I love and hate waxing. I hate any sort of pain and I find waxing so painful! Though I found that the pain of these wax strips was not as much compared to the plastic strips. Would use again because I think it is worth the pain to not have to shave for a while and have such smooth legs!
Tips: Remove all leftover wax (if there is any) Straight after and don't do it the day before something big (eg. Ball, Prom, Wedding) Ive never tried any wax strips that have not left my legs red for the day after!
So I had never waxed before I usrd these strips, and so I had my mum help me with my legs. They were a tad overgrown :/ so first I cut the hairs a little. Overall it done the job well but I will probably folow instructions better next time
Tips: Exfoliate the night before and make sure the hair isn't too long especially if your waxing your legs
The best. This is my go to! It is easy, effective and inexpensive. I just love it, I use it for underarms, bikini line, eyesbrowes, upperlip, and legs. I use maybe 3 double-sided strips a week so the box lasts about a month for me. Such great value.
Tips: 1) Do not do your own Brazilian, I beg of you. Took me about 3 hours- most of that time was spent counting down to when I rip it off. Terrible idea. 2) Cut the strips for underarms, and even smaller for eyebrowes (be careful not the wax the lot!) and upper lip.
Compared to Nad's other products, this is in my opinion the best. Since I have sensitive skin, this was perfect. It was inexpensive but effective, removing most of my unwanted hair easily. Would definitely recommend this product
Bought these today to do my upper lip easy to use, gripped onto facial hair really well and surprisingly didn't hurt when I ripped off. Didn't leave me sore like other strips I have used in the past. The only disappointment with this product you don't get enough oiled wipes for post waxing. Very happy with this product
Tips: Before use make sure your skin is clean and dry
I have very sensitive skin so when I heard there were wax strips by my fave brand of wax, especially for sensitive skin, I had to have! I would much rather do an at home wax job on all the 'intimate' bit than go pro because it saves my embarrassment. Nads has always been my fave brand of wax because it seems more skin friendly ingredients for my body. When I saw this was made of beeswax that made me want it even more! If there is a more natural product on the market that works I am in head first!
$18 for an at home wax kit, yes please! I was just more excited that perhaps I finally had in my hot hand the answer to no more irritations after waxing. I decided to try it out one night before a candle lit bath. Now first off I love that it has after care wipes and moisturizer to keep irritation (if any) to a minimum. It's great how the wipes come double sided. The wax is a pink colour. I rub the strips which feel a bit like fabric rather than waxy paper between my hands to warm it up and make it pliable. I smooth it on to my desired area and firmly push it in to place.
The strip actually is quite easy to apply to the curvy areas so it's not going to miss any. I hold the skin tight and pull of in a band aid way fast! I pull it in the opposite direction of the hair growth to get the best results. The problem is I don't think I let the hair grow long enough because the shorter coarse hairs were left behind. I had to shave the left over hairs to make it smooth....annoying! It didn't hurt me but then I have a high pain tolerance. I used the wipes afterward to clean up wax left on my skin. They are very helpful and soothing.
I waited for a good 8 weeks before I attempted this again to ensure that I had long enough hair for the wax to grab on to. I repeated the same process but this time with far more success than the first time. I have learned my lesson not to do it when it's too short. It lasts smooth for a good four weeks before you see any hair growth which for me is perfect. With shaving I was having to do it everyday to keep on top of the smooth feeling which just takes up far too much of my time. This was is way better and far more time manageable. I notice that my skin doesn't react to these wax strips like the other strips. I remain irritation free so I am happy! If you can tolerate pain and hate shaving give these a go!
Tips: Wait until the hair is long enough for the wax to grab if it's too short it may get left behind.
Waxing is always a painful experience however when you don't have to worry about a bad reaction to the wax when you have sensitive skin it is a huge bonus. This product left my skin feeling smooth and fresh despite just having put it through hell ripping the hairs out. Its very affordable and works better than other brands in my opinion.
I brought these as I had had enough of shaving. But have since gone back to shaving. I followed the instructions very carefully and it did such a poor job. It claims to effectively remove hair. It didn’t matter how many times I tried, I had some parts smooth and hair free. The rest it looked like I’d not attempted waxing at all. Was very painful on areas that it worked. Also claims to be sensitive, perfect for my skin. Well that was until about 5 minutes after use where I was left with red, raised, sore rash which lasted days. Was affordable with what was in the box, but giving it only did half the job it wasn’t worth it.
Tips: be wary with skin reactions. I would recommend trying a test patch of skin, before attempt to wax whole area
I have pretty sensitive skin and I used this around my stomach area / snail trail (sorry probably a bit gross)..and worked really well there. The pain wasn't excruciating or anything and my skin wasn't irritated afterwards, just nice and smooth. Definetely comes with enough wax on the strips as well which is nice, and very easy to use. Have not tried on my legs so can't comment on that!
Tips: I find cutting the bigger pieces into smaller pieces makes it a bit easier to use - but again, depends on the area you are waxing!
