Kiehl's Vital Skin-Strengthening Super Serum Review

Another beautifully refreshing Kiehls product, it truly deserves to have the word super in its title. I love putting this on morning and night, the product itself seems to stay lovely and cool in its little red glass bottle and it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and soft. I find three pumps of the product sufficient to do my face and neck with the serum disappearing almost instantly into my skin. It has a lovely hint of cucumbers to it which just adds to it whole refreshing feel. Straight after using my skin feels soft and smooth and I have little doubt that with continuous use I would see a reduction in some of my fine lines. I feel the 30ml bottle would last me approximately 2 months which makes this product slightly more expensive then I would normally buy but if I do see reduction in lines and to continue having my skin feel as soft as it currently does I think I'd pay it. Overall love this product it truly feels like a little bit of luxury and if it continues to improve my skin texture I can see myself buying a replacement when it complete.

Thank you for giving me the chance to try this product, im really enjoying it and i think im seeing results. Love the small but not too small packaging, i find most serums are in tiny little jars and hard to get out but this is a generous size and a good pump and you only need the one pump for your face and neck, it has a slight scent maybe a little chemical but its nothing too strong. Its a nice light texture and a little runny so goes on nice and even and i find absorbs super quick. I leave for a minute or two and then apply the moisturiser. I Think after the first couple of days i noticed a few of my finer lines have smoothed out or disappeared and im liking this product as it leaves your face feeling so nice and soft and used in conjunction with the toner and moisturiser its really nice. A great combo.

This is a nice natural serum that feels lovely when going on the skin. I have very oily skin and though I have a couple of lines, I definitely don’t think I struggle with the appearance of ‘aging’, but I don’t get quite enough sleep and my skin can sometimes look quite dull. When I used this in the evening, the next morning my skin was GLOWING and looked so much brighter. I didn’t notice it really helping minimise the appearance of my lines however, but maybe if I tried using it long-term. It’s a kind of gooey but runny texture, and looks a little questionable haha. The smell is kind of weird, like strong carrots?? I think this would be best suited for people who struggle with dull looking skin, or who need something to look more fresh-faced

I was excited to try this product as I've heard a lot about hyaluronic acid and its benefits lately. I also have quiet tired and stressed skin, so thought this would offer a good boost! It didn't disappoint. The serum is quite liquid-y and you don't need much to get good coverage of your skin. It glides on and immediately gave my skin a tightening and smoothing feeling. I used the product after my oil cleanse and then the Kiehls calendula toner at night time which seemed to provide a really good clean base. I then used it after cleansing in the morning. I noticed a reduction in some of my enlarged pores and also a much more bright appearance in my skin over the fortnight I used the serum. The only downside for me was the smell - I didn't find it off-putting, but I wouldn't say it was the best thing I've ever smelled either. That's only a very minor critique however. I liked the packaging and the pump bottle - it made for no mess, no fuss application. Will certainly continue to use as I can see benefits and results after only a pretty short time.

First off, I love the simple packaging where all the information about the product is there and you dont have to go looking elsewhere for it. The scent is nice and subtle which is always favoured (personally) for facial serums. Texture is quite odd, super liquidy but a little goes a long way.

I love the way it left my skin feeling. Soft and supple

This is a really nice, lightweight, hydrating serum. I used this as my night serum, and after about a week or so I really noticed that in the morning my skin would feel so much more hydrated and look really glowy. My skin can lean a little oily/combo, so I can be wary of products that claim to be super hydrating, but I didn't notice this product exacerbating that at all which was great. The product claims to reduce the visible signs of ageing, and I haven't noticed many of those effects yet, however it usually takes months of using a product before it's long-term effects can be seen!

So I always thought lotions and potions are a have and we are stuck with the skin we’ve got. This serum is wonderful! Lemmie start at the beginning! First of all the bottle is a cute little bottle that looks all official. The pump is fantastic for dispensing just the right amount of product. The serum goes on so easily and evenly and the smell is so fresh. It made my skin feel amazing. Not greasy and I could even wear it under my make up. But the real amazing thing was the difference it has made in my skin. I have terrible “turkey neck” as my sister puts it, where the skin on my neck is wrinklier than my face, and I swear this serum has reduced this by at least 25% so my neck looks so much less like a raisin! Easy to use and does what it says - fabulous!

The serum comes in a small pump bottle. The consistency is semi thick and light with s natural scent.

To use, simply apply acouple of pumps to your face and neck.

I have been using morning and night, I have found my skin to be less oily and alot of my fine lines are disappearing which is great and I would definitely recommend this product.

Use in conjunction with the toner and moisturizer.

I received a sample from Farmers, I wanted to try it before spending $100 plus for a small bottle. The formula is not too runny, not too thick, creamy colour but applies clear. The smell is quite herby but soon dissipated. My skin felt a little tighter and hydrated, non irritating formula which was good for my skin. Haven't noticed a huge difference in lines and wrinkles, but over time with extended use this may help smooth out my skin. Do not get near eyes, contains Hyaluronic acid and several herbs, hence the earthy perfume. Not sure if I will repurchase, due to the price point.

Wow. This super serum promises a lot! I was beyond excited to try it. But did it live up to my expectations?

I really like the packaging, its simple but still cute. The pump dispenses the perfect amount (I use two pumps because I have a big face and like to bring it down my neck and décolleté, you could probably get away with using one pump). It kind of smells like carrot juice?? Which is strange because I don't think it contains carrot haha! Maybe it's in my head.. But like the other Kiehl's products, it's mild yet pleasant. It's hard to describe the texture, it's like a serum/gel/cream hybrid. It soaks into the skin immediately so no waiting for the stickiness to absorb before moving on to your next step!

I'm at that age where I'm starting to develop fine lines so I'm looking forward to seeing the results in time. And living in New Zealand, we're exposed to harsh UV rays year round, I sit in front of a computer all day every day for work, and am not great at going to sleep early... So this serum promises to be perfect to me.

I do feel like this product is one that requires long term, regular use before you start feeling the benefits, so I will continue to use it as such. But so far, too soon to sings it's praises.

It's quite pricey, but if it delivers on it's claims, it's worth it.
