L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Night Cream

I was excited to try this night cream as really like Loreal products and this had the extra boost of collagen. I have been using every night for over a week. This comes in a nice white container and has no scent. Product is very light on the skin and blends in easily. I have noticed that my skin feels more plump and is definitely not as dry as it was. My skin feels really soft and smooth. As for the lines and age spots, to tell you the truth, I have not noticed any difference. Maybe I need to keep on using this to see what happens. Don't get me wrong, I do like this product but there has been no miracle disappearing of fine lines.

L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Night Cream is formulated for mature skin to fight sagging and reduce the appearance of age spots. Enriched with Soya Bean extract which is rich in protein, the Night Cream helps to support the natural production and maintenance of the skin's fibres. And also contains Melanin-Block that helps reduce the appearance of existing age spots. With this in mind, and because I had recently had liquid nitrogen treatment on one side of my face, I decided to test this Night Cream on one side of my face only and also focus on my neck/decolletage area. I have used the cream each night for 8 nights, allowing it to soak in for half any hour or so (while I read before lying down). Even now as I write this review, I can feel the side of my face I used the night cream on, is noticeably softer and feels more nourished and supple, compared to the other untreated side. My neck also feels more supple, and while I didn't have a "turkey neck", I believe my neck is more firm than before use. I have not noticed any difference in pigmentation changes as yet and believe this is more a gradual process, that will become evident as I continue to use this night cream....which I definately will do!

I found this product very rich and buttery. Its a pale pink coloured, pleasantly fragranced product and easy to apply and absorb into the skin. I think it helped the overall condition of my skin, I have a few troublesome areas like my forehead where I have a little dry flakey rosacea. It definitely helped that area. I have been using it for 10 days and will continue on with it.

It’s packaged nicely in a white jar with a gold lid. Available at places like Farmers and The Warehouse so easy to get hold of.

I’ve found over the years that the older you get the heavier the moisturisers seem to get. They don’t necessarily nourish your skin any better, and quite often you’re left with a heavy, dragging feeling and greasy residue after struggling to apply it as it’s so thick, which is not a pleasant experience. So, it was a happy surprise to try this night cream. It’s not thick, and it glides on easily, and is not greasy and in the morning my skin still felt nourished and hydrated and looked it!! It has a very subtle fragrance and comes in the L’Oréal Paris signature square glass jar, which I also love as the lid is flat and you can stack them on top of each other. Created for 50 plus this formula contains collagen and claims to visibly tighten skin, plus a melanin block which helps reduce age spots and pigmentation, so I’m looking forward to seeing more results after a bit more use. L’Oréal Paris don’t test on animals which is a big thumbs up from me too.

I received this product as part of a trial of the Age Perfect Collagen Tightening cream regime & used every night for 2 weeks so far. The packaging is classic L'Oreal white & gold & looks simple but elegant. The cream is lightly fragranced & a whitey orangy clolour. A little bit goes a reasonable way so this will last me perhaps 8-10 weeks of nightly use. No applicator so dip in a clean index finger & smooth it on after cleansing at night. L'Oreal seems to have quite a few of similar products targetting post menopausal/ mature women -wrinkles, sagging & age spots, with slight differences in the added extras - this one has natural collagen amino acid fractions to retighten. As far as results go - I'm still on the fence. My skin does look & feel quite well hydrated at the time of application and in the morning. I can't say I've noticed much reduction in sagging (a bit going on there) and I don't have a lot of age spots yet to say it's helped with that. I will continue the regime (also have the eye cream) and have now received the day cream to try out. After a month the results are promised as "skin recovers its tightness and facial contours are visibly more defined". Fingers crossed.... two weeks to go - results to be updated in the regime review.

A good night cream shouldn’t feel claggy or heavy and this one certainly ticks that box. My skin feels smooth and nourished in the morning. I think that a few more weeks’ use would show if age spots have disappeared - i only have a few blemishes. I don’t think my skin is tighter yet though it has definitely benefited from a good daily night cream. I will update this after a month’s use to update on facial retightening. It has a pleasant fragrance and smoothies into my skin easily. A good cream and is a pleasure to use at the end of the day.

L’Oreal have done it again! This product comes in great packaging that gives a rich luxurious feel, using gold labelling on white . Instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. Ingredients used are promoted on the packaging to enhance the value and highlight the positive usage of this product aimed at mature skin ie 50 +. On application I was pleasantly surprised how easy the cream was to apply. Absorption was immediate and left my skin feeling nourished and moist. I have not yet seen any change to any sagging or fading age spots however I have only used for one week so far. I have noticed my face looks brighter though and will keep using the night cream even after the trial finishes. A quality product.

I am totally thankful to have been selected to trial this amazing night cream. I have dry sensitive skin and are happy to report this night cream suited by skin and there was never any reaction or sensations when I first applied. The scent reminded me of many of the L'Oreal skin creams I have used in the past. My skin felt more hydrated that it has for a long time, and it's winter the worst time of year for my skin. Now the most incredible thing the age spot on my right cheek has faded and I have been using this cream for less than three weeks so are kind of hoping that it will fade even more (honestly impressive). Throughout this three week period I have been studying my skin to really get an idea of what this cream has been working on as it says it will tighten the skin. I can say my skin does feel more lifted and plumper, once again amazing as I'm in my mid fifties and my skin has had its fair amount of damage through sun and being an ex-smoker. I will certainly continue to use this night cream and recommend to any mature woman because they will see results which L'Oreal state on the box - instant and long lasting results. I have not used any cream that has given me results that this cream has and am thoroughly pleased, just what my mature skin has been looking for.

I'm so happy i got to trial this product. I'm sure there is an improvement in the lines etc that were showing on my decolletage area. The product itself is almost fragrance free and so easy to apply. Seems to be absorbed almost instantly but you can still tell to touch you have applied it. The hydration from this product is obvious. Will keep using to see what more improvements there are over my whole face area in the next month at least as it seems to work.
