I love this highlighter, has a nice creamy texture and goes on smooth, This does have a big shimmer factor which im not a huge fan of but this one is a nice non over the top product. I paid $3 from iherb or im sure they retail for $5 at kmart. Cute wee pink bottle and easy to use tip, this makes a staple highlighter in any ones beauty kit.

For $3 I think this is worth a try for anyone I got the shade lilac petal. It is a lovely highlighter to a few dabs on the cheeks looks amazing (if you use your finger and not a brush) but I much prefer to add this to my foundation and mix it in to create a nice illuminated look in your foundation nice simple easy cheap product that I cant wait to try more shades in. Simple little tube packaging with a white twist lid simple but works perfect.
This product is brilliant for starting out with high lighting and creating definition, I mainly use it on the bridge of my nose, brow bone, cheeks and cupids bow, I find using my finger rather than a brush helps it warm into my skin and create a dewy, shimmery highlighted look. For a cheapie its great ! I would repurchase !
Tips: Use your fingers when blending.
I picked one up randomly from Kmart, I bought Lilac Petal and really didn't know what to do with it at first! Then, as my make up skills developed I found it to be an amazing highlight.. it does have quite a thick consistency, and is difficult to blend out but it once you get the hang of it, for $3, it's an amazing product! I've got the rest of the colours on its way from iHerb, can't wait to try them all!
Tips: Take a small amount of product on your ring finger, and dot it on your cheekbones, brow bone bridge of your nose and cupids bow, and start warming the product up by blending with the same finger :)
When i first got this product i absolutely hated it, its very thick and can be hard to spread. however i soon realised how to use it properly. the trick is to only use a small amount, use the tips of your fingers to dab it into the skin, don't rub! i use it on my cheekbones and sometimes on the bridge of my nose. the lighter the facial whip the better i have found, the darker colours look kind of overdone and very fake.
Tips: Use when you are going out at night as the light catches it and it makes your skin really glow!
I really like this product especially if I'm going for a dewy look. Its really nice and bright and pretty. My only complaint is that its quite hard to apply. Can be quite stiff and sticky and hard to blend
Tips: Use your fingers to apply this bad boy
I was really nervous about trying this as it has such mixed reviews. But it was $3 at kmart so why not! I was actually really pleasantly surprised. The stickyness is not that big of deal, the warmth of your finger blends the product out fine. It provides such a nice sheen, i like to use it on my cheekbones, nose and occasionally my cupids bow, and lasts all day.
I bought this today from k-mart first of all was $3 not $3.99 as stated in the description above. First impressions was the bottle is very simple and elegant only thing i'm disappointed with is the size of the bottle is absolutely tiny. Would be good for travel size, although for the price you can't complain. The colour was lilac petal. The colour is faint with a slight hint of pink and shimmer. I wouldn't recommend this colour for a tanned skinned as would not look natural. As we know that is defeating the purpose of having the beautiful natural glow. The consistency is thicker then the australis version which i prefer as you get more of a shimmer. It blends well and definitely lasts. One thing I love with this product is how it does not remove the foundation underneath which the Australis does and I refuse to use the other one. Definitely would recommend buying for $3 is amazing!! You can pick up from online stores for $1 on the elf USA website.
Tips: Apply dabs from the fingers onto upper check bones blend slightly with finger and then blend the remaining with a brush to get that flawless finish. Be careful not to blend down below the check bone which will just highlight your whole checks and not illuminate your check bones.
This product confuses me little as it says that it is a highlighter- whereas to me it is more a blusher.
I got this in Pink Lemonade which is a great colour as a blusher for someone with fair skin. I find that this is a product that should be treated very carefully- you don't want to use too much or you may end up with a bit of a clown face. I find for best application, I squeeze a small amount onto my hand and then dab it slightly around my hand to even out the amount I have on my finger. I then apply to my face by dabbing and building up colour as I feel I need to.
It is a slightly sticky/tacky formula however once applied on the skin and dried, you don't notice this
While this is a good poduct, I prefer powder blush in terms of application. I will continue to use this product though as long as this tube lasts me (which will be a while as you only use a small amount)
For the money you spend (a total of $3 at Kmart) the Elf Shimmering Facial Whip is great. I usually apply just before my blush, warming it up between two fingers then patting and blending it along the top of my cheek bone and a bit beneath my eye area. It does exactly what it says and looks like it does, with a shimmery sheer appearance with a slight pink. Will repurchase due highly to it's easy availability, great price and the fact that it does what I want it too. Definitely isn't a high end product so if your looking for something of higher quality with better blendability, then this one's probably not for you.
Tips: Don't apply to areas, such as the t-zone, that get oily as it will amplify it.
