I wanted so bad for this product to do everything it says it's going to do for your hair. I have really long thick wavy hair and it's really dry and brittle from previous bleaching. I've been shopping in the market for something that will help me with my hair. I have real bad flyaways and ultra dry hair. Using the conditioner after the shampoo made my hair feel no better. I felt like I had to use a lot of conditioner just to get it soft. Maybe it's just my hair?? But I felt that this product was no good for my hair

Tips: I found that the more conditioner I used, the more softer my hair was.
Consistency: It is thick and creamy. Just the way I love conditioners to feel. Gives me that "in the salon" feeling but I'm just in my shower, at home.
Application: It is pretty easy to apply.
Fragrance: It smells like a very expensive salon conditioner and it lasts all day. I usually wash my hair with the shampoo and apply the conditioner to style my hair.
Coverage: I have long hair and all I need is a medium amount in the palm of my hand.
Usage: Both my family and I have used the conditioner and the 250ml container which I received lasted about 2 weeks
Price I would say yes, it is worth the money when you see the results. Perhaps we could see some more specials when purchasing the pack eg. Shampoo and Conditioner together.
Packaging: The packaging works well, however perhaps the name "Shampoo" or "Conditioner" could be more predominant. The container has a secure lid which clips each time it's opened and closed.
Results: I have long, wavy, highlighted hair and found that the shampoo helps to bring out my colour much more. Before the trial my hair was dull and the highlights never really stood out.
Would you recommend it- I would recommend it to anyone who wants their dull hair rejuvenated.
Tips: Ensure you use the appropriate one for your hair type or requested outcome.
I seen this on special after recently trialling another in this range so I thought I would give it a go. All I can say is AMAZING! I am completely smitten with this range, my hair is softer, silkier and just looks better. My mum came to stay this week and she commented on how good my shampoo and conditioner was and is going to change from her salon brand to this, I think that in itself says it all.
Tips: A little goes a long way, you dont need a lot
This product said what it would do and left me with nice silky shiny hair. It smelt amazing and I just love it. But unfortunately after a month of using it I have to give up as it makes my hair super itchy so bad I was scratching and making sores on my head. Which is a total shame as it worked really well on my hair.
I used this range as a free gift. I like the package of this range. Fancy looking always attract consumers to pick them up and read how amazing they are. This product does. I first thought it's a range for coloured hair then realised this is a top range of L'Oreal for all condition of hair problem. It does look very luxury. The conditioner gives my hair really good result. I like it fragrance on my hair cause I always want a nice smell of my hair. It improve shininess and more silkier.
Just like i love the Shampoo, you have to get the conditioner to match.
The conditioner leaves your hair feeling so silky smooth and knot free. Conditions and smooths out those flyaways.
Leaves your hair with that "Lush" look.
Has a lovely thick creamy consistency which makes it easy to apply over your hair.
Well priced and will last you a couple of weeks.
The smell is absolutely amazing, keeps your hair smelling fresh even in between washes.
L'Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Shampoo and Conditioner is a "must-try" for all.
Tips: For best results after shampooing with L'Oreal Elvive Total Repair 5 shampoo, apply an even amount over your hair, focusing on the ends, while you wash the rest of your body leave it to soak through then wash out just before getting out of the shower.
I found this conditioner pretty average. It has a really nice smell to it and nice packaging, it is also really affordable. I don't feel like it has done anything for my hair except make it greasy and also seems to have made my scalp a bit flaky. I will not be repurchasing it.
I have been using this conditioner for the last 3 months after not feeling happy with the brand I was using. My hair has felt smoother and less likely to frizz since I started using this conditioner. My only complaint would be the red plastic part of the bottle; it has no apparent purpose and collects water. I didn't realise this until I took it out of the shower to put in my bag for travelling overseas. The water started spilling the moment I took it out the shower. However the bottle travelled well from country to country.
I had high hopes for this product. I love love love the Elvive range and this promised so much. I was excited. Unfortunately it fell flat. My hair, on the other hand did not. It did this weird boofy headed thing, not cool.
I found I had to use a lot of this which is never a good sign with a conditioner. My hair just seemed to drink it up and want more which is something other Elvive's haven't done but other supermarket brands have.
Most importantly, I didn't get the results I expected, the results that were promised to me. Feeling stronger? Who can tell? Looking fuller? Perhaps, but in the wrong way, boof is never desirable. Looking revitalised? Um no. Silkier to touch? Most definitely not, in fact quite straw-like.With a healthier shine? Not that I noticed.
There is an Elvive for everyone but this one clearly isn't for me unfortunately.
I brought this recently after seeing this on special at the supermarket and reading some good reviews on BR.
I'm mostly a salon-only product lover for my shampoos and conditioners, as I haven't tried any supermarket products that have wowed me before.
The packaging is stylish and attracted it to me in the supermarket. It's a decent sized product and I love the white, red and silver colours. Loreal always has lovely packaging!
What impressed me was the lovely smell, it smells like you are at th hairdresses- a beautiful floraly type smell that I would never tire of.
The conditioner is quite thick and creamy consistency, and its easy to glide over your hair after shampooing. I found it didn't tangle my hair like other supermarket brands do.
I'm impressed with this conditioner, my hair felt nourished and moisturised, it was also super easy to style afterwards.
Will definitely continue to use this as a backup from my usual salon conditioner.
