First impression about the packaging was great, its a lovely compact and feels nice in the hand. I researched the product online for instructions on how to use as I have not heard the term foundation in a powder and wanted to get the best use of it. There are multiple was listed to use it, as a T-zone mattifying powder with a dry sponge or as a foundation with a damp sponge, a setting powder with dry sponge or a brush. Used over foundation as a t-zone powder I found it to be really cakey and emphasized my pores and fine lines. Used as a foundation I tried using a dry brush and blending but the coverage was next to none. Using a damp sponge it does go on ok as a foundation but kind of "pills" on the skin. It also gave off a really strong white cast and made blending other makeup products near impossible. Regarding wear time, it did not last a full work day.
Overall I was disappointed in this product because my hopes were so high, the only way I found to use it effectively was with a dry brush and a very light touch and use as a setting powder.
I had high hopes for this foundation but unfortunately it was a fit for me. I found it extremely hard to blend and very drying. I tried using a hydrating primer but even with that it was quite cakey. It did work slightly better with a good blending brush instead of the sponge it comes with and I tried it using a large brush as more of a setting powder which kind of works. This foundation was not the right fit for me but the packaging was very appealing and the product itself looks and feels well made. I will keep trying other ways to make it work for me.
Tips: Use a blending brush as apposed to the spine it comes with.
