I had run out of shampoo and found a set of this shampoo and conditioner in the shower so decided to try it. I figured it would be one of the guys' due to the smell and therefore hopefully they wouldn't mind a little bit missing from the bottle. The smell was really strong but it got my hair clean. I wasn't doing any hair treatments at the time so I only washed my hair when it got oily and this definitely did the trick. I don't know if it would help dandruff because I only used a couple times since I didn't want to use up my flatmates shampoo and conditioner. But it would probably be suited to people with oily scalps and those who suffer from pimples there due to the decent concentration of tea tree oil.

Great one to use on the kids and teens, we had a nit invasion at our house and used this following nit treatment to keep them at bay, also good for balancing oily teen hair, just need to train teens not to use the entire bottle in a week, only need small amount goes far.
I started using this on my children as it is meant to repel nits, I have to stay my kids did get nits but nearly as often as some of the other children in their class, smells great and made their hair squeaky clean
I really love this shampoo mostly because I absolutely love the smell! It smells very strongly of tea tree oil, but I find it to be so relaxing and therapeutic like aromatherapy.
It works up a decent lather, makes my blonde hair squeaky clean, and is a very reasonable price. I'm not such a fan of the conditioner, but this shampoo is a winner in my books.
My hair really didn't like this, but my make up brushes LOVE it. Cuts through all of the product really easily, leaves brushes clean, soft & smelling lovely. Anti-bactierial properties are the main reason why it occurred to me to use it for brush cleaning.
Should add why I didn't like it for my hair - difficult to wash out and made my hair super knotty.
Tips: Put on a plate with a drop of oil (I use argan or Jojoba), and swirl brush in it.
Really let down by Thursday plantation, it smelt far too strong and my hair felt really stripped and dry after using it! Even with using the Thursday plantation conditioner after the shampoo it was still really dry and hard to get a brush/comb through! And quite frankly my hair just ended up looking limp and greasy which is not the look i'm going for!! Will not buy again.
Tips: Save your money and buy a different brand shampoo, if you suffer from psoriasis or dandruff I highly recommend the Holistic hair range over Thursday plantation any day!!
I brought the shampoo and conditioner together and both didn't meet my expectation. I do have long thick hair so I had to use quite a bit to cover my head. The smell of it is kind of strong- love the tea tree smell. For a small bottle and the price- not very value for money. It did last me a month and I wash my hair 2-3 a week. Would not purchase again only because it didn't do what it promise to do. Disappointed as I love the Thursday Plantation products.
I just purchased a bottle of this in my recent shop as it was on sale. It is very strong smelling but I was expecting that and the smell didn't linger after rinsing thankfully. I have waist length hair so always have to use quite a lot but found this actually went a long way. My hair gets very oily at the roots but very dry in the length and ends. I find most shampoos really frizz my locks up and this wasn't an exception. Putting that aside, my hair was left clean feeling and I had zero scalp irritation which is unusual for me. I found it a decent all round shampoo. I don't think i'd RAVE about it but it's certainly better than a lot of supermarket products I've tried.
Tips: If you have eczema give this one a go, the tea tree is very soothing and left my scalp calm which was nice for a change!
I brought this shampoo after searching online what would be a good product for a dry, sensitive scalp. The recommendation seemed to be pointing towards tea tree shampoo.
So, off I went in the search for tea tree shampoo, and I came across this in the pharmacy, it wasn't too pricey so thought it was definitely worth a go.
The packaging is in a white decent sized bottle, with a simple design to suit the Thursday Plantation range. I was looking forward to trying something more natural on my hair, to see if it would ease my dry, flakey scalp.
The smell of this shampoo is rather overpowering, and I'm really not a fan of the tea tree smell. But if it was going to be effective I'd put up with the smell!
My hair is blonde and very long, it can also be rather dry and frizzy in some places. This shampoo unfortunately was really drying for my hair and it felt quite tangly after using this. The conditioner from the range was also not hydrating at all.
I found the shampoo did nothing to help my dry, flakey scalp as well. Overall, I was rather disappointed and would not repurchase this again.
Other shampoos and conditioners tend to strip my hair completely of it's natural oils, and replace it with crap synthetic moisturisers, leaving my scalp itchy and dry.... and then flaky and irrittated.
I like this product. It leaves my hair super soft and feeling great (Shampoo followed with the Thursday Plantation Conditioner). It's a nice alternative to the tar smelling anti dandruff products out there and much more gentle on the scalp and hair.
The smell is very strong of tea tree oil when your hair is wet, but you soon become accustomed to it. When your hair is dry the smell is not so noticeable............. and at any rate it is WAY better than smelling like a tarpit.
I would definately use it again, all though my supermarket is a bit hit and miss with their products and only seem to stock the shampoo at the moment.
