Schick Hydro Silk Razor Review

This is the only razor I use. Very easy to use, gives a smooth finish and I hardly ever cut myself even though it has 5 blades. Just a shame the blade refills are so expensive.

I brought one of these the other day and i dont konw why i did not get one earlier. It works great and leaves your skin felling silky smooth!!

this razor is incredible does exactly what it says it will and the 5 blades make for an amazing clean silky smooth shave that doesnt leave any shaving rash, have used over and over and still goes just like new do not have to replace the razor every couple of weeks like other ones i have tried. great product (:

I recently ordered some shoes online from Wild Pair. When I received the box, one of these Schick Razors was inside. I am guessing I missed something in regards to a promotional razor...but either way, I was pleasantly surprised. I was so eager to try this and conveniently needed to shave that night so it was perfect timing! From having used Venus razors always, I was easily able to tell the differences between the brands. I did enjoy the handle on this one due to the deep grooves and the fact that it was fatter, meaning more grip. In terms of the razor, it had a nice covering of moisture around the blades, but from memory with previous blades, this moisture layer never lasts the full time the blade does. It was sharp enough but no sharper than any other I have tried and my regrowth was no quicker or slower either. I would re-purchase now I have the unit (making it cheaper) but I cant say if I necessarily prefer this to my Venus. Only time will tell!

I sue this razor, I feel this is a great razor if the blade is new, once it gets blunt it does start to give me a rash. Otherwise it is a good razor!

This is a great razor - I have tried lots of other but seem to always come back to this. Awesome smooth silky shave without the repetitive strokes over the same spot. Great contoured handle for ease. Highly recommend this.

Wasn't as close a shave as I would have liked but that eliminates cuts from overly sharp blades, much more flexible and a smooth finish

I bought these a few weeks ago, great razor, my legs had never felt so smooth in my life. Probably on the third time i went to use it.... it was blunt? Nobody else had used it because i keep it in my room. the blades just dont last long i guess. Luckily it comes with a second head so that was handy, not the best but certainly better than alot i have tried

pros: what I found good about these razors was that I didn't have to keep going over the same spot due to the 5 blades. they had a good grip on the handle which helped reduce slip cons: they were a bit pricey. the lubrication bar thing came off mid shave

Love the smooth silky feeling, easy to use don't have to worry about gels or foams etc safest I've come across in a while been thru a few but always come back to this
