The bottle is gold and pretty, not too big to handle easily in the shower, its flip-top lid seals well, and it's easy to squeeze out the exact amount you want. I like that it sits on its head too, both for easy dispensing (as it's quite thick) and to differentiate it from the matching shampoo bottle.
The first thing you notice when you open it is the fragrance - a really lovely, musky sweet sort of scent, but not too overpowering, and it becomes quite faint once your hair is dry. The conditioner itself is quite thick but also creamy, and melts quickly into the hair as you work it through, so there's a good slip to it. I leave it on for a minute or two before rinsing it out.
My hair is very thick, long and curly, and tends towards dryness, and this conditioner really does feel like it's nourishing and hydrating my hair. I still use a leave-in serum, mousse or cream to define my curls and get that really glossy look, but this conditioner definitely makes my hair shinier and softer and easier to handle, but without being weighed down with silicones or oils, so it does exactly what it says on the tin.
This conditioner performs as well as or better than some really expensive conditioners I've used in the past, and considering you can buy it from the supermarket or The Warehouse for a few bucks, and a little of it goes a long way, I think it's brilliant value. Because it doesn't weigh you down, it would work as well for oily hair as for dry types, I reckon, as long as you avoid the scalp area.
The shampoo in this range didn't wow me but the conditioner was a little bit better.
The fragrance is really nice, can't really explain the scent as I'm not so great at describing. Packaging is quite pleasant to look at - professional and I just love the gold colour they used. It has a flip lid which makes it easy to get the product out. Just flip, tip and dispense product - simple.
It did leave my hair feeling nice and soft, had a wee shine to it but like the shampoo, it didn't wow me with its results.
It is an affordable price though, so give it a go, maybe you'll get better results than me.
Tips: Makes a great shave cream for your legs.
