Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush - Purse Size Review

We only received this brush yesterday but it’s demonstrated results super fast as it’s all dependant on brushing alone so no waiting to see results.

Mita are into an affordable winner with this. It’s not often the harshest critic my 4year old is happy after her daily assault with a brush. She refuses a haircut so has never had a trim so has beautiful long hair.. which also leads her to have dry ends that tangle easily. I on the other hand usually mum bun my hair majority of the time and it’s usually a while in between cuts so I am also prone to knots. Also since having kids fallout is next level, so a good brush to make sure I’m not leaving little hairy presents in everyone’s dinner is a must.

This brush is comfortable to use. It feels amazing against the scalp and is the perfect size for me and my mini me to use. It’s definitely not heavy so no sore arms and no hair flipping necessary to make sure you get the brush through.

The bristles are firm but not damaging or painful - they are gentle enough to cut through the hair detangling as it goes. The bristles move through the hair and move with it but not in a snapping/bending way. You do get the snag on a true knot but it can easily be dealt with and it doesn’t cause that snagging that yanks your whole head back. Our old “detangling brush” I now see was more effort than it was worth.

They are slightly longer bristles compared to our old brush but they are still comfortable, flexible and gentle to use. The handle itself seems to have a no slip grip feel which is also handy especially when used in the shower. With a hole on the handle end to hook or add a loop to hang means it doesn’t take up my soap tray in the shower yay!!

It seems well built - our old brush head would come apart when it hit a snag despite being marketed as a “detangler”. This is one piece with individual bristles set into the head.. so easy to clean, perfect for shower use and sturdy. Will drain and dry well in between uses.

I see what they mean about the flexibility - it’s hard to tell when using but the swirls on the head flex and move with brushing actions.. if you give the little swirls a push you see how it can adjust when brushing - if that makes sense. So definitely some movement to give while brushing over knots gently, rather than snagging and tearing. Perfect for wet hair or reducing toddler tantrums.

Fits easily into my handbag and nappy bag but would avoid adding to a clutch or small bag.. it is very light though so easy to take along.

Definitely crushing for this brush - sleek look, price and ease of use are huge benefits. I can’t get over how affordable this is.

This was probably the easiest product I’ve been lucky enough to review - I mean, you know straight away if a hairbrush works and if you like it right?!

This little beauty arrived today and I’ve been putting it through its paces. It’s toted as a 3D brush that moves with your scalp - I can sort of see how that works, but it’s less flexible than I had imagined. There is no cushion in the brush, so perfect for wet use as well. Because of the design it’s really easy to clean, and the bristles are the perfect balance between gentle and strong.

I have quite long thick hair, and it’s been coloured loads of times so the ends are quite dry and prone to tangles. This glided through my hair really easily, removing the tangles but not pulling on the ends. My 15yo has bum-length hair and is really fussy with brushing it - she loved it.

The biggest test though, was the 5yo - she has quite long, but very fine hair that inevitably ends up in a mess. I’m not sure how she does it, but no matter what condition I leave her hair in, 5 minutes later it’s tangled!! We first dry brushed her hair when she got home from school, this is normally something that ends in tears (hers and mine). This went through her hair beautifully, no snags, no pulling and no tears!! We’ve also tried it in the bath to brush conditioner through and it’s absolutely devine - not harsh on the scalp and rinses off easily.

The size is perfect for my handbag, although the 5yo has already claimed it as hers, so I suspect I’ll have to buy my own.

My first impression of the brush was how cute it looked ,nice simple but effective packaging telling me all I need to know about the product .

I would find myself drawn to this product in the shops,as it’s quite unique and stylish in design .

I love the curving flexible part of the brush . Results : Did it deliver as promised to detangle .

Absolutely yes 100 per cent ,I was most impressed . I do have fine hair ,but quite a lot all the same ,curly and often wake up with knots in my hair . The brush felt lovely on my scalp almost massaging and glided through my knots with ease and no ouch moments which I normally experience .

Tangles were sorted quickly and effectively ,it seemed to straighten my hair a little but my curls soon bounced back , worked well on either wet or dry hair and I think most hair types would benefit from using it . would I buy it and recommend it ,yes I would .

The purse size is great ,however would have loved to seen a fold up design ,I have a comb like that and it’s fits in to most sizes of my handbags ,this would have been a good feature for this brush . It is easy to take the hair out of the brush and wash too ,always a plus .

It is well priced at $9.99 so affordable for most people . There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it and I will continue to use it on a daily basis from now on .,all in all a glowing review from me with a 9/10 scoring .
