Have used this tool for my thick shoulder length lob for around 5 years. Unfortunately the first style I had broke and was unusable as the straightening brush attachment couldn't fit into the tool as the clips broke after warranty. My second appliance also did the same however and thankfully within the warranty period. I am on my 3rd appliance and it is still fine. It straighten and gives a vibrant shine to unruly hair.

Tips: Ensure it doesn't break outside of warranty. If VS strengthened the brush attachment clips it would be a great tool. Unfortunately there is a lot of pressure on these clips.
I brought this a little while ago as I wanted a hot air styler. Unfortunately it hasn't really impressed me and its quite hard to use on my long and thick hair.
It looks stylish and high end, but I just didn't get the results I was after.
I have used and highly rate some vs sassoon tools, but this one isn't my favourite.
I decided to go ahead and buy the ghd hot brush instead.
I purchased one of these 3 weeks ago from Farmers as was half price. I got home and had a shower, washed the hair. As per the directions it says to use once your hair is around 80%-90% dry. I placed the largest barrel on the Styler and went for it. It is quite large so had to get use to holding it. I sectioned my hair out and used the top speed, at first you need to get use to it as would tighten up and nearly rip out my hair but then learned to reverse it down. After getting use to it I found it quite easy. When I changed to the second speed I then found it much easier to use and did the trick. It is pretty much combining the hair brush with a blow dryer when makes things much simple
Tips: Use the second speed first before using top speed to get use the motion and getting the right tension.
I had heard a lot about this product and was excited to try it so brought one. It is a product that takes a little bit of practise to use, but once you get the idea it becomes easier. As per the instructions you need to wait until your hair is nearly dry (80%) then section off then using the low speed first lay the hair over the brush. You kind of have to apply tension to the brush to keep your hair from wrapping around the brush completely and getting tangled or stuck. It has a built in hairdryer so drys and adds volume and leaves hair smooth but not poker straight. By changing the direction the brush is rotating you can create different looks, curled under or flicked out. I think probably easiest to use on shoulder length or shorter hair styles. My own hair is longer and I found it too time consuming.
