This conditioner is excellent value, it gives salon quality results on a supermarket budget. I loved the difference in packaging to the shampoo for easy to tell them apart (especially first thing in the morning!). The conditionor was easy to apply, smelt devine without that overpowering perfume smell. It left my hair feeling silky smooth, without flyaways and my colour still looking shiny, glossy and fresh even weeks after. I'm definitely sold on the Elvive Colour protect.

Tips: Leave the conditioner on for at least 3 minutes before rinsing
I received both the shampoo and conditioner and think its best to write the same for both products. I loved the smell of this and found that the scent did last on my hair, But, at this time of the year I normally don't need to wash my hair every day but found I did when using this. It made my hair very oily & lank the next day. One good thing was that my hair didn't tangle and was very easy to comb out. The packaging was nice, modern and bright, but, I wouldn't buy this product given the results that I had.
Container: A red 250ml plastic "tube" like bottle. The lid is a flip lid that opens on the bottom. It is flat so you could stand the conditioner on the top this is a bonus as it is easy to squeeze.
Appearance: The red of the container is bright and attractive. The writing on the front is in gold and white.
Information: The label is clear and informative. It has a clear list of ingredients, a clear and informative paragraph about the aim/secret of the conditioner. Overall for the container/packaging I would give it a 4/5. There is nothing that I can fault the package and presentation on. It is attractive and informative.
The Product: A glorious, sweet smelling white cream like cream. The conditioner smells delicious. A teaspoon worked in at the ends and then up towards the roots soaked right in. I found with this conditioner I was not disappointed. The shampoo cleaned my hair without leaving it feeling dry or "squeaky" and with the conditioner following I found that my hair was a little more controllable and has a little less fuzz. I can say that my hair was coloured a week before receiving this product. It is a copper colour which tends to fade, with this shampoo and conditioner I have not been disappointed my colour has lasted and my hair feels silky smooth.
I find that normally conditioners leave my hair looking and feeling oily, so I was a little hesitant about trialling this product but on reflection I am amazed and delighted at the results. Not once have I felt that my hair looked or felt even slightly oily, instead I have been left with sleek and shiny hair that is frizz free and vibrant in colour!
I am delighted with the results and will definitely purchase this in the future. It offers a salon like smooth finish to your hair and although it was for protecting my colour I have noticed that my hair is far more manageable! The fragrance is absolutely amazing.
For the fragrance I would give it a 5/5. For the texture/thickness of the conditioning cream I would give it a 5/5. For the results I would give it a 5/5. Using the shampoo with the conditioner I would give it a 5/5, using just the shampoo the results are not as fantastic but good as with the conditioner.
For the price, its a good product. Its as good as the salon recommended products at a fraction of the cost. I usually purchase a different brand that is cheaper so the price is a little more that I would normally pay. On saying that I would pay it again as the results are worth it.
Tips: Use this after the shampoo for the best results.
I was very fortunate to receive the shampoo and conditioner trialthe day I had my hair cut and coloured.
The shampoo comes in a attractive red container, very easy to use.
The fragrance of the conditioner is pleasant and lasts most of the day.
After washing, conditioning and drying my hair, I found my hair was nice and soft, has a lot more body to it, and easy to style
My colour has not faded, and still has the same appearance as it was when I left the hairdressers - so big ups for this product
Tips: use the matching shampoo for a great effect
I am now in love with this conditioner. For one thing, my colour looks great - first tick. It also looks so bouncy and soft - I've had multiple compliments and can't stop touching it...or smelling it. For all the benefits for my hair the smell is my favourite!
Tips: Use with the shampoo for gorgeous colour and softness
I received this as part of the trial and So far I am really impressed with this product. I've recently recoloured my hair mahogany with bright red highlights so the timing was perfect. I love the way this product feels - it covers my hair beautifully without feeling too thick. The other biggest factor I noticed was that even though it covered my hair really well, it was still really easy to rinse off and I didn't feel like I had a lot of residue on my hair afterwards. I always seem to have frizzy hair no matter what, and while this hasn't tamed my hair at all (I didn't expect it to) I do feel like my colour is still really radiant and vibrant.
This product was easy to apply, I used my hands to apply the shampoo to the lengths of my hair ,it smelt great and was easy to spread through my hair. It was although hard to rinse out. The shampoo and this conditioner seemed to make my hair greasy, and thinker than usual. It also irritated my sensitive scalp.
Tips: No.
I was really looking forward to this trial because I typically dye my hair more...unusual colours. At the moment I have been rocking the purple but I had a slight dye mishap leaving me with green hair which I have to slowly cut out due to it being permanent which means I couldn't test this conditioner out as well as I intended.
I used to be so slack with conditioner as in I would barely ever use it. It was only in the last yearish that I started religiously using it and this conditioner does not disappoint. Without conditioner my hair always feels dry and knotty but this product got rid of that feeling. My hair was silky smooth and I had to try not to continuously feel it. I used this before I went to a lunch with some girls and some of them were commenting on how soft and nice my hair looks considering I dye it.
I don't feel like I can give a complete review both because I haven't redyed my hair and also because the trial period was a bit too short to see if this conditioner helped repair my hair. I am planning on keeping it aside until after I dye my hair to retrial it though
I received this conditioner very quickly in the post thank you BR Team, and was really looking forward to using it, as I have just changed my hair colour recently.
The packaging is pleasant enough, and the shape of the bottle means easy storage in the bathroom, and it's not at all bulky like some others.
I really liked the smell of the conditioner and the consistency of it.
As soon as I applied the conditioner to my hair after shampooing with the L'Oreal Colour Protect shampoo, which had left my hair matted and knotty, it felt great. Nice and smooth and moisturised and very silky, which was very good as my hair felt so bad and straw like before applying the conditioner.
I would normally apply a further deep conditioning treatment to my hair, but felt I did not need to, as my hair was feeling very soft and silky.
I blow dried my hair as usual, and found that it did not frizz up quite as much, but it certainly was not frizz free.
It claims that the colour radiance is visibly prolonged, accentuates your hair colour and remains shiny and radiant. I would not agree that it has made my colour more radiant or that it accentuates it, but if certainly feels softer and it does not leave my roots oily like other conditioners I have used.
Tips: If you have dry hair, apply a good size amount of conditioner and leave in for as long as possible before rinsing out.
This conditioner is excellent value, it gives salon quality results on a supermarket budget. The conditionor was easy to apply, smelt devine without that overpowering perfume smell. It left my hair feeling amazing, without flyaways and my colour still looking shiny, glossy and fresh even weeks after. I'm loving Elvive Colour protect.
Tips: definate use with the shampoo for best results and great as a treatment if you leave on longer with a hot wet towel wrapped around it
