Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream Review

The Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream claims to address key signs of aging including loss of elasticity, lines, wrinkles and uneven texture. While I’m not convinced (as yet) of the effectiveness of these anti-aging properties, since I started using this product (as part of a routine along with two other Kiehl’s products twice per day) my skin is definitely feeling plumper and my complexion looks much fresher after looking atrocious with spots, dryness and uneven skin tone following the winter.

The pot seems on the small side (50ml) especially given it’s price ($98) but it’s quite whipped in texture so you only need a little so the product should last quite a while, even when you’re using it very regularly. The cream glides on like butter and layers on nicely over serums and other creams, but does sit on the skin a while and take some time to absorb. I’ve been applying liquid foundation over it which probably tends to mix in a bit when I’m in a rush, but the product is massively hydrating and that lasts all day.

The smell is nice but unusual due to the botanicals which include Jasmonic Acid and Beech Tree Extract as well as the magic Hyaluronic Acid. The only real downside of the cream is the container – one with a pump is my preference and having had breakouts the last few months I’m sure dipping my fingers into the jar and spreading bacteria each time will do me no favours!

Love the smell and the fact that not much product is needed as this spreads well. I can most definitely see my skin looks norished and is soft to the touch.

Use sparingly as too much can feel heavy on the skin and becomes oily after a while.

Absolutely love the smell.

I was really excited to trial the Kiehl’s Multi-Corrective Cream. I am in my 70s and my skin after winter is dry and needs a hydration boost. Added to this I have pigmentation on my face which contributes to an uneven skin tone. The cream contains Vitamin A and includes beech tree extract, jasmonic acid and hyaluronic acid (the holy grail of hydration). Vitamin A has been proven to improve the appearance of ageing skin by stimulating cell production, lightening brown spots and reversing sun and environmental damage. The cream is in a purple jar with clear product information and usage directions. Ingredients are listed on a separate piece of paper attached to the bottom of the jar. Unfortunately there is no spatula to scoop the cream from the pot making it a bit unhygienic. The cream itself is white and thick. It has a light herbal scent - possibly the beech tree extract, which doesn’t linger after application. I apply the cream at night after my cleansing, toning, serum routine. It’s easy to put on and melts into my skin. After leaving for 5 minutes there is usually a residue which I then massage in. This is a really nice face cream but I think some people, unless you have dry skin, would find its consistency a bit oily. My dry skin lapped it up. The next morning my skin felt hydrated and intensely nourished. The texture of my skin was definitely softened. I have been using this cream with the Kiehl’s Vitamin C Corrective Dark Spot Solution and the Kiehl’s Vitamin C Line Reducing Serum. Using the cream as part of a regime has enhanced its potential and my skin overall shows real improvement. I can see results of a more even skin tone and radiance. Firmness and lift are a bit subjective but my skin glows and looks healthy. Unfortunately I still have pigmentation although its seems a bit lighter. I have been using the cream for 20 days and to be fair there hasn’t been enough time to combat the environmental damage. I am pleased with the results and will continue to use.

I purchased some Kiehl's products from Farmers and also received this moisturiser in a free gift set. It comes in a cute purple jar with a screw top lid. Thick white cream that glides onto skin and sinks in well. My skin was hydrated and soft. Wrinkles slightly blurring and non irritating for sensitive skin. My face looked more refreshed and glowing. Slight scent, this product is at the high end of pricing, but I would consider purchasing because it's value for money.

I have been using this twice a day, layering over the top of lIne Reducing Concentrate, then the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution. This is rich and creamy, yet firming on my skin. Super moisturising, which my skin needs. The last step in my skincare routine. Makeup goes on beautifully afterwards. Again, I am looking forward to seeing results after a few more weeks of my three step Kiehl's routine :)

I don't normally like using "cream" as they can be too much for my combination oily skin. To my surprise this lightly scented cream feels light and it doesn't break me out. The consistency sits between a lotion and a cream.

It glides easily on my skin and very quickly absorbed, I can apply my foundation straight away. A very good point as I'm always rushing out of the door in the mornings.

I noticed the dehydrated part of my skin looks better so I will keep using this cream. Like the rest of Kiehls products I'm trialing, I think I would need to use it longer to see if it improves my skin. Definitely slathering it on my dehydrated neck.

The only thing I dislike from this product is the packaging. I wondered if I contaminated the cream everytime I stick my finger on it and if the potency of the ingredients are diminished everytime it's exposed to the air.

This purple pottle contains a beautiful, lush cream that hydrates and softens skin after just one use.

I'm not a huge fan of the pottle format, I prefer a tube or pump, they feel more hygenic to me.

I've noticed my skin has been definitely firmer as well as smoother and softer. I have no dry patches at all either, which is unusual for me, I'm usually battling at least one at any given time!

The most marked difference has been on my neck, I no longer feel all gobble-gobble with a turkey neck! I mean, its not cured it and I could be kidding myself, but I think it looks so much better!

I've only marked it down as I'd like to give it longer to properly judge the impact on all areas of my skin.

Kiehl's Super Multi-corrective cream promises to firm, lift, smooth, boost radiance, even out skin texture and enhance a healthy complexion. The product contains hyaluronic acid, jasmonic acid and beech tree extract.  Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the human body and excellent for hydration and tissue recovery. Beech tree extract firms and plumps and jasmonic acid helps with elasticity and to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines. The cream itself is light coloured and thick, absorbs beautifully and has an excellent hydrating effect.  I love the smell - slightly medicinal, lightly scented and fresh. Kiehl's Super Multi-corrective cream feels like a firming cream.  It has a creamy texture and feels a little heavier than most day creams but it still penetrates like a much lighter cream.  I like that it contains no oil - so it is nourishing without being comedogenic and it doesn't make my skin oily.  My skin feels plumped and nourished after applying this lovely cream.  I didn't experience any irritation or sensitivity.  I believe that with long term use, it will fulfil all the promises made on the jar. The cream doesn't come with SPF, so I mainly use it at night. It can obviously be used during daytime, but it will be safest to add at least a SPF30 sunscreen before venturing outside.  The product is nicely presented in a solid purple glass jar.   It doesn't have a scoop, so I use my own because I don't like dipping my fingers into a pot with cream for hygiene reasons.   This is a lovely product and although it is pricey I will repurchase and recommend to friends and family.
