A beautiful poppy-ish shade with peach/warm undertones. I love this shade so much. Buildable, blendable. I like to apply this with a duo fibre brush so I can work up the colour to a nice healthy glow (because that's the point of blush, right?)
Sure, the Hourglass ALB's are expensive, but they're worth the money. Even the packaging feels very luxe :)
It is no secret that I love Hourglass products. I feel like their products are made to enhance natural beauty, and sometimes that is what I am after. After loving so many of their other products I knew I needed this as soon as it came out. Then I saw the Ambient Lighting Blush Palette and I knew I needed it. So this year as I saw it starting to run out on a lot of sites I nabbed it straight of the SpaceNK website. It wasn't the cheapest place to get it but I just needed it.
The packaging is the high end that you would expect. It is in a shiny golden sleek palette that is quite long. The blushes inside are smaller than the usual ones but still big enough to fit your blush brush into without touching all of them at once. It feels very sturdy which is great. There is a small mirror inside the lid as well, although I'm sure I'll never use it.
All the blushes are marbeled in effect and in this you get the shades Luminous Flush (Brighter Pink with Gold), Incandescent Electra (Peachey Pink with a soft cooler pink), Mood Exposure (Mauvey shades). With the wide range of these shades I really feel like for natural blush shades I will never need to buy another blush again. I love that you can just do a light swipe or build up the colour. They all leave a very natural healthy glow across the cheeks which I love. I do find that because of the natural finish they do start to fade on me by the end of the day and would need a touch up at the end of the work day to get them back to the original shade. But because they are so beautiful I don't really mind, also a great product to take travelling as you have a whole lot of blush looks all in one palette.
