I cant say that this product wowed me like I thought it would. I haven't noticed a big difference to my split ends and my hair is actually feeling a lot more dry than when I started out. Maybe I need to use it for more than just a few washes to work out whether or not my hair appears to have less split ends. I also noticed I had a lot of fly aways which I dont usually get from my usual shampoo. Loved the smell of the product. Was fun to try something new :-)

Reviews
I have mixed feelings about this product. I love it when i come out of the shower but then it makes my hair really dry. It didn't do much for my split ends an just made my hair feel really dry and frizzy even more than it already was as i have curly hair.
I have used the shampoo & conditioner 3 times and I'm not very impressed with the results. After every wash my hair felt & looked quite oily and weighed down. I will keep using it to see if there is any improvement to my hair. My hubby likes it though. On the plus side the products smell nice & are in nice big bottles, but this isn't enough to make me recommend it to my friends.
- Packaging:
What a huge bottle of shampoo and conditioner, great price considering tresemme call their products "salon quality". I may be just lazy in the shower, but it would be quite useful for these bottles to have a pump so you could sit them at the bottom of the shower and just bend down and push a pump; the bottles are quite large they are quite heavy/awkward and im guessing most people would not put these in their shower racks/shelves....?
- Smell/Consistency:
Overall the shampoo and conditioner smells great, and the consistency of the product is lovely, not to runny, not to thick. The product lathered up nicely in my hair.
- Using the product:
I found that once i rinsed the shampoo out of my hair, my hair felt stripped and alot more drier than other brands of shampoo i have used. However, once i had put the conditioner in and left it in their for a long time once i rinsed it out my hair felt lovely and soft.
- Improvements in my hair?:
I didnt however notice much of an improvement in my split split ends, however maybe my hair is beyond saving.....
My hair once dried fully was also more noticeably frizzy, and had a rough feel to it which is a minus for me. Im always tring to get my hair perfectly straight/frizz free (hence why i use my hair straightners constantly). It really is a viscious cycle :(
Overall i am unlikely to repurchase
Tips: Maybe i might notice improvements after using this product awhile longer. I have only tested it 3 times as per its statements that this is all u need to see 80% reduction. I will use up the bottles to see :)
Usually when you leave the salon your hair is silky smooth with this shampoo and conditioner it made my hair dry as a broom stick(ok maybe a bit of an exaggeration). Personally I haven't noticed any difference in my plit ends maybe after a few more washes. I must admit though that I love the smell.
I found that my hair was oily using this, and it didn't really fjx my split ends, and it made my hair really frizzy, i have curly hair and sop i straighten it usually but it just made it really frizzy.
I got these for free from the beauty vault and have been using them for quite some time now as they are very large sizes so you get alot of product for your money but the formula itself is nothing incredible - the conditioner feels quite thin when applied but does sink in and leaves the hair feeling nice, the shampoo I find spreads through the hair quickly and is quick to rinse out but is actually quite drying - I actually prefer the original lines over these products as I prefer the formula and the scents (especially the colour protection line). I will use these up but I won't repurchase.
I found after using it 4 times, it didn't reduced the look of my split ends and it also left my hair dry and "bushy looking". It did have a nice smell to it though. I was disappointed as I was expecting my hair to be looking smooth and healthier otherwards, but quite the opposite.
Three of us tried this product so here goes...
Me - Big Momma...My hair is short and cut in a bob and used to being blow dried and straightened as the case may be.... I found this product felt quite heavy on my hair. It felt as if it had been coated with something but was heavier and harder to style. On the fourth wash I found I was starting to get an itchy scalp.
Miss 14 - Kennedy - found it was great on her slightly curly long hair which gets its share of the straighteners. Her hair is shiny and is naturally thick - she loved it as dos miss 16 - Tegan or Ttiggi as we call her - she has long straight and thick hair subjected to daily blow wave and straightners like you wouldn't believe !!! in order to get that natural look...hmmm she loved it - it did coat the split ends and her hair is shiny and lovely so there we go
the girls love it so we will use it for them but for me it just did not seem to give it that bounce and glow and was more heavy and made my hair feel limp and harder to style
Tips: use a little - great sized bottles that will last a while !!!
Similar ingredients to Matrix's Break Fix, the Tresemme Split End Remedy Series uses Amodimethicone (a silicone) to fill in gaps in the hair and to smooth down any split ends. However i prefer non-silicone based hair products. The product is very nice to use, the shampoo is very foamy and doesnt require a lot of product to wash your hair. The conditioner is silky and makes your hair feel really smooth, once dried though my hair felt like it always does after any shampoo and conditioner. Theres no particular fragrance, just a normal shampoo and conditioner smell. It didnt do what it said it would do by reducing split ends up to 80% after 3 uses... but id be incredibly surprised if any product could. All in all, i would use this product again if i didnt have a non silicone based product at home.
Tips: You dont need to use too much :)
