VO5 Refresh Me Quick - Dry Shampoo

I am usually a fan of the Batiste Dry Shampoo, but when I went to buy some I found this on special. The same size (700ml), but half the price - so I figured why not? I am glad I did. The fragrance is beautiful (not as floral as the Batiste), but kind of fruitier? and I swear my hair feels nicer now than it does after washing it with normal shampoo. I use dry shampoos every second day (washing normally in between), and have found this product to be a huge time saver. Like most dry shampoos there can be a white residue if you spray it too close to your hair, but brushing will get rid of it. My new favourite dry shampoo! Thanks VO5! I guess I will have to try the rest of your range now.

I have tried a few dry shampoos and decided to try this one as it was reasonibly priced. It was ok but I needed to use more of it than other brands, eg batiste

This dry shampoo is just your regular dry shampoo. I think this is quite average. I do use mine all the time and I have repurchased simply because I don't need a fabulous dry shampoo, it does what it say it does - refreshes my hair quick, it makes my hair less oily and thats all I need. I do think there are much worse and I think there are much better dry shampoos. I just think this is a cheap easy way of refreshing your hair!

This dry shampoo sure works for me! Just apply a small amount to the reviews and leave it for a bit before combing out and my hair feels noticeably less oily and more clean, not saying you should just cut washing hair out and stick to this, but definitely good for when in a rush and have no time for a quick refresher for the hair

I've been trying a few different dry shampoos recently as I can't seem to find any that blow me away. This dry shampoo does the job without leaving behind white residue (which is hard to find in a dry shampoo when you're brunette!) but I do find that you have to use a lot to really get rid or the greasy look. One spray is enough if your hair is just on the edge of being greasy, but if your hair is due for a wash you really need to use a lot. I like how this smells, it makes me feel less gross about having unwashed hair but I can imagine that for some people this could be a little bit over powering. The fine mist that is produced makes this product very easy to disperse though your hair.

I bought the V05 dry shampoo after talking about it with my friends. I used to wash my hair everyday as I am a blonde, and can look greasy and dirty so easily. I love this dry shampoo, make my hair look, and feel clean with an amazing smell. I have noticed that white powder does appear once applied, but I just brush through and I'm good to go!

This was the first dry shampoo I've ever bought - and I chose this product mainly because it was cheaper than everything else at my local pharmacy. It feels really nice when you apply it, however you do need to use a lot, and it does leave white powder in your hair which you have to be careful to brush through. I also found that by the end of the day, my hair would start looking a little greasy again. I love the concept of dry shampoo but I think I'll be trying another brand in the future.

First of all I love the scent of this, but unfortunately I didn't find it cleaned my hair as well as the brand I usually use (Batiste). I found I needed to use a lot more product to get my hair to a point I was happy with and even then I found myself wanting to reapply throughout the day. It doesn't do much in terms of volume either like other dry shampoos and is not something I will repurchase as it just doesn't perform the best. It is reasonably priced but no cheaper than Batiste so I will be sticking to that in future.

I bought this after hearing a friend rave about dry shampoo. I'd seen other brands in Farmers but didn't want to spend that much (I was dubious) so this was the perfect trial product for me.

I loved it. It lifted my hair, took away the dull greasy look and replaced it with a healthy shine. Definitely apply from arm's length as it will leave residue if sprayed too close! Any residue easily brushes through though.

I have now changed my hair care routine: wash weekly, and every two or three days top up with this product. My hair looks great, is growing faster and feels stronger.

I have quite fine, blonde hair, and not a lot of it. It can look greasy and flat quite quickly even if it isn't, and I don't like washing it too often coz that makes it look worse. VO5's dry shampoo gives me volume and stops my hair looking like an oil spill. I find it's also good if I was to do a specific hairstyle but my hair is too slippery from recent washing, because it gives it more texture/makes it more grippy.
