I have had these sitting around home for a year now. I normally go to the beautician for any waxing and hair removal. Then I finally thought this tache needs gone and I have everything I need right here. So I prepped myself for the unknown. The strip was actually too big for my upper lip and instead of cutting it to size I went on and applied it carefully on a whim it would work. pressure onto the strip ensuring even adhesive and then I lifted it up and what do you know it worked a gem. With a full tache on the strip. If only you were a fly on the wall. I was overjoyed with the results. No painful after effects and to be sure I used the after care wipe which did no harm. I can see my routine changing from now on and I have total trust in this product doing what I would normally pay a beautician to do. I can do myself. There was no rash. Especially please to see that the hair was pulled from the root and not just snapped or cut. I even tried a strip on my legs and it worked wonders. I love how easy and simple it is. Rubbing in your hands to warm up and then applying to area, hold skin taut and pull off quick smart...... Beautician in your own home.

Tips: Apply to clean face and if you have oily skin put powder on area of concern prior to application of strip
I used for my upper lip hair, because i did not want to shave it off, and plucking would take too long. The thing is you have to have hair as short as 2mm, for it to be pulled off, so if you have million of tiny hair less than 2mm then it will not work as well.
I found that it pulled out the big ones but the small hairs were not pulled off, as it stated. It worked very well, and it is inexpensive, it also comes with calming wipes which clean the left over traces of the wax.
Tips: Don't do it in the morning and do a patch test
Does not really remove the hair like it says, There is still hair left and found it irritating if you reapplied it over the same are. It made the skin quite sore afterwards. The wipes are very oily. I feel that there needs to be more wipes for the amount of wax strips that were in the pack. Product does have a really nice smell. It would be great if it made to hair thinner the more times that you used it.
I had a go with these as my first waxing experience - ever! I thought the box looked attractive and I use other Veet products so thought these would be equally easy to use and reliable.
Firstly I managed to get one on without issue, but then oh the pain of removing it!! It got most of the hair but lots of skin seemed to come with it. I felt sticky and horrible afterwards and had bright red skin where the wax had come off. The wipes worked ok for getting rid of the wax, and smelled nice, but I was conscious of the waxed area for ages afterwards. It put me off waxing for a long time but I now know from getting professional waxes that it doesn't have to be that painful or irritating to the skin. I only tried them on my face so they may be better for other body parts, but to be honest I didn't want to try.
I'm afraid I wouldn't buy these again or recommend them.
Tips: If you do use them, keep some fresh aloe vera handy to dab on for redness and pain.
I resently purchased this product. It was okay to use on my upper lip. It removed most of the hair and was extremely painful but I also need to say I don't like removing sticking plastics because of the pain. I think it did a okay job but I think it's weird you get 20 strips and only 4 wipes.
Tips: Buy baby oil at the same time.
I had been using these for years to get rid of unwanted facial hair on my upper lip. The pre-waxed strips are easy to use, although I do find that they can be harsh - painful to remove and sometimes it feels like the strip is taking off a thin layer of skin as well as the unwanted hairs.
Compared to Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper (which I now use on my upper lip) the Veet Wax Strips are much more painful and leave the skin on my lip looking red and irritated for longer. With the Veet Strips, I am apprehensive to re-wax an area where hairs may have been left behind, but will happily re-wax a section if I’m using Nad’s Eyebrow Shaper as it’s much more gentle.
I tend to use these Veet Face Strips on my bikini line, belly button and feet (yes, unfortunately I have hairy toes that need waxing too). The strips are perfect for these areas and work really well.
Tips: When you run out of wipes, use a little baby oil or tissue oil on a cotton pad to remove any excess wax residue.
My skin is real sensitive. I found these strips easy to use but I got a nasty reaction of pimple breakouts around the places I had waxed. I cleaned my face before I used them and used the after-wax wipe and my skin reacted badly.
Tips: Be sure to test a small region and wait for two days before doing a larger part as you might have a nasty reaction like mine.
If you can put up with the temporary pain of pulling these off your skin, these wax strips are worth trying. It took me about 10 mins to do my top lip & even a few stray hairs on my chin. The strips are easy to use, simply warm in your hands, then peel strips apart, you end up with 2 strips which is all you need for 1 application. Very effective for removing hair on the face, can also be used for touching up underarms & bikini line. The wax is very sticky, so the wipes are essential to use to get the wax off. The wipes have a lovely fragrance & are very oily, so I finished off with Nivea Cleansing wipes.
Tips: Good for sensitive skin, with vitamin E & almond oil. One pack of 20 wax strips should last for ages as you only need to use every couple of weeks, also if you run out of wipes, use baby oil to remove wax residue.
these are awesome for a quick touch up before the weekend, i like that you can just heat them up with your hands because the idea of heating hot wax in the microwave and burning myself scares me too much to try! the wipes that come with it are great for getting the excess wax off afterwards, but they are quite large and there isnt enough of them in the package, i would prefer more smaller wipes than less large wipes to ensure there is less chance of contamination (would be better to have a new wipe for each wax strip)
I love these, they are so easy to use and quick and convieniant. They are also small and easy to handle.
I have tried other brands and in comparison I would say that the veet formula is the best I have found for hair removal. It lifts even the shortest palelest hairs I couldn't even see.. just brilliant.
The clean up wipes, which are really just baby oil on a tissue are also very effective at cleaning off any trace of sticky wax. With other products I've found the wax always seems to leave a little residue no matter how much you tryand clean it off.
The smell is pleasant as is the packaging and the strips shape and semi transparency make it easy to handle and place effectively.
Love these. AAA+++ I would recommend them to everyone and I would definately buy them again.
