VO5 Refresh Me Quick - Dry Shampoo

This product is really good for a few things - it does get rid of most of the grease, it's cheap and it can be easily picked up from the supermarket making it an ideal quick fix. However the smell is a bit of a turn off if you usually use a product like Batiste because I find this smells more like an aerosol hairspray.

This Product did what it says it would do but it leaves little white spots in your scalp area even after brushing it, But it smells amazing and gets rid of oil but leaves your sort of dry feeling but it looks clean and healthy ( it just doesn't feel like it)

I normally use Batiste Dry Shampoo but had to grab some at the supermarket as I was in a rush and Batiste wasn't stocked there. I saw this VO5 Dry Shampoo and thought why not? It was on special and even at full price was under half the price of Batiste.

I loved the packaging with the pink can, and was excited to try it when my hair needed a bit of refreshing. It was easy to apply and didn't make my hair go white or feel strange at all. It did seem to remove some oiliness from my hair but it didn't seem to last as long, by the end of the day my hair was oily again which was disappointing.

It also had an average scent and just smelt like your normal hairspray which was disappointing as I thought it might have a nice floral/clean fragrance or something.

Definitely for the price this did the job and was great if you were wanting to try a dry shampoo and didn't want to splurge on a higher end product. I would use this again but I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase it.

I really like the actual product itself and it does act as a great dry shampoo and doesn't leave white spray marks. However I've found when using any VO5 products including this one, the bottle is always faulty - this is because after you start spraying then it continues to spray even after you've let go of the spray. It ends up wasting about half of the bottle into the air all up. You just have to shake it until it stops spraying. It's a shame because it's such a good product.

Didn't find this that great, made my hair feel a bit yuck? Like it had lots of product in it, and it became like stuck together, it did absorb oil and make hair look clean though it just didn't smell great or make my hair feel very nice.

Never have I used dry shampoo before I found it good for when I’m a hurry and didn’t have time to wash my hair . Did a good job and made my hair look like it had just been washed . But if you use to much it makes your hair go white so wouldn’t recommend on dark coloured hair .

This is my current dry shampoo, I love the smell, it just smells clean and not perfumed. I feel like this doesn't work as well as previous brands, like you can still tell the hair is a bit oily. It sits well in my light coloured hair

It leaves a nice fresh scent in my hair, making it smell like it has just been washed. However, it does feel a bit more 'cheap' than other products. It left little white marks in my hair making it look like dandruff, but they seemed to mainly disappear once I 'fluffed' my hair. It helped my hair look less dirty for a short amount of time, would prefer if it was longer lasting.

First of all...I LOVE the smell! It smells amazing. But it ends there. I felt like I needed to spray several times to actually get it to work and then it irritated my scalp. I've only used a handful of times as it took me that long to realise after every time I used it, I had scalp irritation. It's an adequate dry shampoo, smells good and is cheap. Unfortunately for me I have a sensitive scalp and this didn't work for me.
