I love how after using the shampoo with the conditioner you have a beautiful soft feel with shine and my highlights appeared brighter. It is hard to judge the 2products independently as I used them together, but I really loved how in the directions you didn't have to wait 2-5minutes for before rinsing out the conditioner. I tried it as directed and loved the smooth soft look with plenty of shine

Tips: Must use shampoo and conditioner together for optimum result
This def did colour protect my hair, after using it for a tonne of washes but it did leave my hair feeling stripped and dry.
I got this as a trial product yay !!!! :D i hope I get more opportunities in the future, but thank you so much BR.
The bottle is an averaged sized bottle, and it doesn't really have a smell to it, it is also white in colour. This does do what it says it does, colour protect. Because I die my hair, and some shampoo and conditioners strip the colour from my hair, and I can tell it does this because when I wash it out the bubbles are not white, whereas this one remains white when I wash it out. Though this did leave my hair feeling quite dry
I have coloured hair that is wavy and can become dry and frizzy at times. L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Conditioner was great because took care of the issues that I have with my hair and it does everything it said it would do. After using this product in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo, my hair seemed more radiant and shiny and I also had a few people comment on the colour of my hair as well.
I also enjoyed the smell. It's kind of florally and the colour of the bottle is a bright bold red which is a visual bonus for the bathroom. The bottle is also easy to hold and is quite ergonomic overall.
I would buy this product again but found I got the full benefits of this product when using in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo and then using a L'Oréal hair mask once a week.
Tips: Tips: Use in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo and a good quality hair mask once a week for the full benefits.
I bought this conditioner to compliment the Loreal Paris Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo which is really good. My hair tends to frizz after washing, and I found that this creamy thick white formula does the trick at taming and smoothing any flyaway hair. It has a nice but not overpowering scent and leaves my hair smooth and shiny and easy to brush through. My colour is not fading much and I am very happy with this product.
Tips: Buy at the supermarket at a bargain price.
I thought this was great! I used it daily for a week, and didn't notice any fade, which is amazing, since I have a reverse ombre that I'm trying really hard to preserve! I find that shampoo is most important when it comes to preserving colour, as anything too harsh just strips my hair instantly. My hair didn't feel "squeaky clean" after this shampoo, which I like. I thought this was on par with expensive salon shampoos I've tried for preserving colour. I'd definitely buy this again.
Tips: You'll love this if you like a shampoo that leaves your hair smelling gorgeous all day!
I got this product on trial along with the shampoo. I have high hair care standards, so am always sceptical when trying new products. But I must say this conditioner was a pleasant surprise. From the first wash I started noticing my hair (especially my very long and damaged ends) were softer and looked healthier. This is a big concern for me as having dyed my hair so much its quite damaged along the ends. Colour wise I noticed a difference of sorts. Its true my colour doesnt seem to be fading as much, but neither this or the shampoo enhanced my colour/made it look any shinier which was a shame. In saying that though I love the way my ends are feeling, so because of that its a product I would consider buying again!
As I said in my matching review, I'm a Pantene girl with an occasional swap to Dove. Generally I'm not fussy about the shampoo I use, but I'm VERY anal about my conditioner!! My hair is down towards my waist, and I go through at least 5x more conditioner than shampoo. First off, I REALLY liked the consistency of the conditioner. Its more like a paste, which means when I apply it to the ends of my hair (where its needed most) it stays there, rather than turning watery and getting washed/dripping away. Thats a BIG win in my book. I didn't mind the smell. As for colour protecting, well my dye didn't come out when I rinsed it all out? If they implying long term colour protection from the sun, then thats a wait and see thing. So far, I'm tied between buying more of this or Pantene when the bottle is gone. So thats a really good thing! I find a new brand of conditioner generally feels fantastic for the first dozen applications, its after that period that you get a true test. As I previously said, this is the first conditioner that will stay on the ends of my hair without dripping off. Usually I end up reapplying several times while I'm waiting for it to cook in the shower lol. I also feel because it is more paste like, that it could be more concentrated?
Im just way more impressed with it than I expected to be. I'm such a conditioner snob that even a lot of the salon stuff doesn't cut it for me. Since I do have such long thick hair, its very important that I have a good conditioner to look after it.
Tips: Take advantage of the paste consistency and make a point of applying directly to the ends of your hair after squeezing excess moisture out. :)
Firstly like my shampoo review, I love the packaging it really stands out on the supermarket shelf and especially love that the lid is on the bottom so you get every last drop out of the bottle. The conditioner is a really thick consistency almost mask like, it is super moisturising formula and like the shampoo smells AMAZING. I still noticed a slight fade in my colour, but it left my hair super shiny and soft. Overall Definitely a product I will be purchasing again
I've been using the Elvive Colour Protect shampoo and conditioner for about 3 months now and I'm really happy with the colour protection of this cheap supermarket range. As I use semi-permanent colours in my hair, and change them often, I've found this is a cheap solution to hang on to my colour a little longer and to lock moisture in to my damaged hair. The smell and texture of this conditioner is lovely and makes it feel far more expensive and luxurious than it is. My hair is also very long and knotty and I've found it is helping with those tangles, especially when teamed with the other products in the Elvive range.
Tips: Follow up the conditioner with the Elvive Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle treatment- same amazing smell and it leaves your hair feeling so silky soft! The conditioning spray is also really good for keeping the tangles away.
I always use a salon shampoo and conditioner and was keen to try a supermarket brand to compare. I found it to be good, a little went a long way and it left my hair feeling nice and soft which is good. I have short hair so i wash my hair everyday, otherwise i can't seem to style it! I found the smell pleasant too. I think a nice smell is important! I don't have anything negative to say about this conditioner and i would defiantely use it again. I would recommend to others.
