VO5 Refresh Me Quick - Dry Shampoo

I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect dry shampoo as I'm someone with super greasy hair who needs to wash everyday! I picked this up in my quest and I'm sad to report that this isn't 'the one'.

I love the shiny pink metallic fun packaging, I think that's what drew me to it in the first place (I'm such a magpie for shiny things!). The product smells amazing, very fruity in my opinion and doesn't leave an obvious white residue in my mousey brown hair but it doesn't do a very good job of soaking up the oils. I still feel like I need a good hair wash and its only acceptable for touching up mildly oily hair to go to the gym or maybe the supermarket - not work or shopping!

I wanted to love this but unfortunately it just doesn't work as well as I need it too. Those with only slightly greasy hair may find this works better.

Smells really fresh and definitely gives your greasy hair lots of body and texture. I had a much better experience with VO5 Refresh Me Quick than the first dry shampoo I tried that left my hair all wet and sticky looking. I did a thorough brush and all the white stuff came out didn't leave white flakes in my hair, I did have to clean my brush but I guess you do when you use a dry shampoo. No itchy scalp afterwards too which I sort of thought I would get with dry shampoo. I would definitely recommend this product to use in between washes if you're too busy to wash your hair.

Smells great, however you do have to be careful about how much you use! I found if i sprayed too much it made my hair stiff. I would use this product again. Its great if you don't have time to wash your hair

I have quite fine, blonde hair, and not a lot of it. It can look greasy and flat quite quickly even if it isn't, and I don't like washing it too often coz that makes it look worse. VO5's dry shampoo gives me volume and stops my hair looking like an oil spill. I find it's also good if I was to do a specific hairstyle but my hair is too slippery from recent washing, because it gives it more texture/makes it more grippy.

This is my favourite dry shampoo available from the supermarket. First of all I love the fragrance, It smells like I have freshly just washed my hair when I use it. I must say I have quite oily hair so I do use a lot in one sitting otherwise one little spray doesn't really do much. I love how this product does not leave any obvious white residue behind and it is easy to brush out. For a dry shampoo available from the supermarket it does the trick.

i brought this today as it was quite affordable at $8.99 200ml from countdown, i dont usually use vo5 hair products but ive never seen this one before so,thought id give it a whirl (stoked its on here to review also! bonus) so it comes in a nice pink can,i got the one for normal to oily hair, i like the smell of it,but wouldnt say its the best smell ive smelt, its easy to use, i had quite oily hair today as had no time to wash hair, i found it gave a nice cooling feeling on my scalp,ive got rather thick hair but found that the vo5 dry shampoo did what it says it does, i didnt have to use that much either which is good as i like to get many uses out of a product.so overall i would reccommend it and would purchase it again. hopefully its in the battle of the brands! if so cant wait to see where it ranks...

I'm a big fan of dry shampoo and I'm no longer a daily hair washer, despite having seriously oily hair. I've tried a multitude of dry shampoos, and this is up there (aka as good as!) other 'drugstore' dry shampoos I've tried. I went three days in between hair washes with this - awesome! Will definitely be buying this!

I bought this dry shampoo as it was on special for only $5 at my local supermarket and for that price I was very impressed with the results. My hair was noticeably less oily and more manageable and it top of that it smelled great!

this product is a life saver. being away at parachute it was hard to find time to shower long enough to do a full hair wash and with all the bands playing i didnt want to miss out so each shower was super quick.. this saved my hair whilst i was there. super easy to use and gets rid of any nasty oily looking roots quick as!
