Nice firm creamy product, lathered nicely, and smells nice. After several uses, my hair was feeling much nicer

Tips: Keep using it!
My scalp had been irritated for months, but no matter what shampoo I used, the irritation never quite went away.
The bottle is really well designed, easily fitting in one hand, the slim design making it less cumbersome to squeeze.
I feel so lucky to have been chosen to trial Head & Shoulders shampoo, because even after the first wash, it was noticeably soothed. I could almost hear my scalp sigh with relief. It foams up nicely, and washes out easily, leaving your scalp and strands of hair feel clean and refreshed. It has a really lovely clean, fresh scent which is really pleasing, and once dried, my hair had a noticeable shine to it, which I've often found lacking when using dandruff shampoos.
All in all, I really loved this product, and will definitely be buying this again.
Tips: A second shampoo makes for a more luxurious foam to massage into the scalp.
The Head and Shoulders shampoo comes in the usual easy to use Head and Shoulders bottle.
I have used Head and Shoulders a lot over the years and like most of their shampoos , the clean and balanced one keeps the dandruff in check and helps with the itchy scalp. It'
Head and shoulders is definitely one of my go to haircare products that help manage my dandruff difficulties without drying my hair out.
I'm going to preface this by saying that I haven't had enough time to really see a change in my hair from this product, as I've only had it for 3 days.
The texture of this shampoo is really thick and lovely, and lathers really nicely in my hair. It rinses out very easily too, and my hair feels clean without being dehydrated afterwards. I have coloured hair (bright pink) and my main problem with anti-dandruff products is that they strip hair dye really badly. I found that this shampoo didn't strip my hair colour as much as other Head and Shoulders products have in the past, which is great and might lead me to switch over to using anti-dandruff products more frequently in the future. The scent isn't overpowering which is nice as I've found previous Head and Shoulders products to have a distinct strong smell which I associate with anti-dandruff products. I haven't really noticed any particular anti-dandruff effects but that's likely due to me washing my hair more frequently than usual for this review - my dandruff starts building up after a couple of days post-washing, and I had to wash my hair daily in order to review it, so I can't comment on that.
I'm not new to Head and Shoulders Shampoo but I normally choose the Smooth and Silky version. The shampoo is nice and thick with a slightly blue hue and a clean yet non descript fragrance (I couldn't pinpoint a particular top note but it's lovely and fresh). This is a great choice for men as it's not heavily scented but I was happy using it too. This shampoo arrived just as my scalp was beginning to feel a bit bumpy and itchy (normally a prelude to a dandruff outbreak). After the first use that inflammation had subsided and there was no visible dandruff. The bottle has the normal packaging with the blue and white and is easily recognisable. I normally use head and shoulders for a week or so when my dandruff flares before returning to my standard shampoo (one for lasting colour). But a bottle would last me about 2 weeks with continuous use. On ocassion I have used head and shoulders for more than three months and it always leaves my hair shiny and silky and my scalp flake free. I'd totally recommend this to anyone suffering from dandruff.
Tips: I have never repeated application of the shampoo in the same wash but I do tend to leave it on for at least two minutes before washing out.
I only needed the size of a checker piece in my hand to wash my hair, the formula is thick so do not have to add more shampoo to make sure its clean. Love the feel of it the softness and left my hair soft to the touch.
The Head and Shoulders Clean & Balanced Shampoo comes in the traditional Head and Shoulders blue and white packaging. The product itself is a white colour and flows in a good consistency. It has an inoffensive fruity smell, not overpowering but fresh.
While I only had a short period of time to trial this product, I found it did eliminate my itchy scalp and minimise the dandruff.
It left my hair feeling soft and full of moisture, and did not appear tp strip any colour from my heavily colour treated hair.
I didn't have to use a lot of product, although I did (as I always do) two shampoos as I feel the first cuts through any greasiness and the second cleans. As a supermaket prodcut with price point accordingly, it would seem to be an affordable option that lasts.
Tips: You do not need to use a lot of product at a time to achieve clean hair.
I suffer chronic dandruff, with my long hair I cannot figure out why! This arrived in a clean labelled bottle that stands nicely in your shower, it’s circle on the front as part of its design corresponded well to the. Induction we version of it and forms a complete picture :) Easy to use flip style lid which clips and locks down means spillage won’t happen. Easy to pour into your hand; this smells, better than normal dandruff shampoo and is a smoother thicker liquid, it lathers up well and rinses out nicely, Does leave your hair a little rough so you will need to follow with a conditioner afterwards. Your hair doesn’t have the normal smell of dandruff shampoo but it certainly feels cleaner.
Tips: Don’t spill on the floor of shower! Leaves a residue that can be slippery..
First impressions about the shampoo was the delicious smell! It smells divine, and on squeezing it out of the bottle it was really thick and creamy.
Given the length of my hair I go through a lot of shampoo and conditioner, so how thick the shampoo was meant I didn't have to use as much as I normally would.
The shampoo lathers really well, and my hair did actually feel cleaner than it does with my normal shampoo.
This is sadly where the praise ends though. When I washed the shampoo out, my hair felt like a tangled, clumped together, straw-like mess. I couldn't get my fingers through it to wash the shampoo out properly, so had to rely on just rinsing. Thank goodness for conditioner!
After using it twice I also noticed my hair was itchier than before trialing the product.
Although I'm sure this would be a fantastic product for hair that's not like mine, I'd not purchase it myself.
Thanks to BR for sending me this to review. This has regular Head and Shoulders packaging, but it feels sufficiently robust to withstand dropping it in the shower a couple of times. The scent of this product is really nice, and it's quite unisex, so no worries about smelling 'girly' if that's not what you're into- my partner didn't mind using it either!
This lathered really well, and left my hair feeling really clean, but not dry. I have been previously been using the neutrogena T-Gel for my scalp, as I get some flaking and itching, but this could well be a replacement contender. It has controlled my flakes, and hasn't left me itchy, so it's a win for me.
