking more straighter and even after using this.
The shampoo comes in an attractive purple container that's easy to use in the shower. It has the typical shampoo smell but I find the scent pleasant and I like that the smell lingers in my hair after washing. The shampoo has quite a runny consistency which can be problematic as I often end up squirting out too much so I use bottles of this up far too quickly. I would say this shampoo is my holy grail shampoo. It significantly reduces the amount of frizz on top of my head, and makes my curly wild hair a lot straighter. It also makes my hair smoother and I find that when I use this shampoo, hair straightening is a lot easier. This shampoo is also incredibly cheap and I often repurchase this as my hair ends up looking pretty good for the low price of the product. The only negatives about this shampoo is that the bottles are only 200mls so they do not last long, and the shampoo is quite drying on my roots.
This has been my stable go to, use every few days no matter what shampoo for the last three years or so! Needless to say I love it or I wouldn't have bothered to continue using it. I do at times use more expensive salon based shampoo/conditioner but tend to break this up with using Sunsilk in between so the more expensive stuff lasts longer. I have fine hair which is straight but with a slight wave so this product is suited perfectly for my hair. I do also colour my hair at the hairdressers regularly so often I will also use the Sunsilk range for coloured hair which is equally as good.
Because my hair is very fine I often have lots of fly-aways and a little bit of frizz going on however I find with using this shampoo (and I always follow up with conditioner too) it definately helps and I have less fly-aways n frizz. I like the smell of this range, as its not to strong or overpowering meaning my husband is happy to use it too which we find is great ~ less products cluttering up the shower and less to buy during the supermarket shopping. Which brings me to another great thing I like about this product is that it seems to always be on sale when I go to buy it - anything cheaper than normal has got to be good!
The consistency of this shampoo is good - it isnt too runny or too thick and it lathers nicely - you don't need heaps of the product to cover all your hair. The conditioner is the same but a thicker consistency. I have no bad points/things to mention about this product so definately recommend to all - I know I will be continuing to use it for the next however many years!
The thing that attracted me to this product was the name "Straight Perfection". I have naturally curly hair which is a night mare for me as I prefer my hair to be straight and I thought that shampoo "that leaves your hair straight" would be too good to be true.
I have always liked the brand Sunsilk, Its a brand that I know and trust. This purple bottle caught my eye at the supermarket. Its easy to squeeze and get into. It has a slightly sweet yet floral smell to the shampoo compared to the rest of the shampoos by Sunsilk. One thing that I was a tad confused about was that the shampoo was quite runny compared to others. I'm not sure if that was just the batch I got or if the rest of these are like that too.
After the first use of this shampoo followed by the matching conditioner, my hair was 40% straighter when it dried and less frizz which is awesome.
I do recommend giving this a go. Anything to get straight hair with out using heat is well worth it.I like how its so affordable too. I love Sunsilk and the fantastic quality of these.
Tips: Grab it when its on special at the supermarket.
Isn't it funny how some products just seem to fall straight into your supermarket trolley as you are walking along! These days when I am after a new Shampoo and Conditioner BR is the first place that I look. As a bit of background I have quite straight hair that I have highlights in blonde so it can be quite dry at times.
The packaging of these is quite nice. I absolutely love purple so this was an easy pick for me. The bottle curves in in the middle so makes it nice and easy to hold when you are in the shower. The shampoo has the lid at the top. Usually this isn't a problem as shampoo is usually quite thin but this one seems quite thick. It isn't a problem right now when I can squeeze it out but I can see it being a problem when I am getting down to the last of it as the lid is angled so I will have a fun time trying to rest it upside down.
The scent of this product is very florally/fruity. Smells incredibly fake and cheap. It does the job though and seems to make my hair squeaky clean. I haven't found this product to help keep my hair more straight at all, in fact I would even go as far to say I have noticed more fly-away hairs recently. For that reason (and I'm not in love with the scent) I will continue to try something new next time.
