Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner Review

I can't be the only one, but when i buy a shampoo, I instinctively buy the matching conditioner. It is just something ingrained in me that I can't change, so when i brought the shampoo , i had to buy this conditioner as well.

This conditioner comes in a similar bottle to the shampoo except it sit upside down. The bottle is blue in colour, and has a smooth shape which makes it easy to hold. The lid flip up which you push one end (like the see-saw), and the little hole makes it easy to push out just the right amount of product. Although when the bottle is getting empty, i find it really hard to push the product out and actually need to use two hands.

The conditioner is pale blue in colour, and is slight thick but its not very creamy. Its not lavishly thick, and doesn't feel lavish when applying it to my hair, so nothing special in that sense.

The reason why I like this conditioner is because of the coconut smell. Yumo, something about coconut just makes me so happy.

This conditioner does an okay job, when my hair is wet is detangles my hair easily, and washes out nicely leaving no heavy residue. However, it doesn't condition my hair as well as other products, and leaves it looking soft, but messy. It just can't seem to tame and hold my hair's natural curl.

Personally, this conditioner doesn't do much for me. But I love the smell. I might have this in my cupboard as a back up, but its not something i overly enjoy using (other than the smell), and it doesn't do a whole lot to my hair either.

For some reason, this conditioner is amazing for my hair for the first week and then it's like it stops having as much effect.

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner comes in a bright blue bottle, with a picture of the primary scent (coconut) on the modern-looking label. The dispenser is at the base, making it easy to extract the product.

The conditioner is a creamy pale blue, with a mid-thick consistency and a delicious coconut fragrance that is subtle but distinct.

I find that the conditioner, in that magic week, moves through my hair well, but then it seems to stop having the same effect, and start dragging a little.

Initially it softens my hair beautifully and leaves it silky and awesome, but then it starts to have less and less effect. My hair then knots more and gets tangled easily.

I have bought this a few times but I tend to just use it occasionally because that way I seem to get the best benefits from it. I have other conditioners that simply suit my hair better. The hydration claims of the product really are hit or miss, for me, unfortunately!

The fragrance is lovely though!

I abolutly LOVE this product!!

First impresion is i love the colour of the bottle and the conditioner its self is a similar colour, plus i was interested to try a shampoo/ conditioner with coconut in it and even better when its for dry hair.

I was begining to get a little worried about how dry and horible my hair was fealing latley until i discovered this at the supermarket and i have never noticed it before so I figured it was worth a try especially when it was on special for $3. The first time i tried it i was instantly wow'ed my hair felt so much softer and my ends didnt feel dry at all instead they felt amazing and soft.this along with the matching shampoo is my favourite at the moment.

Firstly, I really like the packaging. The colour is so bright and vibrant and the shape is so quirky and fun! Makes for a great addition in the shower. I also like the lid because it's easy to store upside down to get out the last bit of the product.

It comes out a medium thick consistency that smells absolutely delicious. The floral, Coconuty scent is so yummy and totally remindsme of summer, which is good for these dreary winter months. It also moisturises quite well and leaves my hair feeling silky soft and smooth. It can be a bit heavy, and my hair is prone to getting greasy faster than other conditioners, but I do like the scent and it works well enough that I just take it as a sign I need to stop being lazy and just wash my hair. Love this and because of the affordable price, I will definitely repurchase!

I have always loved this products for the scent most of all, but the packaging also appeals to me, however, I find that it does work at first at giving me clean feeling, soft, lovely smelling hair, but after a while, for some reason it stops working and I have to switch to another product for a while and come back. By saying it stops working, I mean I feel like it stops moisturising my hair and instead just makes it feel heavy, as if all the product is sitting on the top. I also think that for a product called “Hello Hydration”, it should be amazingly hydrating, but instead it’s just like any other conditioner in its price range. But despite my gripes with the product, because I am so in love with the scent and because of the low cost, I’m probably going to keep buying it.

First of all, this is worth buying purely for the scent. It's the perfect blend of coconut and floral and surprisingly doesn't smell at all artificial. Literally makes me feel like I'm an island goddess.

This conditioner performs really well! I have blonde hair that's 90% from a bottle and this helps to keep it under control (it's also long, thick and wavy, crappy combo). I do find I need something a bit thicker and heavier for my hair type but this does a really decent job on it's own.

I'm also in the camp that conditions my roots (bleach is up there too haha) but I do find that I need to be careful to really rinse it well from the upper third or so of my hair otherwise it can get a little greasy.

Definitely recommend this though and it does come in a deeper treatment version that I use to boost the moisturizing good-ness!

I bought this over the summer break because it was on special at the warehouse. I bought the larger bottles. Also, because in summer my hair gets dry and I wanted to try something that was hydrating. I was so happy that I did. My hair was so soft after every wash. And it smells great! Recently, we had a couple friend staying with us and they both said that their hair was soo soft after using this shampoo and conditioner - even the guy was impressed! The bigger bottles are great for at home, they did take up alot of room while I was on holiday but they do have the smaller bottles available which would travel easier. The packaging is really nice - love the blue. They are reasonably prices even when they are not on special. I will definately be purchasing again.

The hello hydration shampoo and conditioner are my favourite go-to hair care products because I love herbal essence and I LOVE how this smells and the scent lasts too!

After shampooing twice, I use a very generous amount of this conditioner and massage it all over. I know you're not supposed to condition your roots, but its so hard not to! Plus if you rinse properly, it shouldn't be a problem ;-)

As a conditioner, my hair always feels incredibly smooth after using. It untangles and moisturises very nicely and the price is pretty damn good if you ask me.

I always buy the matching set (I'm a stickler that way, no odd socks for me!) so it works out very reasonable on the pocket.

After drying I will often use a touch of dry shampoo on the top third of my hair as a grease precaution against little sweat drops sneaking in (after 40 minutes of blow drying I NEED to cool down!)

So I use this along with the matching shampoo as my regular hair care now. First of all they both smell absolutely incredible and I find on the days that I use both the scent really lingers in my hair so that people always comment on how good I smell when they hug me. The shampoo on its own really does an amazing job of making my hair soft, but I use this on those days where I want my hair to be extra soft, sleek and shiny. Hydrating is the perfect word to describe this conditioner, I don't think I've ever had such noticeable results from such an affordable brand before.
