I use this as a standby product when my usual isn't on special. It's not the best shampoo and conditioner, but it's far from being the worst. Pleasant smell, doesn't dry out my hair or leave it too greasy. Reasonably priced.

Tips: There are better supermarket brands out there.
Received both to trial from Beauty Review and although they have a lovely fragrance this seems to dry out my hair too much. I haven't really noticed a difference with regards to colour protection and don't think I would purchase this once my bottles are empty.
I got this shampoo and conditioner in preparation for the Loreal hair colour trial that I was picked by BR for. I thought I would really give the colour the best conditions and use a colour protect shampoo. I had perviously used the Arganine resist shampoo and conditioner from this range and really liked them. Unfortunately this one not so much. I found it made my hair quite dry and straw like and it was quite unmanageable and frizzy when I had been using it for a few weeks. I wasn't even using this product solely once I had applied the colour to my hair as it was so dry and in need of moisture. However the shampoo and conditioner that I'm using at the moment are a bit too moisturising so I am using this every couple of weeks as a balance to the one thats too much. I really sould like I'm hard to please with this review but I've not been so fickle with shampoo and conditioner befoer I promise. In terms of the product its self its packaged well and it has the texture you would expect for each product and the both smell nice. Overall not a bad shampoo and conditioner it just doesn't quite meet the needs of my hair at the moment.
I was doing my normal spot of shopping at the super market and I was looking for some shampoo and conditioner that will lock in my colour and keep my hair colour looking good.
Both bottles come in a 250 mls. Both bright red bottles with the Loreal labelling on the front. These bottles are easy to open and close. The texture of this shampoo is like any normal liquid shampoo/conditioner. The scent of this smells really nice. I did find the shampoo easy to lather into my hair. It did wash my colour out with each wash. I did notice colour coming out in the water. The conditioner just glided through my hair. My hair feels soft and manageable.
Price wise I think they could be priced lower as you are getting only 250 mls in a bottle. Whereas you could get a 750 ml bottle of Tresseme for around the same price. Luckily I managed to get it for $4 per bottle. I wash my hair about two to three times a week.. My ends a quite dry. My colour is vibrant.
Smells great, did exactly what it stats, but does not suit oily hair. Such a shame as I dye my hair, and have oily hair too!
Tips: Wash twice with shampoo, and only condition ends twice weekly
I really enjoy using Elvive colour-protect shampoo and conditioner, my hair always feels great after using it and I love the fragrance it has too.
I used this product when I dyed my hair vibrant red. It did make the colour last longer and brighter than a normal shampoo/conditioner duo but it still faded and had to re-colour fairly quickly.
Tips: I say this for all conditioners - leave on for as long as possible for best results!
I dye my hair quite often so I went out and brought this product. I found it smelt really nice. After using it for two weeks It started to make my hair feel smoother and silky. It is affordable and for my long hair lasts about a month. I found my hair colour looking nice and untouched (I'm not sure if it will work as well for people who like the sunny outdoors).
Tips: If the shampoo drys out your hair use a no-sulfate shampoo! (L'Oreal has an amazing one out at the moment)
I highlight my hair when funds allow for it. So when money is tight I need a good inexpensive product to sustain my blondness! Elvive does the job well (not as good as salon products), but I believe you get what you pay for. The shampoo does leave your hair a rather dry, so I use a bit more conditioner.
Tips: Leave conditioner in as long as possible :)
When you can't afford to buy salon products this is an amazing go to product. The smell is lovely and my hair felt amazing after it's use.
