So this does do the job for my hair but I do have to wash every day or my dandruff does come back. But overall it is great

I had an itchy/flaky scalp episode recently so I tried this out. I used it for about a month and a half and I did notice that it lessened the flaking (not totally) and eased the itching. My hair also felt a little bit dry but not too much that it bothered me. Then again, my hair doesn't dry out easily so so if you have naturally dry hair this is something you might need to watch out for. I also wash my hair every day so this could be contributing to the dryness.
When it started getting colder I noticed that the skin on my forehead close to the hairline would dry and peel, and after I stopped using it the peeling stopped as well. I've been having really dry skin issues recently so I had to stop using this shampoo. While it does help with the itching/flaking of the scalp, I really don't like seeing dry patches on my face so this is a no no for me at least in this weather.
It really does help sort my dandruff out, but then it also really strips my colour from my hair. So i just have to use it once a week. So impressed in the way it combats my dandruff but obviously unimpressed that it strips my colour. It does leave my hair feeling very nourished and healthy
I originally purchased this to help remove semi-permanent colour from my hair. I ended up using this as I started to get a flaky scalp, wasn't really noticing any improvement. I stopped using this and found that my scalp stopped getting so flaky. Wouldn't repurchase.
I used to use Head and Shoulders back when I was living in Asia. I bought this Head and Shoulders 2 in 1 because I was trying to save on buying a conditioner separately and I had a dry flaky scalp until it got sweaty and oily and then became an oily flaky scalp. I did noticed a slight decrease in flakiness when I started using this but it wasn't 100% flake free. It left my hair soft but my really long hair still needed a conditioner. I stopped using Head and Shoulders when I switched to SLS free shampoos.
I grabbed this to counteract my dry scalp at the time and found that it also works well as a colour stripper! Not recommended for dyed hair, in particular reds. Unfortunately I also encountered a mild skin reaction at the time and now find some Olive oil helps counteract a dry scalp
After i use this i find my scalp worse and my dandruff becomes more noticeable which no one wants. I wouldnt recommend it.
This is such a well known brand and whilst at the supermarket I popped this into my trolley, in the hope it might help my dry, irritated scalp. I have to say I have tried most brands and products out there to treat my scalp.
The packaging has a curved white bottle, with a blue lid. It's simple and distinctive of the head and shoulders brand.
I'm mainly buy salon products for my hair, as I find most of them to be superior, in treating my scalp and nourishing my dry hair. However, I was hoping this more affordable product may do the trick.
The formula did seem to cleanse my hair well and made it feel fresh and clean. However, it seemed to do nothing for my dry irritated scalp, and the flakiness remained.
Also, this shampoo/conditioner was very drying for my hair and increased the frizziness. My hair just did not look good after using this. It definitely did not love up to its claims of being moisturising.
I was really disappointed in this product and will not be using it again. I have had far superior results with the Aveda brand, scalp balancing shampoo and conditioner, which has been so great for calming my scalp, as well as nourishing my hair.
I suffer from very flaky scalp that can get quite itchy. I tried this shampoo and although it left my hair feeling ok, it did nothing for my scalp. I definitely wouldn't buy it again.
While I totally stand by H&S for eliminating dandruff, I feel this is not quite up to their standards. I end up using conditioner as well.
After using a more natural shampoo for a while and turning to this product for dandruff reasons, this made my scalp sting and burn and I couldn't last using it!
