After using this in addition to the shampoo, I did not find this conditioner met my expectations or wants. It left my hair oily when first washed then left my hair dry. It did smell nice but that is as far as the good went.

Reviews
As with the Colour Protect Shampoo I loved the bright red packaging and high end product look. But there the love affair ends. Like the shampoo the fragrance of the conditioner is lovely, not intrusive and leaves your hair with that lovely "just washed" smell. However the conditioner did not do what I expect a conditioner to do. Apart from its claims to help with the colour protection of my hair in conjunction with the shampoo, it promised to wash out easily and not weigh down my hair. I found it difficult to rinse out and it left my hair feeling greasy and heavy. I used less of the conditioner than I normally would after the first try but it still left the same effect. It would help if there was some indication of the appropriate amount to use. When combing my hair before blowdrying I found it hard to get the comb through my hair which I did not expect from what is supposed to be a top quality conditioner. After drying my hair felt brittle, flyaway and looked dull . Like it needed a wash again. It's hard to tell how much of this was from the conditioner and how much from the shampoo so I tryed using the conditioner only on every second occasion. I did not notice any improvement in the feel or silkiness of my hair. These products simply didn't work for my hair type or colour which is white/gray at the temples with mid to light brown in the length. My hair is regularly professionally coloured with blonde foils overall and I receive regular deep conditioning treatments to maintain my hairs condition.
Tips: As I suggested with the shampoo I feel that this product may give better results on those with darker or red hair colours.
I have been using this product for the past 3 weeks every 2-3 days along with the conditioner
the packaging is nice to look out but I found it slipped out of my hands while in the shower the labels have too much writing on them making them less interesting to the eye.
the smell is nice, it's tangy but not a fruity smell.
the texture is what you would expect in a nice pearl colour.
I found after using this with the conditioner my hair ends were super frizzy.. which was disappointing.
I also read on the back packing for the 28 day trial of washes it is using the extraordinary oil as well which I did not use.
My coloured hair has faded over the use of using this, it is not as vibrant as it normally is and feel very straw like not nourished at all.
Tips: use with the extraorindary oil
I received both the shampoo and conditioner and think its best to write the same for both products. I loved the smell of this and found that the scent did last on my hair, But, at this time of the year I normally don't need to wash my hair every day but found I did when using this. It made my hair very oily & lank the next day. One good thing was that my hair didn't tangle and was very easy to comb out. The packaging was nice, modern and bright, but, I wouldn't buy this product given the results that I had.
I have salon dyed blonde hair and so I need a good colour protect conditioner to keep my ends healthy and not like hay. To me, this conditioner also did nothing of what it said it would. It made my ends dry and knotty. It also didn't leave my hair looking radiant or smooth like it said it would on the bottle. Because the retail price is only $8.99 you wouldn't expect a lot from this conditioner either compared to other - more expensive - conditioners but you would still expect to see a little bit of a difference. I get my hair dyed at an expensive salon and after testing out this conditioner, I would not rely on this product alone to protect the colour of my hair - I would prefer to spend more money on better quality conditioner. Even the smell of this conditioner isn't very appealing to me as it smells like cherries. I had to put a hair mask through my ends after each time I used this conditioner just so my ends wouldn't look dull and dry. For the last few days that I trialed this conditioner, I mixed it into my usual more expensive conditioner that I use just so I wouldn't have to use as much of my expensive one and I actually liked the results. My hair was radiant and smooth like it usually is when I just use my expensive conditioner on its own, so I can use these two conditioners mixed together to save money.
Tips: Tips: Use this conditioner mixed with a more expensive colour protect shampoo so that the other conditioner lasts longer but your colour is still being protected.
I brought this with the shampoo on special at the supermarket because I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered going to the pharmacy to buy my regular shampoo and conditioner but I'm disappointed and ended up making a special trip to the pharmacy to buy it after using this.
The conditioner is white in colour and quite thin consistency it has a clean and fresh scent but nothing over powering I found it quite subtle. I used this with the matching shampoo and I think I said in my shampoo review it was hard to tell the 2 bottles apart although the conditioner one does sit in its flip top lid.
I feel like I had to use a mountain of this stuff to get my hair soft and silky feeling. I have dry dry hair and need lots of moisture and I can tell (I guess everyone can tell) when you haven't used enough conditioner and your hair feels like you have only used shampoo and sure enough when you dry your hair it's a tangled mess?...anyway.. I like my hair feeling soft after I use conditioner so I probably used a half a palm full just to get that nice feeling. So as you could imagine the bottle didn't last long and not long enough for me to tell if it had made my hair colour last longer. Slightly disappointed overall as I had read great reviews on it but unfortunately I think it's not suited to my dry mane.
I really like to feel the conditioner in my hair and I felt the amount I used didn't quite spread over the hair as much as the shampoo did. I felt like I could have used more to cover the hair. It did make my hair feel soft afterwards so must have done a good job even though it didn't feel like it. I think it did as good a job as the salon brand conditioner that I used in keeping the colour strong in my hair. Nice to know I can buy this at the supermarket with my normal shop and not have to go out of my way to buy shampoo
Personally this conditioner did nothing for me it left my ends feeling quite heavy and left a residue even though i had fully rinsed. It does have a lovely fragrance but thats all i could really compliment on this product.
I’ve waited til the very last minute to submit my review as I really wanted to give both of these products a really good go so ditched my normal shampoo and conditioner and have exclusively been using these products for the last 2 weeks (and still have some left in each bottle).
First off - the shampoo: It comes in a nice, easy to use bottle. I think its designed to sit upright with the lid on the top but as this part is flat I’ve been keeping it upside down so its always ready to use.
I really love the smell of the shampoo. Its an appley/ fruity scent that’s not too overpowering and makes your hair smell good the day after you’ve used it. It lathers up really easily so you don’t need to use too much and it leaves your hair feeling fresh and clean.
The conditioner is where is all goes wrong for me. It doesn’t smell as nice as the shampoo and I found that within a few days my hair was looking oily/ dirty which never happens with my normal shampoo. This meant that I was having to wash my hair every couple of days instead of twice a week so that also meant that I ended up losing more colour that I normally would.
Overall, I think it’s a good backup product and one that I’d buy to take away on holiday when I don’t want to take a giant bottle. I’ve found that you get what you pay for with hair products so for something around the $8 - $10 mark you cant have super high expectations.
Tips: Definitely don't apply to roots if you have oily hair!
The Good - I loved the packaging of the conditioner, and the smell was pleasant.
The Bad - It was far too thick for me and was very hard to wash out. It weighed down my hair, felt greasy, and left my hair feeling very flat.
Would I buy again? Probably not. The heaviness of the product out weighs any colour protection benefits.
Tips: Put a dollop of shampoo through your hair after conditioning to get all the conditioner out.
