I really like this range. The first step is the shampoo. This is a gorgeous product, in a 400ml pump brown bottle, that looks very swish in my shower. The shampoo is clear in colour and scented with a spicy scent. It cleanses my hair and leaves it feeling soft and with no frizz. My daughter tried just the shampoo and she said the same. The next step is the Conditioning Balm. There is less of this, coming in a 200ml tube, which is odd as most people use more conditioner than shampoo. This balm is thick and white and rinses out beautifully leaving my hair feeling soft. The final step is the Potion. This comes in an old school looking medicine type bottle with a dropper. The potion itself is white and thinnish in texture. I add a dropper or two to my wet hair in the hopes that it will strengthen my fragile locks. I'm not a fan of the scent of this range as it is very 'patchouli' like. And patchouli normally makes me gag. The first time I used it, I was nearly put off. However the smell doesn't linger and it is such a nice range otherwise, that I will continue. I'm not sure yet whether or not it will do as it claims, and give my hair some strength, only time will tell. I don't understand why the conditioner is half the size of the shampoo. I do like the packaging, the fact that it is silicone and paraben free.

Tips: Use as a total range.
This was a lovely trial to be chosen for as my over coloured hair was desperate for some help. I loved the pump action container for the shampoo and the herbal scent got me from the start. Lovely to use and so kind on my dry damaged hair. The conditioner was fantastic on my hair restoring shine and softness and again with that lovely scent however I would have liked a pump action container for ease of use. The serum was a nice extra for daily use and gave the ends of my hair some body and I was able to brush without any tangles or knots. Overall the three products are outstanding together and my hair has never felt or looked so good. I have received quite a few compliments which have been a long time coming . Overall I will definitely purchase the shampoo and conditioner and will continue to assess the serum over the long term.
Tips: Don't waste -a little goes a long way -These products would make awesome presents as the scent alone gives a lot of pleasure.
The shampoo: This shampoo came in a really nice bottle, I like the pump and it is a nice shape bottle. This shampoo did what it said, cleaned my hair which is obviously what i'm looking for most in a shampoo. It does smell quite strong but the smell isn't too much like coriander it has some sweetness in it as well so I wouldn't say it is a bad smell just a distinctive smell. This shampoo lathered nicely but not too much.
The conditioner: I like this conditioner it was very creamy and thick which I like and it was very easy to massage into my hair. I feel like it was very hydrating but no to the point where it was hard to wash out. This also had the same scent as the shampoo but comes in a squeeze bottle instead of a pump bottle. This was only half the size of the shampoo so if you are someone who uses them up about the same, you would need two of these per shampoo.
The serum: I liked this serum, it was very light and almost felt like thick water when applied as opposed to lots of hair serums which are quite thick and oily. The bottle was very good and it has a squeezy tube to get the product out which is nice. It is also quite hydrating but doesn't make your hair feel like you have anything in it.
Overall I like this range, I think it says what it does, and it comes in nice packaging which is always a plus. I would definitely purchase the conditioner again and probably the shampoo and serum as well.
Tips: the conditioner is a smaller bottle than the shampoo so maybe get two!
First of all, I am so grateful that I was chosen to review these products. Thanks so much to the Beauty Review team for sending them out!!
This system worked really well together. I have enjoyed using them so much and have already recommended them to people, especially the shampoo and conditioner. I think that L'Oreal really nailed it with these!
The shampoo is definitely among the best I have ever used because it is such a deep cleaning formula, and it doesn't dry out my hair. It foams up so well which makes it quick and easy to wash my hair and get on with my day.
The conditioning balm is, in my opinion, the best part of the system. It's almost like a thick treatment rather than a standard conditioner which is really helpful for damaged hair like mine. For example my hair is bleached so it's quite dry, and it needs something thick and nourishing like this conditioner. It's also important to condition your hair after shampooing it to help restore the oils in your hair so it doesn't become more damaged due to it not being protected by the oils. This is especially important with this shampoo because while the shampoo doesn't dry out my hair, it could do if I only used the shampoo without the conditioner because of how deep it cleans.
The strength potion was my least favourite part of the system, but it definitely wasn't bad. On my hair I didn't see much of a difference apart from the initial application, where it made it look smoother for a while and then went back to normal. I feel like that can be done with any hair treatment which is why I wouldn't repurchase it, however my hair has been looking great because of the other two products so I do wonder if I stopped using those two and just used the strength potion, if I would notice a difference.
Overall I am extremely happy with these products, I will definitely repurchase the shampoo and conditioner, and maybe the strength potion depending how it works on it's own. I LOVE the shampoo and conditioner! I think I have even found my new holy grails :)
Tips: Use a few pumps of the shampoo, and then apply the conditioner and leave it on for a few minutes. Towel dry your hair and apply the strength potion, comb it though and let your hair air dry for best results.
I really like this range. The packaging is simple but quite attractive with its recycled bottle and green on the label.
The whole range all smells the same but it's such a fresh, earthy, herby natural smell. I get compliments all the time about how good my hair smells!
I like how the conditioner is a balm as it really penetrates my hair and softens it.
I think all three of the products in the range work really well together to strengthen my hair while keeping it soft and hydrated. I have noticed that my ends have been getting a little dry, but I think that might be down to just needing a hair cut!
I'm definitely going to try the other types that L'Oréal have created!
Tips: I find if I rub the conditioning balm straight from the roots to tips it really weighs down my hair. Try from the mid lengths of the hair down.
This range definitely surpassed my expectations as a whole. My hair is long but thin, and very damaged and dry, so naturally I was stoked to be able to give this range a try after reading its claims of improving hair health and strength. For a drugstore brand such as L'Oreal, I really liked the packaging, it looks quite sleek and overall was nice to use, other than the pump of the shampoo which I found very stiff and didn't dispense enough product for my hair. The scent (coriander/herbs) is very different for a hair care range for sure, but I actually really enjoyed it, and found the scent lingered in my hair for quite awhile throughout the day, but nothing too overpowering at all. My hair tangles very very easily and by the end of the day I usually have a birds nest at the nape of my neck that can be a real pain to try and brush out. However, after using this range I found my hair has tangled a lot less. This range does boast improved strength which I don't think is something I can say I definitely noticed, but there's nothing to say I might find better results after using these products for a longer period of time. Overall though, I think my hair has been a lot easier to manage after using this range, it holds it's style better throughout the day (had a couple of people comment on this), tangle less and just have a general healthier look about it. I'm quite impressed and will more than likely repurchase this range again when I finish off the current products.
