The product seems super simple. A mascara brush for your greys. It comes in handy packaging, discreet and easy to apply. Be cautious when opening it for the first time as it tends to 'spit' when opened. it was easy to apply with the little plastic brush. and went on almost like I had highlights. It blended reasonably well. Unfortunately, the 'dark brown' shade was quite dark so I would definitely recommend that you go one shade down. The product sets pretty quickly so you can't much around but it was almost better when it had as I could comb it out a little bit which helped it blend further. Overall its a pretty good product and I would purchase this product to have on hand for emergencies.

Tips: I would definitely go a shade down and use a fine comb once set to blend it further.
My product was packaged in a small wand applicator box which could easily fit into a small hand bag. The product discription should be made clear to the consumer and state the words "wand" or "applicator wand" to give more description of what would be received. The packaging was easy to open and the directions easy to follow. Applying the product was easy but I have long hair and found the the small applicator brush was too small to use for my length of hair but should be perfect for short to medium length hair. I also found that some grey hairs missed out even when I combed through my hair. I also found that after I combed it through my hair, product was left behind on the comb and I had to reapply the product again to my hair. Perhaps I should have waited longer than 5 mins for my hair to dry as my hair was longer and thicker in strand.
Tips: I should have also worn a towl or gloves as my clothes and hands had colour marks on them from my hair. As mentioned previously I would recommend for those with shorter length hair and for short term use.
This was my first time using this type of grey/regrowth cover. As someone who has dyed dark hair, LOTS of greys and blonde regrowth I am a huge fan of these products for touching up in between dye jobs.. This one is easy to use, compact and very cost effective. It covered well but was a little crunchy to the touch though there was no transfer. I have used the spray cover up from this brand and prefer that, however this would be fantastic for keeping in your handbag for touch-ups as it is small and compact.
I would probably not purchase this again, unless it was on special.
I didn't love this product, it made my hair crispy even after combing through, I didn't find it to make much a colour difference either, could be that some of my roots were showing through and the are perhaps too dark for this. It made a marginal difference but was quite gold, not a nice blond colour Application was easy and the brush was effective in distributing around the hair I wouldnt buy this again however, which is a shame as I had high hopes.
Tips: Perhaps this product is better for someone with completely grey hair rather than just some greys and some dark...
Well, I had my doubts. I really doubted if this item would do what it said. I’ve used several products claiming to cover greys, including a hair mascara in the past. At best, they worked but were so messy it made me reluctant to use again. However, with this I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly, the wand is more precise than others I’ve used. It was more like a comb, making it easy to work into the hairline and blur out. Additionally, no fallout or sprays going everywhere! My boyfriend agreed with me that the effect was natural and he couldn’t detect it on my hair and no funny odour. I’ve not washed my hair for 3 days, and it’s definitely worn off a bit, but not completely and I’m sure I could reapply without any buildup or cakeyness. There has been no flaking in those 3 days either or mess on my pillowcase and it hasn’t added oil or grease to my hairline. My downsides would be you’ll need to be careful when you choose your colour - with so many options it suggests they’re all very different so it could be hard to find an exact match, and make sure you wipe the comb before you apply. It coats too much the first time!
Bottom line - I love it! It has given me a lot of confidence to go longer between colourings so that’s a win from me.
Tips: Wipe the comb before you apply the first time!
This product is packaged in a gorgeous box, with clear easy to understand instructions. The applicator is flat with comb like edges so it can get right into the roots. It is a nice consistency and covers even the wiry unruly greys! I found the applicator so easy to use, I have used sprays in the past and you tend to get it on your face and everywhere else too. This method is much easier and far tidier to apply. It drys nicely and quickly not leaving your hair sticky or powdery like other products. It lasts well and the colour match was great. The wand is just like a mascara so easy to pop in your handbag if you want to reapply during the day, but I found it lasted really well. I highly recommend the L’Oréal magic retouch precision and would definately use in between having my regrowth coloured. I have a lot of greys in my part line and this is the perfect product for disguising them between salon appointments,
Overall great product
Tips: using the very end of the wand gets right in close to those new growth hairs as it’s pointy and then the comb edge for distributing it great.
