Glasshouse Triple Scented Candles

I purchased the full sized Coconut and Lime Glasshouse candle as a treat - a luxurious, highly scented and beautiful candle to light over the winter. The scent is fresh, sweet and powerful. Even lifting the lid off without lighting the candle fills the room with a lovely scent. This candle has two wicks which creates a very cosy feel in the room.

I am disappointed in the way that this candle burns. Despite letting it burn for a particularly long time on first use, it burns unevenly and not completely to the edges. This means that I am going to be left with a lot of excess wax around the edges of the candle. Often, one of the wicks will go out, leaving only one burning. There is no breeze around to make this happen and I have never had this trouble with other candles.

The scent is the best part about this candle; however, it is not enough to make me repurchase it. With quite a high price point, I will stick to other brands that are better quality with a lower price.

am Obsessed with it! Full on tahaa addict! Will forever repurchase, always have one on display in the house/ in stock pile! Fell in love with it from the first time I smelt it in peter Alexander. The scent is very strong but in a good way. smells like fresh baked goods but better! after lighting it doesn’t take long for it’s delicious aroma to linger throughout the whole house and stays for hours, I find it has a great burn time and scent pay off for its price tag. Tahaa Is totally luxurious and puts me in a good mood!

I have wanted this candle forever! Knowing I wouldn't get anything for Mother's Day... I decide to treat myself and so I brought some pajamas from Peter Alexander and added this delight to my order. This scent has always drawn me to this store when walking by... I can smell the deliciousness a mile off.. if you haven't smelt it you don't know what your missing.. pounding those isles at Riccarton mall the first time I smelt this I had to follow that scent and find out what was responsible. I brought the smallest size as we are saving but it burns slowly and the smell captivates the whole house. Everyone was asking what I was baking and wanted a piece.. but the only thing I was burning was the candle. I got so many compliments and questions about this wee gem.. it was worth the money and my partner didn't even ask "how much did you spend?" as I think he was loving the scent more than I. I would describe the scent as reminiscent of caramel/vanilla/caramilk.. good enough to eat.

I got this candle for Christmas after I had dropped a few no so subtle hints. It comes in a clear glass jar with 2 wicks and smells absolutely delicious. If you’ve ever walked past a Peter Alexander store and noticed an amazing aroma wafting out, this is it. It burns slowly so although the Glass House candles aren’t cheap ($50+) they are well worth the money as they last for ages. Even just keeping the lid of the jar for 20 minutes leaves a beautiful scent in the air. This is definitely a strong fragrance and reminds me a lot of caramel yoghurt. If you love sweet smells then this is the candle for you.

Imagine sitting by a fire on a cold night with soft fluffy socks on and a cup of hot chocolate watching greys anatomy and your hunky boyfriend is baking cookies in the kitchen topless. Do I need to say anything else? You need this in your life. It is honestly the most beautiful candle I've ever purchased and I will continue to re purchase. They certainly aren't joking with the triple scented because you only need to burn this baby for 10 minutes and your house in filled with delicious caramelness.

My son gifted me this gorgeous candle for Christmas last year (2016)! I got a shock to see it, knowing how pricey it would have been. But I hadn't used one quite like before (as much as I love candles, I baulk at spending that much money on one!) so I was keen to see if the cost was worth it. IT SO IS!!!!

Firstly the scent is to die for. I love caramel and the smell is very caramelly. I light it in my bedroom and the scent flows through my hallway and into the bathroom and the other bedrooms - fabulous!

It's lasted all this time because I've been lighting it for short times, letting the scent go through the house, then blowing it out again. This way I've been able to keep it for ages and scent the house beautifully when I needed a lift or when I have had guests. I still have around two short lights left in it and I'll really miss it when it goes!!

I love this candle and have repurchased it. It comes in a thick glass jar with an airtight glass lid. The large size has two wicks.

The fragrance is a strong and delicious caramel that's not overly sweet - it has rich notes of burnt sugar and vanilla to balance out the sweetness and does not smell chemically at all. The fragrance easily fills a large room and lingers after extinguishing.

Love it and will keep repurchasing.

Side note: Guys also like this scent as I used to burn it before my boyfriend came over to my house in our early stages of dating, he used to always comment on how good my room smelled. And now whenever we smell it it reminds us of our early days :)

I personally am not a overall fan of the scent as it’s too sweet and strong for my nostrils, but I thing this is the perfect thing to gift a friend or purchase yourself if it’s the scent for you!!!

This candle literally makes your entire car smell good from inside the box on the trip from the shop to your door, it’s super strong and lasts!! The price is slightly on the expensive side, but for a candle that has 80hr burning time and smells the way it does, it makes sense!

This candle is perfect for bringing they sweet aroma to your room/ house and will leave guests questioning!!

Glasshouse is my all-time favourite candle brand as they have the most amazing scented candles I have ever smelt. The Rio de Janerio scent is by far my favourite on in their collection. I have it in both the Candle and the room diffuser and I never want to be without that scent in my house. It smells very tropical and summery, almost makes you feel like you're on holiday. It is very relaxing and the pretty thing to accompany a Lush-filled bath. You all need this in your life!

I was gifted this candle for my birthday and boy was I stoked! The smell is soooooo devine. It even smells amazing when it is not lit. Vanilla/Caramel goodness....what is not to love! I wish I could bathe in the smell.

The price is quite steep and I was quite surprised when I saw how much they cost but with 80 hours burn time and the most amazing scent I could justify going out and buying one.

Would make a lovely gift for someone special. I get so many compliments on how good my house smells. Love it :-)
