L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo Review

I use this set and love it my hair feels a lot softer and easier to control which is very hard as im a blonde . I havent used it seperately only as a complete set and thats how i like it .

I have been using this now for 2 weeks. Great size. At the start i was using a wee bit to much but as i didnt know how much to use now i use about a pea size or more. Great smell and its not runny like some shampoos i have used. And lathers up real good you are knowing that your whole hair is covered i have a short haircut so it totally covered at first i didnt notice a different bbut after the fourth time my colour was brighter people even asking if i had my hair coloured which was great

This product came at the perfect time for me, as I had just had my hair coloured blonde Ombre a week before it arrived. (im a natural brunette). The first thing i noticed was the bottle shape & design, this might sound silly but its nice to have a slender bottle so it doesnt take up so much room in the shower! The smell was amazing too, a real clean smell, not overly floral or sweet. The shampoo was great, didnt matt my hair which some shampoos tend to do. the blonde tones have stayed nice and golden, no brassy notes have come through and the colour is nice and even. I will definitely be purchasing this myself to continue using the product! I love the way it makes my hair feel too, like ive just had a wash at the salon, every time!!

I have been using the same shampoo for years. Occasionally trying another one for a chance but always being disappointed. Not this time though. I love the smell of this shampoo and the easy way it lathers up on my hair. Easily rinsed off, my hair feels clean, silky and shiny. I love it!!! It is hard to say if my hair colour has been protected as I began trialling this mid-colour but I haven't noticed the colour deteriorating either. New colour due next week so am confident this product is the one I have been looking for :) In response to the question ' would you use it again? well I have already bought this product as it was on offer in the supermarket and even picked up a bottle for my daughter who also dyes her hair :)

Was really keen to see how this would make my hair feel and look and I was not disappointed. Love the smell of the product and it lathered up well. I shampoo my hair twice and saw no reason to change for this product. The product rinsed out of my hair easily. I did use the matching conditioner so my results are a combination of the two products. My hair is soft, shiny and very easy to manage. That is quite a different result to the current shampoo and conditioner I had been using. I would need to use the product a lot longer to confirm the colour protection factor, however the only difference I note with my hair colour at this time is the regrowth.

Also a great shampoo with a beautiful smell. It makes my hair feel soft and actually feels like its working. For a supermarket brand cheap but good.

Excellent on my hair, really soaped up well and cleaned my hair, recommend it to others. I only need to use a little amount in my hand and I Did this twice I got that very squeaky clean feel. The shampoo is a great price at $8.99 has latest me a lot longer than other shampoos that I have brought as I seem to be using less. Would recommend L Oreal Paris Elvive colour Protect shampoo.

The ELVIVE range is definitely my go to supermarket shampoo and conditioner range. I absolutely love, love, love this product!

Majority of Supermarket brands tend to make my hair feel dry and crisp.. not the ideal thing when you already fry and dye your hair with bleach and other goodies. I found that the Colour Protect shampoo was a fabulous and nourishing shampoo. It cleansed without stripping the hair completely!

I found that my colour looked brighter after using it, it didn't get as brassy or faded after washing my hair - I didn't find that colour was falling out when I was washing it.

I absolutely love the packaging.. It's so sleek and modern - Looks great in my bathroom! I also really enjoyed the scent.. I find that supermarket shampoos smell so harsh - but this was light and floral. Absolutely perfect!

I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and I will be continuing with using this product and trying out others in the range!

I decided to try this shampoo because I was sick of my highlights looking yellow a day after toning them and because I few people I know in the hair industry use L'Oreal themselves.

I am pretty sold as far as the colour lock in goes. My highlights are staying white blonde without toning for longer and not going brassy as quickly.

In terms of deep nourishment, my hair still looks the same (a little dry) but feels slightly softer.

Valuewise, L'Oreal is often slightly more expensive than many of the shampoo brands with the same litreage. But this is the first hair product to impress me in a while, so for now I think I'll stick with it.
