I colour my hair every 4 weeks and straighten my hair every day - every second day so as you can imagain my hair is split. So I thought I'd give this product a try, can't say I was a fan. It didn't improve my ends at all and the day after useing it my hair was feeling very dry and not very nice. I didn't even end up finishing the bottle because of how my hair was left feeling.

I am often on the look out for something that could possibly remedy my split ends. That is when TRESemme Split Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner 'found their way' in to my trolley at the supermarket.

I have always like the big bottles that TRESemme have. It means that they will last a while which makes them value for money. Although due to the size of them they don't fit in my shower shelves and have to sit on the ground. The designs of the bottles are quite bulky and hard to keep a hand on when your hands are wet and soapy. I have more than once dropped these and broken the caps.

The formula is quite thick and creamy which I love. I love a heavy looking and feeling shampoo and conditioner. It means I have to use less than I would if it were thin and watery. The smell is divine and reminds me of salon smelling products, which is fitting considering they are salon quality.

I make sure I rub the shampoo in to my hair for a deep clean. I sometimes repeat the wash after I rinse to ensure a cleaner result. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling a tad dry so in with the conditioner which remedies this immediately. My hair feels soft and silky. My hair feels like it has a new coat over the top. My split ends appear better than when I started.

The reason why I three starred these products is because if I use it for prolonged periods of time my hair becomes oily and limp. My hair started falling out more than it ever had before. My hair started to lose its shine and healthy glow instead I was left with drab hair that felt horrible. It's almost like it sweeps the problem under the bed but if you keep doing it eventually the problem will multiply and get worse. My split ends were only covered, they never repaired. For this reason....no thanks!

A lovely shampoo/conditioner, with a lovely fragrance, and almost luxurious feel while washing, with lots of bubbly lather, but once the shampoo was washed out, my hair felt like straw. Adding conditioner definitely helped to get rid of this feeling. Have used both 3 times as suggested, and I'm not sure if it's due to low humidity at the moment or not, but my hair does seem to be somewhat less frizzy, and feels a lot silkier and smoother to the touch than usual. I will definitely continue to use the products for a while longer though, to see if there will be any more improvement. I usually wash my hair every other day, and found with these products that on the day that I didn't wash it, my hair felt and looked better. I feel the price and size of the bottles I feel is good value for money, but still undecided as to whether or not this product does what it says, for me.

The shampoo and conditioner both are great, my hair is smoother and not so frizzy. Although I don't think that it has really helped with split ends. My hair is quite damaged at the moment so that could be the issue, maybe I simply need a trim, but did my final check today and still have some split ends, not as bad as before though. I feel if you have split ends, they are simply damaged, and need to be cut, i dont think a shampoo can fix it so much. But I would definately carry on using this, it has made my hair feel so soft!!

I must admit that when I read what this shampoo and conditioner could do I was a bit skeptical. I had visions of split ends magicially binding together. I dont have split ends at the moment, so I cant say whether my split ends magicially disappeared. But I can say that after 3 uses of the shampoo and conditioner my hair has visibly become so much shinier and softer and smelling so fresh. Also, you wont have to worry about running out of shampoo and conditioner because the bottles are huge and will last for ages!

Never used TRESemme before so first impressions - I don't hate it and would use again. My hair is curly and the epitomy of dry, brittle split ends. The shampoo/conditioner smelt so good and left my hair feeling clean, soft, and tamed. After a week of using it I have seen a slight improvement in my ends which is exciting.

I have loads of split ends as I bleach my hair. The bottle said that it reduced them after about 3 washes, and I noticed a difference after 5 washes ( I wash my hair daily). I would deff use it again made my hair feel very soft and looked silky and not as frizzy and fluffed.

I was very skeptical when i read on the bottle that it would repair up to 80% of split ends as i have tried products before that claim to do this and have failed, but i was very happy with the results. Even after the first wash i noticed a decrease in the number of split ends that i had, and by the third wash i was very happy.

I liked what the product did in terms of helping with split ends, but because of the way that the conditioner worked i found it to be quite heavy and left my hair a little waxy once dried. Because of this, i wouldn't use the conditioner every wash, i would alternate between conditioners to prevent your hair feeling kinda gross after the third wash (I wash my hair every second day).

The product also smelled really nice in the bottle, but i found that it didn't smell as great on dried hair which is a shame!

Both the conditioner and the shampoo and quite creamy in consistency which was great, as i find that type of product really easy to apply, i just wish that it had come in a pump bottle! Would have made it a lot easier

Overall, i love the results i got, but i didn't particularly like the conditioner and the way it left my hair. I will definitely use the shampoo again, but i would only use the conditioner every second wash.
