What a great product, it smells amazing and leaves your hair feeling really soft, silky and shiny. The packaging is great easy to hold and also brightly coloured so is easy to find at the shops. I have mid length hair and only needed about a 20cent piece sized dollop to wash my hair. It foamed well. The size of the bottle was good and think it is definitely value for money. I also found that my hair still felt nice if I didn't have time to use the conditioner as well

Tips: Don't use too much at a time as it is quite deceiving on how much you need.
I really enjoyed using this shampoo. The smell lasted and kept my hair nice and manageable as well as maintaining the overall colour well. I haven't been a big fan of L'Oreal hair products before but this has changed my mind.
This product was a pleasure to use. I found that my hair felt soft and not dry after using it. I am used to using a salon only product to protect my colour. I used this product and I am unsure from the time I started using it if it did protect my colour. My colour wasn't new (had been coloured three weeks previously) so was at the point where it was fading anyway. I liked how nourished my hair felt after I had used it together with the conditioner. If I wasn't buying my normal salon shampoo to protect my colour I would likely buy this one from the supermarket.
I have used numerous Colour Protection Shampoos due to having vibrant red colour throughout my hair. This product had a lovely smell that remained in my hair for the day. Packaging was appealing and eye catching which would be good on supermarket shelf. Only a small amount of shampoo was required (less than usual for my thick hair) and it lather up well. I felt my hair lacked a bit of life and became relatively flat. For the amount of time used there was no significant difference in colour fade noted against other products.
Tips: Use a small amount of shampoo. Less is better.
First of all i really enjoyed the scent of this shampoo. I did notice that it made my hair shiny when i was trialing it. I would have loved to have tested this for longer but because I have quite long thick hair. This bottle lasted me 2 weeks ( washing my hair once every 2-3 days) I also noticed that even after 3 days it wasn't too greasy at the roots which for me is usually a problem after 2 days. I used this shampoo the day after i had my hair dyed. Usually it would take a few washes to make it soft again. But after using this shampoo once I noticed that my hair was soft.
As said in the title, I think I will need to trial this product a bit longer to see the benefits. As someone who does not wash her hair every day, instead every 2-3 days, I have not experiences the full 28 washes..
I dyed my hair before starting this trial and have washed my hair approximately 12-14 times with the Colour Protect shampoo. After the first wash, I noticed an all over shine which the back of the bottle states. After the most recent wash (after 14ish) I do not notice any change in my colour - always a plus!
Shampoo is light weight and smells great. Doesn't make my hair feel icky once dried and reacts well to styling.
I love the smell of nice and floral but obviously this productvdoesn't just have a good smell. After a using this shampoo a few times I could feel that my hair color more shiny and soft. I have medium lenght, thin hair which just color before try this shampoo. I whish that I could have some more time to try before to see the result in long term. Over all I love this product!!
This shampoo (& conditioner) is my brand new favourite :) I was stoked to make the trail team on this as I had often eyed up the brand in the supermarket, the shiny labels on the red bottles really stand out and I probably would have brought after my current shampoo ran out. I had just coloured my hair again a couple of days before the shampoo arrived so it was fantastic timing, usually when I shampoo the first time after coloring I see a little red in the shampoo but I didn't notice it at all with this product. Oh... and the smell! The shampoo and the conditioner both smell divine, even good enough to get a comment from himself, much nicer than the chemical flowery scent I'm familiar with from other colour protect brands. My hair felt clean without that stripped tangly feel that I sometimes get and once followed by the conditioner was beautifully shiny & manageable. Definitely 5 kisses from me, the shampoo I was using is in the bin already :)
Tips: The shampoo lathers up beautifully, you'll need less than you think...
I have using this product, daily, for the last week.
It comes in a funky red bottle, and is a great price... but i am still on the fence about it.
My colour hasn't faded, like it normally does with other shampoos in the same price range. Which is a great thing, really it was doing the main thing I was hoping for... but it didn't do much else.
It definitely did fell like it was getting deeply nourished, and there was little radiance or shine. My hair felt dried out, and my scalp has become flaky, which is something I have never had an issue with..
I wouldn't use it again, but if you dont want to spend a lot of money and need to have your colour hold for longer, this product will do the job, but like i said.. not much else.
Tips: I found that I needed to use more of this shampoo than I do my regular, to achieve the same "clean feel"
The beautiful bright, eye catching bottle caught my eye in the supermarket before I received my trial sample. The bottles aren't too big to hold, and fit in the hand easily. The smell is lovely and not over powering, the texture of the shampoo is smooth and silky. I have shoulder length hair and so I used about a 2 teaspoons worth of product. My hair is also quite thick and this amount was just enough, it lathered up beautifully and it didn't feel like my hair was completely stripped of everything, so my hair still felt nice and not 'rough'. I really liked this product and actually had to go and buy it again after my daughter came to visit and took my bottles with her! I'll definitely keep using it!
