Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

I was lucky enough to score this from the BR vault. Its a really nice razor to use, it glided along my skin effortlessly and it didn't irritate my skin or even feel like I was shaving. It didn't really leave my legs moisturised though, and I still have to carry around my simple razor as the Schick Hydro Silk Razor can't be used on my bikini line as its too bulky and not precise enough. I love this razor for my legs and underarms though because it provides a nice close shave with no irritation. However, I use soap to shave with and when I use this razor, it turns to a big gloopy mess all over my legs, that is kinda hard to wash off.

I'm personally more of a waxer but there are just times I can't wait for hair to grow back. I use sugar wax on my under arms, in between waxes and for any bits this razor is great. I don't get razor burn or nicks and cuts.

I have often had problems with shaving rash and getting really irritated, itchy legs after shaving, even when following all the directions of how you're supposed to do it. This razor has been the best one I have found to help stop that.

It glides smoothly along the skin, providing a smooth shave meaning you don't need to go over the area again which is a major cause of skin irritation. The hydrating bars are also really helpful in giving back moisture to the skin and leaving legs feeling silky smooth.

The razor is also really well designed with the handle being easy to grip and move along the skin and the head well oriented to get into hard to reach places such as around the knees.

This razor is slightly more expensive than your bog standard supermarket cheap ones, but I feel it is worth it for the quality shave it gives and the decent length of time it lasts before needing to be replaced.

Love the wide head and 5 blades, makes shaving so much easier. Gives a really close shave and makes my legs really feel smooth. Only thing I don't like about this razor is the slimy residue it leaves on your legs.

This is great. I'm not too fussed on what kinds of razors I use, I am convinced there is a difference between the mid-range/cheapies and these cause these don't irritate my skin as much as others/disposables. I am a fan of the razors with hydrating strips as my skin get very fussy when it comes to shaving and this one was great. No nicks, no burn or irritation just a close shave.

I really like this shaver, leaves skin feeling really soft and gives you a nice close shave. Doesn't dry out my skin like some can because it has nice moisturising properties which is a must for me due to dry, sensitive skin.

Well what can you really say is does the job and leaves smooth results. It is a really cheap also. Only downside is doesn't have a wall mount thing

I found this razor a very nice product for my skin. I get a very close shave on my legs which is what I like! I found buying new blades for this product wayyy to pricey but I will continue using it as I love how it leaves my skin feeling smooth from a close shave! This is the only razor I use now and I do recommend it to other.

I love this razor, I got mine as a free gift and so glad I got it. Gets a really close shave and moves around my legs really easy. I also like the serum bars, these make my legs feel baby soft. The razor is easy to hold without dropping when in the shower.

I've tried many razors over the years and this one has definitely been the best. It has enough moisture and the blades stay sharper longer compared to other schick ones I have tried. Also, hair doesn't get clogged in the blades and it rinses really easily. Gives a nice smooth close shave and doesn't cause me any irritation like red bumps. The best thing about it has to be that the blades last longer than any other schick I have used.
