Sunsilk Longer and Stronger Shampoo and Conditioner

Not being one to go to a salon to cut my hair let alone buy their ridiculously expensive products, I tend to be that annoying person standing in the hair care section at the supermarket for 20 minutes +.

Reading over all the labels of them promising to do this & do that... I saw the dark, non-obnoxious bottles of Sunsilk's Longer & Strong Shampoo & Conditioner.

My hair is dry, damaged, oily, coloured, frizzy, and curly... no shampoo and conditioner seem to be able to handle that all at once.

None but this!

The shampoo gets rid of oily-ness in my roots and keeps it smelling fresh. The conditioner (which I apply, comb through and leave for about 5 minutes) makes my hair feel so soft, silky and healthy when I wash it out, and also when it dries.

I've noticed I have less breakage when I'm straightening my hair which is always a plus when you're trying to grow your hair but still torturing it everyday.

And it was pretty cheap at $4.00 a bottle for 200ml which lasts me almost a month.

I would definitely recommend this shampoo & conditioner to my friends and family, not only if they are wanting to grow out their hair, but also if they want to smell fab!

Sadly, for me this product was just simply a shampoo and conditioner - like any other I have used in the past. I didn't find it made my hair any longer or any stronger. My hair still broke like crazy and really haven't noticed any growth in my hair. My hair wasn't any shinier or smoother and overall I really saw no difference in my hair.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't necessarily a bad thing - my hair wasn't any worse off. There were some good points with this product: its a nice consistency, smells pretty good (in the bottle, doesn't seem to last too long on your hair) and makes your hair feel nice and clean. So with the bad come the good.

Can't say I would necessarily by this again, simply because there are many other shampoos that have had similar results on my hair. A bit disappointing this didn't live up to its claims for me and my hair type (if a shampoo managed to grow my hair that would be super awesome).

I love the bottles, but that's about where it stops. This is just a shampoo and conditioner, with some convincing labels on it. My hair didn't get any stronger, and it didn't get any longer. I gave this a good go, I used it for a few months, but no change in my hair.

I have quite damaged hair (thanks to a hair bleaching experience at the hairdresser gone wrong!) and an oily scalp, so I bought this liking the idea of a shampoo and conditioner that would help make my hair stronger. I found that products smell really nice, and the shampoo lathers well. After using and conditioning only on my lengths and ends of my hair, I found that it made my hair feel light and clean without irritating my scalp. My hair looked very sleek and shiny and overall more healthy. Due to the damaged condition of my hair, and the fact that it naturally grows very fast anyway, I can't really say whether it made my hair any stronger but I would definitely say this is worth trying and would repurchase.

I purchased this about a month ago, and it works!!, being a busy mum my hair is always tied up, I also sweat like crazy but only from my head and my scalp gets crazy itchy, after using this for the first time i noticed immediately how soft my hair was, I stopped sweating, I could run my fingers through my hair for the first time in a long time, and on the odd occasion I do go out, styling is way easier as my hair holds a lot stronger without the need for as much styling products.

When used every day, this product did as stated and made my hair feel longer and stronger. Smelt nice which is always good. My hair was a little harder to brush/more knotty sometimes if not washed very thoroughly, but made my hair softer when i had a longer shower. Had no downsides in my opinion, i would definitely buy this product again!

on both long straight hair and long curly hair. I brought this as my daughter and I both have long hair that was looking a little worse for wear. This has a lovely sweet smell. very easy to apply, even with a thinner formula. as claims it does reduce breakage over time. I helps keep the tangles and knots out of my girls long hair making bath time easier. She said she feels like a princess with beautiful hair after using it. I love the slick black with touch of purple 200ml bottles. Also the great price and always available at the supermarket. My go to sunsilk shampoo and conditioner

It seems to almost be a normal occurrence to see me in the aisle of the supermarket on my phone checking out BR before purchasing a Shampoo and Conditioner these days. This time Sunsilk was on special again so I picked up this pair. I've been growing my hair for a while now so thought why not.

The packaging is fine, practical but not amazing. They are opaque plastic bottles, these ones in black. It does annoy me that the shampoo bottle has a slanted top. It is fine for when you have plenty of product but when you are running out it is hard to find a spot to keep it upside down. Also why do they have to be opaque? You never know how much you have left. Maybe it is a conspiracy to make you throw them out before you have actually finished all the product.

Both of these have a slight scent, nothing too strong or offensive. Almost sweet. The shampoo makes my hair feel clean, but not too clean. The conditioner is actually quite nice too and leaves my hair feeling suitable moisturised and tangle free.

I think these are actually my favourite of the Sunsilk range that I have tried so far. Despite that I don't think I will be repurchasing as they didn't do anything particularly special for my hair so I will continue my search for the holy grail Shampoo and Conditioner.

this stuff smells amazing, love it! makes my hair rather soft and easier to manage, even though ive only got shoulder length hair i still use it. im not usually a big fan of sunsilk, but i buy this purely on the smell!

I loved the smell of this, thought it smelled like lollies lol .. Made mine and my girls hair soft and smooth, my hair did feel rather weighed down after a week of using thou. The longer & stronger selling point is a little far fetched I feel.. But it does smell amazing so was worth a try.
