My hair is coarse, frizzy, curly, unmanageable and just a pain in the behind. So of course that means tonnes of heat styling (blow dry and flat iron) to get it straight and silky smooth. My hair in it natural form is just me looking like an untamed lion and that is not pretty nor classy...
I do my normal shampoo and conditioning routine and then towel dry my hair. I leave the towel on my hair until almost all of the wetness has been removed, as I find it easier to blow my hair when its semi dry. I section off my hair when blow drying and then add the heat tamer spray to every section. I'm very generous with this spray as my hair needs all the love it can get.
Whilst blow drying my hair just glides through the brush and once my hair is dry it has a beautiful healthy shine. I use a large barrel blow dry to help the blowdry process be quicker and therefore save on the heat to my hair.
After blow drying, I flat iron my hair and then the magic happens. Silky smooth and straight hair left behind! I can definitely see the improvement in my hair since using heat tamer because the split end are not as severe as they use to be with out using it.
Shiny hair and reduced split end? This is a winner and its not even at salon prices.
I have the red bottle one of this which has the keratin in it. List of ingrediants is pretty much the same and they both do the same thing. Im in love with mine. It makes my hair so soft after straigthening and keeps it so soft all day and find it alot easier to tie up to keep kinks away. It has tamed the frizziness but not by a hell of a lot i still have some but hey most of us do. Its smell is quite nice in my view and the bottle is very easy to use and has lasted me a while. I defs will repurchase. I never straighten my hair without this stuff in first now. The price is also quite good i think it costed me around 10-14 from countdown can't remember the exact price but defs worth it.
Tips: Spray about 30-60cm away from head (arms length) you dont want to soak your hair before straightening it. Use about 6sprays depending on hair thickness and length. I have long hair. And spray all over and then comb through to spread it out evenally throughout hair. Then straighten as usual and youll see the difference yourself, so smooth.
