It smelt really nice and that's where the good stuff ended for me. The consistency was really runny so I found I had to use heaps of it to cover my hair properly. It didn't detangle my hair an awful lot. No improvement at all for me to damaged ends. I'm sorry but I wouldn't bother going out to buy it even though it is well priced

So in turn with using the shampoo, and doing my "hair washing" backwards, I would first condition, then shampoo, then condition again. I found this made my hair feel AMAZING before it was even dry!
Packaging: Looks appealing to me and simple to read
Did it: 1. Feeling stronger. - I think mixed with the shampoo plus my additional hair care I need to use - My hair does feel way better!
2. Looking fuller. - Can't say I have noticed this to much....
3. Looking revitalised. & 5. With a healthier shine. -Yes looks healthier, and has a bit more bounce with it and the shine lasts!
4. Silkier to touch. umm is it bad that I can't stop playing with my hair?
Tips: Because I wash backwards, I can only recommend a light condition on the necessary parts and then full condition after shampoo :)
L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner is a decent supermarket branded hair product. I love the smell of it, it's typical of most of the L'Oréal hair care range. I can't quite decipher the smell but it is pleasant with a mixture of floral and fruity scents.
The consistency of the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner is creamy and lathers on easily. I used L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner every 2-3 days for about a week and a half and I found that it left my hair feeling silky with more bounce.
I also have the L'Oréal treatment mask and I tried using this after using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner once to compare the results and it worked wonders! My hair was left feeling fuller. So this is one of those times where you really need to use the full product range to fully benefit from this product.
The only thing that I was not happy about was that I started to get flyaways since using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Conditioner but I have found that by putting a little hair creme in towel dried hair solves this issue. KMS Freeshape Hot Flex Creme is perfect.
Overall, I would continue to use this product but would not go out of my way to buy this product, especially if it was full priced (RRP$8.99). I have seen it on special at the Pak N Save supermarket for $4.00 each and I think this is a more realistic price tag. but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
Tips: Best to buy when it's on special but if you want to see the full results of this product it has to be used in conjunction with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Shampoo and leave in conditioner.
I love this product - I have coloured shoulder-length hair which prior to the trial was dull, lifeless and prone to breakage. I love styling my hair now it's shiny, soft and bouncy.
Tips: Use with L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Restoring Shampoo. Use sparingly as it has the consistency of moisturiser.
The conditioner part of the duo made my hair feel soft, easy to brush and style and smoother when used alongside the shampoo. They have a fragrance that is delicate.
Tips: Use alongside the shampoo every couple of days to give you sleeker, smoother locks.
If you have the 'frizz' this is the conditioner for you. I loved the way you didn't have to use much of it and it left my hair smooth and shiny. After some conditioners the frizz returns the next day not so with this one, my hair stayed smooth and shiny until the next wash. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days because it so thick.
Tips: Highly recommend to those with frizzy hair . Don't need to use much so very economical.
Thankfully I got to try both the Shampoo and Conditioner. I had high hopes for the L'Oreal range, and was excited about the new ads on TV suggesting they are including keratin in some of the hair care products.
Firstly, I'll start by saying I liked how light the conditioner was, but to be honest I didn't feel overly clean afterwards. If you have read my shampoo review you will see that I have naturally curly hair which when a product is good will go into quite nice loose spiral curls, unfortunately this wasn't the case with this product. Between that and the unclean feeling I'm not a big fan.
Tips: Perhaps there was a different range of L'Oreal that would've been more suited to my hair type.
I really liked this conditioner it made my hair silky smooth and was very nice for a supermarket brand.Having bleached hair I found after a few weeks I needed to return to my saloon conditioner.I felt that if you had slightly damaged hair this product would be enough but wasn't enough for my hair.
I will say this product is only alright - good if your usual product is not available. It did not perform as well as my salon products in that it doesn't not leave my hair knot free and smooth, nor silky.
I didnt honestly find this made a difference to the condition or feel of my hair. I found the formula quite runny and was left with a very strong perfume smell for the rest of the day which Im not too keen on. I guess you could call me a salon snob as I usuall have been using shampoo and conditioner fro a salon so maybe this is why I didnt notice a difference but didnt find my hair was any dryer or worse so if you cant afford a salon shampoo and conditioner this is a great affordable alternative. But it does say to follow up with the treatment which I didnt have so maybe this is an important step!? I wasn't totally disappointed but just didnt notice a difference
Tips: Follow up with the treatment :-)
