Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor Review

Sooo I had to get this the other day. My hair dresser recommended it as they have stopped selling my favourite conditioner :(

Anyway, it is pretty good. It definitely makes your hair very soft and in much better condition. Although it is quite hard for me to tell because my hair isn't extremely damaged anymore.

Its very strong. So you only need to use a little bit, she said as much as a ten cent piece. I never really pay attention to them when they say that but it really is all that you need. It is very thick, another review said that they put a little bit of water with it to make it runnier which I think I will do next time I use it. Just to make it distribute a bit easier.

The thing with this is I absolutely hate the smell!! I see other reviewers have said it smells nice like bananas, but I think it smells like rotten bananas mixed with chemicals! Maybe I am being a bit oversensitive but I hate the smell!

Its also reasonably cheap considering what it does to your hair which is a bonus.

I have treated blonde hair, so my hair is in quite a dry damaged condition. I received a 50ml size of this, so I had about 3 uses out of this tube. I really found my hair was noticeable softer and less frizzy after use. I used them a week apart as it is a conditioning treatment. My only gripe was the smell. It has a strong chemically banana smell that I found hard to get used to. My hair didn't smell like rotten bananas afterwards, thank goodness!

One of my absolute favourite beauty products! It is such a life saver for damaged, frizzy hair, especially when teamed with the intense hydrator afterwards. I get complements on how soft and shiny my hair is when I use this duo, which has never happened with other products. I find it also really helps after i've straightened or curled my hair to reverse the effects. I also love the banana lolly type scent!

Years ago my hair was fried. Literally fried. So much breakage. It was dry frizzy and unmanageable. A hairdresser sold me this right after she chopped off all my hair. I am continuously let down by false claims, not this time. My hair definately loved this and is much more healthier now

Love this product. Have found it to be the one product that helps restore my dull, curly frizz prone hair. It has a amazing scent, and you don't need a lot to actually feel and see the benefits to your hair. I straighten my hair regularly and this product is great for restring it. It leaves my hair feeling smooth and soft with shine. Well worth a try if your hair needs some love.

My hair loves this! Its a must have if your hair is feeling dry, dull and is in need of some care.

I really liked this when my hair was badly damaged. It worked much better with a hot towel over it for 10 mins and then wash it out rather than just a few minutes in the shower. Also it smelt nice was a really good consistency and not much product was needed. I however got a really dry scalp using Joico products, so not the shampoo for me.

I'm a big fan of buying salon hair products and joico is a brand I've used many times. I don't have much luck with a lot of products I try but joico deep penetrating reconstructor worked really well and has been one of my all time favs! I have extremely coarse, dry, damaged hair and this always left it a lot softer and smoother then usual. The smell is Devine!! Gorgeous stand out packaging. I think the price is fair considering it seemed to do what it said it would.

I have just full head bleached my hair for the second time in 3 years and I was in desperate need for a treatment, my hairdresser recommended this product (shes also a friend so wasn't just trying to make commission). I have noticed a huge difference since using it I have noticed much less hair fall in the shower. It also didn't make my hair feel greasy at the top as I expected it to. I did notice when my hair was dry it felt quite rough and dry but after researching I discovered this is normal when putting protein back in your hair.

I enjoyed using this alongside the Kpak shampoo and conditioner. I love how it smells and felt luxurious to use. It left my hair feeling soft and more manageable (sounds cliche I know, but I don't know how else to describe it!).
