VO5 Refresh Me Quick - Dry Shampoo

Was gifted this from family. Big pink hairspray type cannister. Sprays like a traditional hairspray. I've only used foamed formulas in the past, wasn't expecting this. Quite a potent scent. Though it is easy enough to dispense and use, I'm not a fan. End result doesn't look as fresh compared to other brands I've used. This feels and looks more like a styling product. This will last me months, I will finish it up but won't repurchase.

It leaves a nice fresh scent in my hair, making it smell like it has just been washed. However, it does feel a bit more 'cheap' than other products. It left little white marks in my hair making it look like dandruff, but they seemed to mainly disappear once I 'fluffed' my hair. It helped my hair look less dirty for a short amount of time, would prefer if it was longer lasting.

This is the first dry shampoo I ever used, and it is the only dry shampoo I have ever used. I have repurchased this 3 times because of a few reasons, 1. The smell is awesome 2. It is so handy for travelling with instead of taking shampoo and conditioner 3. It is so refreshing and it makes your hair clean, shiny, smooth and volumized. 4. The packaging is cute 5. It is pretty affordable for the amount of time it lasts 6. It does what it says it should do I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it is probably my favorite beauty product... (big call, I know) ;)

Smells really fresh and definitely gives your greasy hair lots of body and texture. I had a much better experience with VO5 Refresh Me Quick than the first dry shampoo I tried that left my hair all wet and sticky looking. I did a thorough brush and all the white stuff came out didn't leave white flakes in my hair, I did have to clean my brush but I guess you do when you use a dry shampoo. No itchy scalp afterwards too which I sort of thought I would get with dry shampoo. I would definitely recommend this product to use in between washes if you're too busy to wash your hair.

I bought this after reading the Battle of the Brands reviews, and considering the price difference between this and Redken, I thought it can't be that bad. Right?

Got it from the chemist across the road as my hair was starting to look a little oilier than I'd like on my second day hair.

After following instructions of giving it a vigorous shake, I sprayed it on the roots of my hair and worked it in, and it didn't seem to do a bad job I must say. It doesn't look like an oil slick! So very happy with the value for money of this product and would definitely recommend.

Heck yes I would use this again, flip, I would even recommend it to friends!! I always have a can of this on hand. It is so easy to use. Some dry shampoos leave you looking like a grandma with Grey hair if you put too much in, but this one is fab because you use your fingers to tousle it out. Not only does it leave your hair feeling clean (without that awful 'thick' feeling some dry shampoos leave you with) But it gives you lift and volume which is often needed to accompany a quick clean.

Came across this on special in supermarket & was so glad I brought it. The smell is Devine and really fresh. I used just on my crown and helped give it a lift as well as removing the slightly greasy look. Great product to use after the gym when hair lank. Just wish it was available in smaller size to throw in makeup bag.

I really enjoy the ease of this product and the texture it adds to my hair after I have worked it in. I think the scent is very pleasant and non-intrusive. The only down side to this product is the greyish tone it can leave in your hair if you don't work it in properly. This means that it always take that little bit more effort to use this product than others.

First of all I love the scent of this, but unfortunately I didn't find it cleaned my hair as well as the brand I usually use (Batiste). I found I needed to use a lot more product to get my hair to a point I was happy with and even then I found myself wanting to reapply throughout the day. It doesn't do much in terms of volume either like other dry shampoos and is not something I will repurchase as it just doesn't perform the best. It is reasonably priced but no cheaper than Batiste so I will be sticking to that in future.
