L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Conditioner Review

As said in the title, I think I will need to trial this product a bit longer to see the benefits. As someone who does not wash her hair every day, instead every 2-3 days, I have not experiences the full 28 washes..

I dyed my hair before starting this trial and have washed my hair approximately 12-14 times with the Colour Protect conditioner. After the first wash, I noticed a lightweight finish and an thoroughly nourished bounce in my hair. My hair reacted to styling much better with a nourishing conditioner.

Very cost effective and I haven't noticed a change in my colour yet. I'm happy with how things are going this far.

I recently coloured my hair so I was needing a conditioner and shampoo to try and protect my colour in my hair and maintain shine. I've never tried Loreal before so I thought I would give it a try.

This bottle is about 250 mls. Not a very large bottle at all. This bottle is easy to open and close. The texture of this conditioner is medium in thickness. It has a lovely scent to it .I wash my hair about twice a week because my hair is so thick and takes a really long time to dry.

My results from using this conditioner was while I was washing my hair my hair feel smooth and silky. When my hair is dry the colour has still remained. My hair was extremely dry at the tips. I have enjoyed using this conditioner. Just not sure about repurchasing it though.

Effective , color retaining and has a light scent that does not over power me in the shower. I use it with other shampoos in the sunsilk and schwarkopf range so don’t be afraid to mix and match .

Definitely improved the luminosity and shine of my hair but being that my hair is a vibrant red I didnt notice less colour fade. The smell was delicious, and my hair looked healthy and felt soft. My hair didnt feel weighted down at all once dry and I noticed less frizz. I would recommend to others, and I would definitely try it again if my hair colour is different.

After two weeks of using this I have enjoyed using this product. my hair doesn't look like its faded. Loved the smell of this and it made my hair nice and soft and silky. overall I would use this again so thanks BR for giving me the chance to try this out. :)

This has an accompanying shampoo and both have the same smell basis but I found there is a definite strong chemical undertone to the scent used in the conditioner. To me, it's nearly overwhelming and makes me want to rinse it out fairly quickly! Luckily, this conditional isn't one of the ones that you have to leave in for 5 minutes etc. so you can just follow the usual conditioning process. After having my hair bleached, I've found that the ends can get all dry and "crusty" after I wash it, but I haven't noticed it with this conditioner which is great to see. The blonde and colour in my hair hasn't changed (the only thing that has is my regrowth, oops...) so it looks as if it does the job. At such a cheap price compared to salon products, I'll definitely consider purchasing it in future - the main thing putting me off is the smell.

First time i used this it was ok, just like any other conditioner, but the next time i used it i left it in for a long time (Spend the time doing my Frank scrub) and it made my hair quiet smooth, was nice to feel. Though my hair isnt coloured a non natural colour im sure the benefits of this will still happen(:

For some context here, I colour my hair with a semi-permanent colour, not a permanent one.

My colour would normally begin to fade to its normal coppery tone after about 4 weeks, but after using this it seems to have lasted a little longer than usual, but nowhere near as long as the loreal professionnel version of this does. For the price point though, it's probably worth it.

The smell is nice, but string enough that a colleague mentioned smelling it in the lift when I exited.

Did leave my hair feeling quite soft and manageable which was impressive. After so much colouring, my hair is usually a matted mess after a single gust of wind but not with this shampoo and conditioner. However I found myself needing to use a fair bit of conditioner to achieve that.

This product was nice and creamy and mad my hair feel like a million bucks but after a day or two I would have to wash my hair again as it made it feel oily.i love the texture of the product and the smell was nice a fragrant. I just didn't like how it made my hair feel oily

it left my hair feeling beautiful (after I used the shampoo) my colour was brightened after using , smell is ok and I put some in my hair to use as leave in conditioner and it kept my hair from going frizzy so would recommend that to people with frizzy hair :)
