Having naturally oily hair, this product was not quite right for me. After a double wash, the clean feeling only lasted 24 hours before it started to get limp and slightly oily again. This shampoo really does smell amazing, and the packaging is so gorgeous. The conditioner is thick and creamy. I wouldnt recommend this to anybody with oily hair but if you have dry hair, it would be perfect.

This smells lovely! I only needed to use a "normal" amount of shampoo and conditioner to get a good lather and good conditioner coverage. My natural blonde highlights were a lot blonder after using this shampoo 3 times! This left my hair very soft, so you will need a serum to tame flyways and that fluffy look.
TBH, this particular regime seems suited to people like me, who wash their hair once or twice a week. The company would have received more accurate reviews if they allowed a 2 - 3 week trial period. Washing with this every day was excessive and left my hair very fluffy. I would have liked to have a few days in between to allow my hair to settle down, so that i could give a more accurate review.
Tips: Use a serum or mousse after washing with this set of shampoos. It leaves hair lovely and soft but the downside is the flyaways!
This pair of products will definitely look great on your shower shelf! The bottles stand easily, and the taller, narrower shape allows them to fit well. Softer plastic makes it easy to squeeze the product out, and the different coloured bars on each bottle means they are easy to distinguish.
Both products are quite creamy in consistency, automatically making them feel like a higher quality product. They smell fresh, but not too intense. I found them to be soft and fairly easy to work into my hair. The shampoo lathers well, and the conditioner spreads nicely, although it is important to work it throughout all of the hair. The conditioner left my hair feeling soft and detangled, like it's been oil rinsed, even while I was still in the shower - which seems like a unique effect.
After using the pair together, without any other products, my hair has been feeling soft and the fresh smell lasted for a couple of days between washes too. Any areas where I didn't get the conditioner worked in did feel dry, but for the most part, it was very soft and smooth as advertised!
Personally, the scent isn't my favourite, and since the shampoo is just average in my opinion, I wouldn't choose to switch to these products permanently. However, if I couldn't access my regular conditioner for some reason, I would seriously consider using this conditioner as a temporary product.
Tips: Make sure you work the conditioner in well, it may mean using a little more product but the softness is worth it!
I found the shampoo had a pleasant fragrance ,it was creamy and lathered well and rinsed out well .
The bottle was easy to open and I liked I could easily spot the difference between the shampoo and conditioner as one was highlighted in red ,not something all these products have and as I wear glasses I can’t read in the shower so that was helpful .
Great to have a matching combo and found the conditioner worked well ,did as it stated and left my hair knot free .
My hair was left soft and reasonably managable ,it didn’t do anything outstanding for my hair as such so why I’ve rated it as I have ,however my scalp did not feel itchy as it sometimes does so that was a big plus ,it still seems a good product at a good price ,and I think I’d be happy to purchase it . I liked the big size bottles .
Tips: Use sparingly as lathers well so not a lot needed to achieve results, same with the conditioner .
I enjoyed using this creamy shampoo and conditioner combo and it left my hair feeling soft and smelling delicious. I was impressed by how clean the shampoo left my hair without completing drying it out. Before conditioner it felt smooth and tangle-free. I double wash to get my scalp really clean and it didn't feel ropey or dry on the second wash either. My hair drank the conditioner as it always does, but it felt so soft and moisturised when I rinsed after five or so minutes. I use quite a quantity of conditioner and whenever I try a different one I worry that my hair will feel nice in the shower, but weighed down and heavy as it dries. This was not the case with this Argan Oil one and that's a huge plus. I like the scent, it smells delicious but not overpowering, and the combined products really accentuate the layers of citrus, spice, and vanilla. It's great that you can buy a duo like this straight off the supermarket shelf for a really affordable price. I think the shampoo is great, and competes with more expensive brands. The conditioner is good, but for my hair type I really need something heavier and more moisturising. That's the only reason I gave this range 4/5 overall. If you have less dry hair, I'd say you'd be onto a winner!
Tips: Leave the conditioner on for as long as you can!
I really enjoyed this regime and will definitely be repurchasing. Easy to access and affordable and I am very pleased with my results. I normally only was my hair once a week (but occasionally, Will condition more than once a week). For the sake of the trial, I used the set 3 times this week. Because I have really curly hair, my hair was extremely fluffy! I did not like this. This was not because of the product, but because my hair is not used to being washed that often. In saying that, my hair was really soft and felt clean. I didn’t need to use that much product too, which is another positive. Smells great and is very light weight. I also have colour treated hair and did not notice any of the colour being stripped from my hair or fading. This is a great supermarket product, and would recommend giving this set a try.
Tips: I think going back to washing my hair once a week, I am going to see more better results. Would recommend to use both the shampoo and the conditioner to get the best results
This Herbal essences argan oil of Morocco regime is a really nice regime for my hair. I have never used Herbal Essences before so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I smelt the bottles I didn't love the smell; it was just ok. But I love how great my hair smells after it has been washed using this regime. Even my husband commented and he's not really one to notice that stuff! I also found that my hair felt really lovely and soft after using this regime and definitely softer than after using my normal shampoo and conditioner. I have reviewed the individual products separately so check out those reviews too but overall I'd really recommend this regime. Whilst I don't love the smell of the shampoo and conditioner on their own, this is really the only downside and the smell they leave in my hair is lovely.
Tips: You don't need heaps so the bottles should last quite a while
Applying both the shampoo and conditioner in this set, felt like a dream! I was so surprised at how soft it instantly made me hair feel, and was to spread through my hair! My hair is very thick and can be a workout to wash so was very happy with how quick and easy it was to use these products. I didn't need too much product, the smell wasn't over powering, and my hair didn't feel gross and/or dry afterwards!
Picked these up in the vault. Enjoy using them both as a combo. They both smell amazing, which is an experience all on its own. The shampoo gently cleanses without stripping my hair or leaving it squeaky. The conditioner is nice and thick. Almost like a conditioning mask. I like to leave it in for a bit longer. Hair is left feeling super soft. My husband also enjoys using this combo.
400ml bottles they both last a long time. Would definitely repurchase in future.
This review is on the Herbal Essences Bio-Renew Repair Shampoo and Conditioner regime with argan oil. I received this shampoo and conditioner to review (thanks BeautyReview!!). I have placed separate reviews for the shampoo, conditioner, and product regime as a whole.
My hair is fine, straight, a little on the dry / dehydrated side, and has some damage but isn't terrible.
The packaging is an attractive teal colour with pretty floral designs on it, I think it's going to look great in my bathroom. It's the typical Herbal Essences design with a flip-top lid that's easy to open and securely close.
The shampoo is white and pearlescent, with a light fresh smell (reminds me a bit of Radox). It's a nice thick texture and easy to dispense. It works up to a generous lather and rinses out easily. My hair felt clean and light after rinsing.
The conditioner is white and opaque, with a light fresh smell (reminds me a bit of Radox). It's a nice thick texture and easy to dispense. The conditioner spread easily through my hair, and felt light on application, but required two thorough rinses to get it all washed out. My hair felt a bit lifeless after rinsing.
Ultimately after drying my hair I felt that my hair was limp and dull. On repeat use I found the same thing. Unfortunately this product system did not work well for my hair so I wouldn't purchase it in future.
