This is more of a thick cream than I balm. I use it even for my skin. It has a nice honey scent that is not too strong. The cream is a little thick but that helps to provide a good barrier. I use it around his diaper area whenever I change him and I have also been using it around his nose because he's been having a runny nose and the tissues are not doing so good on his soft skin! He seems to like it and it is certainly helping!

Tips: A little goes a long way, you only need a little bit if you use it anywhere on the body, but with the diaper area, you can use a little bit more.
This barrier cream works wonders for my little ones nappy rash. Such a comforting product that does not seem to irritate my little one at all. It has definitely left the nappy area looking hydrated and not sore looking at all. I noticed such a huge improvement in her nappy area after just a couple of uses.
I didn't hesitate using this product given that it contains so many natural ingredients - some of my favourites such as Avocado/Coconut oils and also Rosehip! As you can imagine these scents combined with Manuka honey makes this product smell and feel amazing. I really love the natural scent, not overpowering at all.
The barrier cream absorbs into the skin nicely too and feels lovely and light to apply, not super thick and greasy.
Such a reasonable price, and this barrier cream is sure to last a really long time as you only need to apply a little bit to the nappy area.
Love that this is a NZ made product also.
Tips: A beautiful present for a new mum, nothing beats a beautiful NZ made product.
The day we received our trial was the day my daughter came home from daycare with a tummy bug, perfect time to put the cream to the test as there were lots more nappies to change in the days ahead. I love the consistency of the cream, its easy to rub in and it doesn't pull at the skin, i find some barrier creams are quite stiff and you need to really rub it in which isn't ideal when the area is sensitive. The tub is a good size and a little bit goes a long way. Lovely scent, not over powering. Definitely will purchase again once i know where i can get it from
Tips: I actually used it on my hands as i have gotten abit of dermatitis on my fingers from washing powder and a couple of days using this it went away. So it's really an over all balm
This cream smells amazing, the same honey fragrance as rest of the range. The texture is creamy and moisteriser like.
Unlike many creams it's not zinc based so haven't noticed stains. It is however long lasting and provides a barrier overnight.
Baby didn't flinch on application on raw nappy rash so is very gentle.
This stuff is fantastic as a hand cream, makes my hands super soft. I highly recommend the brand promote this or even sell it as a hand cream.
Tips: In case of severe diaper rash, use over a medicated cream
The cream is smoothe but I found it slightly sticky. It was very effective- after the first time applying it at night, the redness was mostly gone in the morning. Like the other products in his range, it uses natural products which is great. Especially for nappy rash as you don’t want the skin to break down. I found other product have transferred to the nappy and the redness therefore took longer to heal. However this product only transferred minimally which I believe lead to faster healing. I do find that the price of this product is fair.
This is a awesome product an i love it. I have been using this on my 3 year old son who has eczema for just over a week, and i have found it has done wonders. It has a very slight scent an is very thick which i like. It holds moister to the skin an has helped alot. It is NZ made with 100% natural ingredients YAY. I will continue to use this on him as its working wonders, an i dont have anything bad to say about it.
Tips: It is very thick but a little goes a long way.
This product feels great on the skin and I really loved the smell of it too. It's not too thick like some barrier creams and I found if was easy to apply to baby s bum.
Tips: A little goes a long way.
Subtle, gentle smelling creme thats non greasy and long lasting. I used this in my daughters nappy area, under her nose and on my eczema and really liked it. I've tried lots of barrier creams and a lot of the leave heavy and greasy residue on the skin and don't smell very nice. The packaging is fine, easy to open tub - but not too easy for little ones to get into! I'll be continuing to use this creme as I really think it works well to protect skin in a gentle way while also supporting a Kiwi business
The scent of this barrier cream is a nice, mild honey scent. It's a very smooth, almost vaseline like texture cream, quite different to the nappy creams I have been using recently. You don't need much of this barrier cream because once it's on it does spread quite far. This cream comes in a tub which means you have to put your fingers in each time to get it out, this might not be the most hygenic way of doing it since your mid nappy change when you use it. I would prefer if it was in a squeezy tube. The packaging design is quite nice otherwise and it has a lot of information on it. As a barrier cream I find this works quite well. Because this cream is natural and has Manuka honey in it I am more willing to put this on at every nappy change. I try and avoid having excess product on her skin if I can help it. If my baby is already a little bit red this cream doesn't help her heal as quickly as others I have used but as a barrier cream it does exactly what it should. This barrier cream is made in New Zealand which is a huge drawcard for me. I prefer to buy NZ made skin care by far. The product is 100% natural too, it's something I look for in my own skincare but is especially important in skin care for my baby. This barrier cream is lovely, does what it says and is a good price, definitely something I would repurchase!
This product was given to me as a gift when I had my son who was 8 weeks prem. I used the barrier cream on his sensitive skin from a few weeks old and it was amazing. It did what it says it does and smells really nice aswel.
