I feel there wasn’t much difference between the day and the night cream. It has a very light scent that you can’t smell once applied. It spreads easily even though it’s a firm cream (won’t run out of the pot if you knocked it over). It isn’t greasy so I felt it created a good base for makeup. I have some dry patches which aren’t nearly as noticeable so I’ll keep using this product to reduce them even further. Definitely recommend if you’re starting to see lines and early stages of aging.

Reviews
Firstly, thank you to Beauty Review for sending me this lovely product to trial.
I really enjoy using L'Oreal skin care products, I have never been disappointed in any of their products.
This is a day cream, the claims on the packaging are, after 1 day skin is intensely re-hydrated, more elastic and radiant. After 1 month sagging is visibly reduced by 15% and the contours of the face are visibly redefined.
I can attest to the 1 day claim, I was happy after the first day, my skin looked and felt great. I have used this cream for around 14 days and I am noticing my skin, especially around my eye area is looking firmer and younger.
The cream contains collagen amino acid fractions. These are found naturally in our skin and as we age we need more help to keep our skin firm. The cream also includes Melanin, this ingredient helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, which is particularly helpful for me.
The cream comes in a glass pot, 50mls. It is thick and luxurious with a very nice scent. It goes onto my face smoothly and absorbs well. I do give this day cream quite a while to absorb before I start my make up.
Tips: For me, I would say if you are over 50, this is the firming day cream for you.
I very much enjoyed my trial of the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream.
I have a few age spots and the usual fine lines and wrinkles one would expect from a woman of my age. I have moderately dry skin.
This day cream soaks into the skin with no residue or greasy aftermath. It is lightly scented, not unpleasant or overbearing, just a, dare-I-say-it, skin care-ry scent.
I have noticed a real reduction in the colouring of my age spots, whether this will continue I don't know, but even if the fading I've experienced so far was the max I was to get, I'd be blooming stoked!
Retightening is a bit of a scary word I think, I hate the thought of tight skin, it makes me think of that horrible over-cleansed feeling. Thankfully this doesn't feel anything like that! It feels good, a gentle firming sensation.
Great product, will be telling my friends!
I love the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Day Cream. It glides on and my skin looks more hydrated, softer and smoother straight away. I particularly notice this when I am wearing makeup as my foundation no longer works its way into the fine lines around my eyes as they have started to smooth out and my skin is more hydrated. I also love that it doesn't feel sticky when I put it on and it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky either.
Tips: I found it good to give the day cream a few minutes to soak in before applying my make-up.
I noticed a good improvement to my skin after just a week of using this day cream. I am continuing to notice subtle improvements as the weeks goes on.
My skin has become firmer and fine lines have reduced. I am very much enjoying this experience.
I like the texture of the cream and the feel of it once absorbed, there is no residue.
I highly recommend.
Very nice product - pleasant fresh fragrance with a rich non greasey texture. I have 50 year old skin and now prefer a thicker cream (for some reason my brain thinks it'll work better than a thin liquid?). It has helped with hydration after drying winter conditions and absorbs well leaving my skin feeling soft. Is it a miracle worker? I can't say it has helped with tightening (anti sagging) or age spots and pigmentation but maybe this is a time issue as have only been using it for a few weeks? I use the residue on my hands which have age/sun spots appearing on top (the joys being now in my 50's). Let's see...? No issue with sensitivity or skin reactions. All in all I would give this day cream a solid score as a general all rounder.
This cream comes in a pot , and like the night cream, doesnt have an applicator , so you need to use your fingers or a cotton tip. It smells quite gentle and pleasant, and soaks in really well. I was very surprised at how much i like this product, it delivers moisture very well, and my skin feels lovely and hydrated and my makeup glides on over it. I'm very pleasantly pleased with this moisturiser , and how well it hydrates for the price, i currently use an Estee Lauder one, which is 5 times the price, but i am going to continue using this Loreal one, as it's just as good. I'm a convert. However there is one issue,in that it has exactly the same packaging as the night time creme, except the night one says in small letters night, but the day time one doesnt, its easy to get them mixed up, if they were in different pots it would be easier to tell them apart, or if they had different lids!
Tips: Apply with a cotton bud to keep it hygenic
I trialled the day cream along with the night and eye cream, in this range. The packaging is simple and un-fussy, which I like. You are buying for the product, not the container. The cream itself is a salmon/peachy colour with the same delicious fragrance as the night cream. Although the cream appears rich, it is even less so than the night cream; once again, easily absorbed and I could apply my make up within a short period. My skin remained hydrated, the entire day, without making my skin oily, which has happened with rich creams; in the past. My skin has definitely been more hydrated, softer and 'plumper'.
Tips: Use a light SPF as this product does not contain same.
This is a very lovely day cream to use with a very soft fragrance. The texture is rich and more on the firm side but a lovely consistency for application. It comes in a lovely white milk glass container and with the square shape makes it so easy to get into and use all the product - unlike tubes where you just can't quite get the last of the product out simply. It doesn't come with an applicator so you do need to use something to get it out onto your fingers for hygenic application. I found it did take quite some time to 'soak' in so for me this step did take too long in my morning routine. But if unlike me you have a bit more time between application and make-up going on to get out the door, then it's probably not a problem. It left my skin feeling silky soft and lovely to the touch. I think this is excellent value for money - especially when you look at the cost of other collagen based products. I'll be continuing to use this to see what the results are after the 2 week trial as I'm keen to see what might happen after the recommended 4 weeks (my rating reflects this as I think it just takes the 4 weeks + to work)
I'll definately be recommending this to friends and family.
This day cream comes in very attractive white and gold packaging. The product itself has a very light, pleasant scent and is a very pale apricot in colour. The day cream absorbs into your skin very quickly so you get on with applying sunscreen and make-up without having to wait around. It does leave your skin feeling very moisturised and nourished throughout the day. Some of the L’Oreal creams can be quite thick in texture but this one spreads easily so you don’t feel like you’re pulling at your skin when applying.
I really liked this day cream and did notice how soft and moisturised my skin felt right through the day. If you’re looking for a good day moisturising cream this one is definitely worth trying
