As with the Colour Protect Shampoo I loved the bright red packaging and high end product look. But there the love affair ends. Like the shampoo the fragrance of the conditioner is lovely, not intrusive and leaves your hair with that lovely "just washed" smell. However the conditioner did not do what I expect a conditioner to do. Apart from its claims to help with the colour protection of my hair in conjunction with the shampoo, it promised to wash out easily and not weigh down my hair. I found it difficult to rinse out and it left my hair feeling greasy and heavy. I used less of the conditioner than I normally would after the first try but it still left the same effect. It would help if there was some indication of the appropriate amount to use. When combing my hair before blowdrying I found it hard to get the comb through my hair which I did not expect from what is supposed to be a top quality conditioner. After drying my hair felt brittle, flyaway and looked dull . Like it needed a wash again. It's hard to tell how much of this was from the conditioner and how much from the shampoo so I tryed using the conditioner only on every second occasion. I did not notice any improvement in the feel or silkiness of my hair. These products simply didn't work for my hair type or colour which is white/gray at the temples with mid to light brown in the length. My hair is regularly professionally coloured with blonde foils overall and I receive regular deep conditioning treatments to maintain my hairs condition.

Tips: As I suggested with the shampoo I feel that this product may give better results on those with darker or red hair colours.
was really excited that I got on the trail for the L'Oréal Colour Protect Shampoo & Conditioner as I get blonde highlights in my hair every 8 weeks or so.
I can't really tell if either product made a difference with protecting my colour, the product may have even slightly darkened the blonde. I’m one of those ladies that washes my hair every day (don’t judge me) so this could have been due to the product building up or overuse?????
The smell is pleasant and my hair was left feeling fresh and clean. You can’t miss the eye catching bright red bottles either.
Chances are I won’t be buying the shampoo again but will continue on with the conditioner as I usually have a tough time with tangles however after using the conditioner my hair was way easier to manage, soft and smooth.
Upon asking my daughter to smell this product she started singing "If you like Pina Colada..." - and that's exactly how it smells. Divine!
The conditioner is so much better than the shampoo in my opinion, and it leaves your hair feeling silky soft.
I would probably buy the conditioner again, but I would resort to searching for another shampoo. It's user-friendly, it makes my hair shine and it makes my hair feel light as a feather.
Its quite hard to review shampoos and conditioner and i thought i wouldn't be able to write a thing but i did notice differences when using this conditioner and others.
Im not sure i like this product, every conditioner I've ever used, upon washing and applying make my hair soft, tangle-free and silky straight away. However, for this one, i had to really work it in to my hair to even get the tangles out. Since it is a conditioner, i expected that to happen.
Theres not really any significant scent to this so i can't comment on that. Using this in conjunction with the shampoo, i didn't see any differences on my hair in terms of texture. But, my hair colour leaned warmer when i like it cool toned, so I'm quite disappointed in that.
I also noticed my hair took a lot longer to air dry and is quite heavy compares to other duos of hair care i use. Its a standard for me and i think there are better out there
There was nothing standout about this conditioner for me, it is about on par with every other conditioner made for coloured hair! It's smell is lovely, packaging is great and easy to squeeze.. and cost effectiveness all get positive marks from me. But I am still using as much as it as other brands (I am VERY generous with conditioner), noticing just as much red dye wash down the drain, and about the same moisture content in my hair after (if not, possibly a LITTLE bit drier and coarse than other brands). I find the longer you leave it on for the softer my hair feels, this shouldn't be the case as this is supposed to be an "instant" conditioner, however I gave it a go and left it on while shaving etc and it felt a little more effective. I don't think I'd buy it myself as I have my favorites I'd prefer to stick to!
Pack size 250ml. I tried the shampoo and condtioner. Comes out in a nice thick amount. Easily spread onto hair. The instructions were to massage into hair and ends then wash out. I normally leave my conditioner in so this was different for me. The conditoner has a very slight fragrance. I normallly wash my hair every two days and I found by the second day it wasn't feeling as good as other condtioners. The price at $8.99 is rather too much for me so I would not buy this product based on that price. It was packaged in a nice bright red colour. Condtioner packaged so that you would stand it on its head as condtioners are always harder to get out. Would I recommend it to others. Yes, if the price is not an issue with you.
This conditioner is really good the hair feels really smooth and the hair does not feel porous it seals the cutical and makes it so easy for blow drying .
Tips: After you shampoo your hair ,try and remove excess water by blotting your head don't rub it with a towel as that damages your hair. Then apply the conditioner it will work better and will be more concentrated .Try and leave it for 5 min before final rinse.
I really like to feel the conditioner in my hair and I felt the amount I used didn't quite spread over the hair as much as the shampoo did. I felt like I could have used more to cover the hair. It did make my hair feel soft afterwards so must have done a good job even though it didn't feel like it. I think it did as good a job as the salon brand conditioner that I used in keeping the colour strong in my hair. Nice to know I can buy this at the supermarket with my normal shop and not have to go out of my way to buy shampoo
I love this conditioner. It smells great, a small amount goes a long way and my hair was left smelling great as well as feeling, and looking, silky and shiny. I used this conditioner after shampooing with the Elvive Colour Protect conditioner between colours but am going to continue using and hoping it is effective at protecting my new colour which I am getting done next week. So far however, the signs are good and I had a compliment from a work colleague who asked if I had had my hair done as it was looking great. Would I buy it again? absolutely! In fact I spotted it on offer in the supermarket and have a bottle of shampoo and conditioner sitting in my cupboard already :)
After using this in addition to the shampoo, I did not find this conditioner met my expectations or wants. It left my hair oily when first washed then left my hair dry. It did smell nice but that is as far as the good went.
