After using this in addition to the shampoo, I did not find this conditioner met my expectations or wants. It left my hair oily when first washed then left my hair dry. It did smell nice but that is as far as the good went.

Reviews
I had the opportunity to review this conditioner along with the matching shampoo The packaging is nice and bright and the smell was simple but pleasant. I used this shampoo to wash my hair over the last couple of weeks. I was not overly impressed with the way it made my hair feel. It did not seem to feel completely clean and no matter how much I rinsed felt like there was still some residue. It may just be my hair but I ended up using a different product every second wash to bring the shine back as this product seemed to make it feel limp and greasy. Did it do what it says it will? Well I don't think I can fully comment as the trial period was not really long enough and I had nothing to compare it to. It does claim on the bottle 80% of colour preserved after 28 washes - not entirely sure what they mean here as for me personally 28 washes would take about 9-10 weeks and most colours have begun to fade in that time anyway. I want a product that preserves the colour and shine from day one of having it done!
Tips: I would not recommend this if you are prone to greasy, limp hair as it will make it worse. But for the price (this brand is often on special) it is an ok conditioner and shampoo.
I don't normally use conditioners, as they seem to make my hair greasy a lot quicker, but for review purposes I gave this one a shot. I was actually impressed. It smells good, doesn't leave me feeling greasy, and seemed to maintain my colour without looking faded. I would definately purchase this conditioner.
I have just recently (for the first time) had my hair highlighted 5 weeks ago from natural Brunette to Blonde highlights. So this trial came at a perfect time.
I have shoulder length hair, and only wash my hair every second day as my hair doesn't get very oily. I used the Conditioner along with the Colour-Protect Shampoo.
I love the colour and shape of the bottle it is a great size and doesn't take up to much room on the shower shelf which i like, but did get a little confused with which bottle was which as they both are pretty much identical. It has a nice creamy consistency and i absolutely love the smell of it not like some other conditioners i have tried. I found that i didn't need to use very much to cover my whole hair, i did definitely have to use this product after shampooing to get rid of the feeling of straw hair caused by the shampoo. Using the conditioner made my hair manageable again and made it feel very smooth and soft afterward and i found it easier to straighten my hair than i normally would. I haven't really been able to tell if my colour has faded or not but i have noticed it does appear to be going ever so slightly brassy in my opinion but everyone around me says it isn't so i'm not to sure. I will definitely use this product again but probably not with the shampoo i will chose a different type to pair with it also i would be using it more for the fact it makes my hair easier to manage and straighten afterwards.
Tips: I found i didn't need to use very much and i used it from my ends up to the roots as the ends of your hair are in fact what need conditioning and need it more, if you put to much on your roots this is what causes oiliness which i'm sure you don't want.
This conditioner arrived just in time as I had left my other shampoo and conditioner in Wellington. I only needed a small amount of conditioner to cover my hair and leave it silky. I didn't need to put the magic onto smooth the hair after blow drying either. My hair definitely needed the conditioner after the shampoo though.. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant. I must admit I do get confused about which bottle the shampoo and conditioner are in with one being up the right way and the other upside down and was always grabbing the wrong bottle first. Pays to check before you pour it into your hand as otherwise its a wasted pour. My colour was done three weeks ago and is maintaining its caramel colour and not going brassy which is good. I would use the shampoo and conditioner together again. They are a pretty good supermarket brand at an affordable price. .
This product came at the perfect time for me, as I had just had my hair coloured blonde Ombre a week before it arrived. (im a natural brunette). The first thing i noticed was the bottle shape & design, this might sound silly but its nice to have a slender bottle so it doesnt take up so much room in the shower! The smell was amazing too, a real clean smell, not overly floral or sweet. The conditioner didnt leave my hair oily or greasy looking which was great, as i have that problem alot with conditioner. and it left my hair feeling great. I have noticed my colour has kept its nice blonde tones and not gone brassy. I have nothing but positive things to say about this product and would reccomend it to anyone.
Tips: massage the conditioner in thoroughly through hair from roots to tips, instead of just spreading it over. if you dont massage it in i find it doesnt get rid of the knots as well.
I used this product following the Elvive colour protect shampoo and it thought it was quite good for a super market brand. The first time I used it it did make my scalp quite oily but not the ends because the ends of my hair are bleached. The nect time I used it I tried only putting it through the ends of my hair and very minimal on my scalp and I found that this made my hair much nicer. It did make my hair very soft but it also made my hair quite fluffy but I would use this only if I was straightening my hair after,
Tips: Only use a small amount on the scalp but use quite a bit through the ends.
I used this after i used the shampoo i always use conditioner for my hair. I started about the third day use about a pea size as a little goes a long way i find some conditioners leave hair greesy looking this one didnt was great i only use the conditioner now every 3 day when i was it as i dont need to do it all the time as it leaves your hair so good for a couple of days it smell a wee but different to the shampoo so you know that you havent picked up the wrong one.
Tips: n/a
I was lucky to have the opportunity to trial this product as well as the shampoo of the same brand. I found that using both the shampoo and conditioner made my hair flat and limp although my hair was shiny and soft. So I tried them separately and found it produced a better result for me. The conditioner was pleasant enough, the packaging, a lovely bright red and easy to use bottle with a good flat base. You don't need to use too much conditioner as a little goes a long way. It is value for money, and I would consider using it when my own brand runs out but would not use both this shampoo and conditioner together.
Tips: A little goes a long way, spread a small amount over the palms of your hands and run your fingers through your hair to the ends.
As with the Colour Protect Shampoo I loved the bright red packaging and high end product look. But there the love affair ends. Like the shampoo the fragrance of the conditioner is lovely, not intrusive and leaves your hair with that lovely "just washed" smell. However the conditioner did not do what I expect a conditioner to do. Apart from its claims to help with the colour protection of my hair in conjunction with the shampoo, it promised to wash out easily and not weigh down my hair. I found it difficult to rinse out and it left my hair feeling greasy and heavy. I used less of the conditioner than I normally would after the first try but it still left the same effect. It would help if there was some indication of the appropriate amount to use. When combing my hair before blowdrying I found it hard to get the comb through my hair which I did not expect from what is supposed to be a top quality conditioner. After drying my hair felt brittle, flyaway and looked dull . Like it needed a wash again. It's hard to tell how much of this was from the conditioner and how much from the shampoo so I tryed using the conditioner only on every second occasion. I did not notice any improvement in the feel or silkiness of my hair. These products simply didn't work for my hair type or colour which is white/gray at the temples with mid to light brown in the length. My hair is regularly professionally coloured with blonde foils overall and I receive regular deep conditioning treatments to maintain my hairs condition.
Tips: As I suggested with the shampoo I feel that this product may give better results on those with darker or red hair colours.
