LIke other reviewers I loved the fragrance of these products and I couldn't wait to get stuck in. My hair is pretty dry at the moment and I had high hope of sleek shiny hair. I'm really torn with this one to be honest I loved using the products but when I was drying and styling my hair afterwards it felt quite cumbersome and weighted down. I persevered for another week and I warmed it it a bit more, but it wouldn't be my first choice. My daughter on the the other hand has very fine, extremely dry hair that tangles really easily and it is AWESOME for her. Her hair is easy to brush out after washing (that's one less fight) and looks healthy and glossy. I purchase Tresemme a lot and enjoy using it but my sense is that this product will either completely suit and rock your hair or it won't be your bag at all. So for our household 50/50.

Tips: Persevere for more than one wash.
I was excited to try this product because I have quite bad split ends from dry, straightened hair.
I love the smell, and the texture feels great while its on your hands. The shampoo worked relatively well for me, but the conditioner weighed my hair down and made it feel kindof strange and sticky. It did hide the split ends though so it does do what it said it would!
Probably just not good for my thin, fine hair. Might work better on thicker hair.
I was super excited to trial this product. Its a nice product for a non salon product. Nice smell ect. In saying that, Rather than fix the split ends it only hides them with a coating. for people with fine hair, it is a bit weighty, but i would recommend using a little less conditioner to avoid this. The shampoo foams easy and doesnt require a lot of product to wash your hair. The conditioner is silky and makes your hair feel really smooth. Overall, good product that is not really any different from any other similar product on the market that claims to do the same thing (although love the scent!!!)
Tips: For people with fine hair, try not use much conditioner as it can be a bit weighty.
I have to agree with the other reviewers, loved the smell and the texture of this product. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the conditioner. IIt was nice and thick for a supermarket product. I'm not sure if it 'blended' my split ends but I did feel it made my hair smoother. On the other hand I felt like the shampoo was too heavy and weighed my hair down near the roots, may be due to my hair being both dry and my scalp being on the oily side though. Would use the conditioner again but will stick to my regular shampoo.
Tips: Only apply conditioner to the roots as it weighed down the hair closest to my scalp too much.
I was keenly looking forward to the shampoo and conditioner as i love TRESemme products. I used the product 4 times and i did notice a slight difference in my split ends. However, afterwards my hair got really tangled and felt extremely heavy, not light and fresh looking.
I would love to see bottles this size with a pump as at 800ml they are quite hefty to be picking up in the shower.
First impression of the smell was that it was not overpowering, however it wasn't a fragrance that appeals to me. Kind old ladyish lol.
I've used it 5 times now and feel that it actually has made a difference to my hair in that it's not as "fluffy" when it is dry. I can't say as it has made a noticeable difference to the split ends.
Overall I like the way my hair feels and styles after using the split remedy shampoo and conditioner. Only downside was the smell and no pumps. The smell didn't stay in my hair either so I can't complain too much.
I was nicely surprised at the results having used salon branded product for years
Tips: The bottle says to rub the condition in the palms of your hands prior to putting it in your hair - I did follow this tip so I guess it works.
For this product, Tresemme made a few promises I personally wanted to hear. It first claimed that results are seen after three 'uses', so i did exactly that, i used the product three times (once every second day). The positives of this product is the product is packaged in a professional looking bottle with a cap that exits the product with ease and less handling. There is a lot of product as the bottle is filled to the very top. It has a very sweet, rich, and indulgent fragrance which is very lasting even when hair is dry. I noticed that i had less split ends in which executes the main claim of the product. The negatives of using this product is less moisturising than what it claimed, my hair seemed more dry and frizzy than usual. Also, I noticed that my scalp is a little flakey. So i would not recommend this product to those with sensitive scalps, however, i would recommend for those without sensitive scalp and is looking for a split remedy.
I am desperately trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that gives me the shine and hydration I need without making my hair greasy and heavy. Unfortunately this product wasnt for me. The only thing so far has been a L'Oreal Steampod Treatment from my hairdresser. I found the shampoo really dried my hair. As I am lathering, it feels coarse and stringy. The conditioner doesn't hydrate enough to give my hair shine. Now I understand the purpose of this product is to "repair" split ends, and I will admit, the appearance of split ends has diminished significantly, which is why I have marked it highly for that, but I dont see the point in having long, split free hair if it is dry and rough looking. So all in all, good marks for split end "repair", low marks for drying out my hair.
Tips: If you have serious split ends, then give this a go. It will improve the appearance of them for sure. If you already have dry hair, maybe opt for an extra dose of your favourite condition just to keep the moisture in. Good luck. :)
I have very dry hair and regularly use straighteners and blowdry my hair, so I usually focus on the prevention of split ends and know not a lot can be done to mend them once they have occurred, so I was very interested to try this product. I liked the shampoo, I thought it did a great job and made my hair feel very clean afterwards, plus only had to wash once - with some shampoos you need to wash and rinse twice. I left the conditioner in for quite a while, but my hair still didn't feel totally hydrated after washing out. I noticed a very slight reduction in the appearance of my split ends, but my hair dried out a lot quicker than with other shampoos and conditioners I had used. Would probably take more than three washes to make a huge difference - this was quite and ambitious claim. Definitely helped with split ends and dryness more than some other products, but have also tried a lot better.
I tried this product after going from expensive shampoos, I loved the smell and the large bottles were a plus. I put the shampoo in and washed it out, my hair felt so dry and straw like. I then tried the conditioner and may have been a little excessive as I was nervous about how dry my hair felt. The conditioner felt good in and washed out fine. I blow dried my hair and had so many fly aways. Much more than normal and I felt the need to use my product in my hair afterwards tomake it feel less dry. I tried the product again 2 days later and had the same results, to be honest I almost feel as though my split ends are worse or maybe the same but certainly not different. The one positive I did think the smell of the products were amazing and I would use the conditioner as a default one when my normal products run out.
