The packaging and smell are nice, but that's pretty much the only good things I have to say about this product. It's not that it's bad, it's just that for all the hype, and the whole Product Of The Year thing, but it just wasn't that great.
I have quite dry ends, and I've been told by my hairdresser that a way to tell if your hair is dry or your conditioner is not hydrating enough is that the ends of your hair will be quite dry as soon as you get out of the shower. I usually use the Longer and Stronger by Sunsilk, which is quite a thick formula and does a good job of keeping my hair hydrated. This, however, was very thin (thinner than I like a conditioner to be) and when I got out of the shower, my hair was drying out already. I tried this with and without using leave-in conditioner. With leave-in conditioner, my hair was manageable but still a teeny bit dry feeling; without it, my hair looked and felt horrible. It was dry and frizzy and honestly looked/felt like I had not used conditioner at all. For an apparently "restoring" conditioner, it wasn't very nourishing.
This done everything it said it would and gave longerl llasting results over any other conditioner that I have used. It left my hair feeling and looking it's most healthiest in years, used along side total 5 restoring shampoo is one of the best hair repair products out on the market today
Tips: Leave in for an extra 2 to 3 minutes makes hair just that little bit more shiner and silkier
