Total repair conditioner

I'm really pleased I trailed this product. In my opinion this conditioner after using the shampoo made my hair feel soft and shiny and left it looking repaired. The consistency of this is creamy and you don't need to squeeze the bottle too much before the product comes out . It is easy to apply like every other conditioner but found for it to be more effective on thicker hair I needed to use quite a bit for it to reach from roots to tip The smell of this is very delightful with a light hint of floral that last between 4- 6 hrs maximum as I have a busy lifestyle chasing four children. I felt I needed to quite a bit for total coverage but this didn't bother me too much as I do use a bit with other conditioners also. This product is economical and would defiantly suit families or couples and could last for up to a month if used sparingly. It is in expensive and can be accessed a most supermarkets and my local dairy has this in stock for $5.99 . The packaging is simple but clear of what it hopes to achieve and the back clearly labels the ingredients and states that it should leave your hair feeling restored, stronger, vitality, silky to touch and leave a healthy shine. It has a secure lid that clips firmly. The end results for me after using this product my hair is that it did leave it soft, shinny and looking repaired and I probably would use this again without the shampoo. I would probably recommend this conditioner to others but without the shampoo due to it having a nice fragrance and it being affordable.

Tips: Divide the hair into sections to allow for total coverage.

It's ok

I have my hair lightened every 4 to 5 weeks so its always in need of a little tlc. I usually use a salon exclusive brand so was excited to try a mainstream product.

The packaging was appealing, I liked the little gold detail on the label giving it a bit more lux than your average mainstream product. Also the shape of the bottle felt good to hold and was easy to squeeze.

The scent was lovely, not too floral or sweet and not too overpowering. I really liked the way the conditioner had a softer scent than the shampoo.

It felt nice and silky in my hair and left my hair feeling soft. My hair had a nice finish to it once it was dry, even when I blow dried it- it was left nice and shiny.

but to be honest I never noticed any major difference to my hair but maybe that was because I usually use a very good product anyway? In saying that I also never noticed the condition of my hair get any worse so it kept up pretty well.

Moderation

I have long wavy hair that is coloured. When I used the repairing conditioner partnered with the shampoo my hair felt great and revitalised. When I used the product frequently - like I do with other products - I started noticing dandruff. So, I decided to use the products once a week, usually on a Sunday and it brought my hair back to life without dandruff. The product has a really nice smell that lasts all day. Sometimes I use the conditioner on its on depending on how my hair is feeling at the time.

Tips: Use the product in moderation. Best results partner with the Shampoo and use this as Treatment for your hair.

Great for lightly damaged and brittle hair

Okay so for reference this review really works for both the shampoo and conditioner as a regime as I used them together. The product I'll mostly be comparing it to is the redken extreme shampoo and conditioner which is what I normally use.

First off let me just say that it does what it says it does, my hair felt silky and soft after use. Now, I'm not sure it quite repairs as much as I would like as it doesn't seem to have the protein amount of the redken extreme range (and fair enough, protein is expensive!) but hair was soft and silky so there's a win right away.

Secondly, the price point is great! I have long thick hair and I'd expect these bottles to last about a month (250ml each) and at about $9 it's exceptional value for money.

The consistency is nice and thick so you can apply the conditioner and not worry so much about it sliding off or disappearing into the abyss of your hair.

The smell is fantastic, not cloyingly sweet or overly chemically just a nice salon shampoo smell.

After trialling the shampoo and conditioner I've found my hair has maintained it's condition from my redken use which is encouraging as I'd love to switch to something a bit more affordable or atleast to have as a backup when travelling for work and not wanting to take the big spa size bottles.

All in all I think for maintaining hair that has been previously treated with protein treatments to build up hair condition after serious damage the total repair range would be a great candidate. Perhaps not strong enough to revive hair from multiple bleachings but certainly from heat damage or for hair that is naturally brittle.

If there's one thing I didn't quite like it was the generic squeeze type bottle, I love the ease of a pump bottle in the shower so that took a bit of getting used to but that's just a personal preference.

I didn't notice any odd build up as a result of using the total repair range and my hair continued to feel nice and light if hair clarity is a big concern of yours.

Tips: If you're like me and prefer a pump bottle go to payless plastics or storage box and get a pump bottle to pop the product in.

If you're wanting to repair severely damaged hair go to a hair dresser and find an appropriate protein treatment then follow up and maintain with the total care range for happy hair!

Silky soft hair

I brought this recently after seeing this on special at the supermarket and reading some good reviews on BR.

I'm mostly a salon-only product lover for my shampoos and conditioners, as I haven't tried any supermarket products that have wowed me before.

The packaging is stylish and attracted it to me in the supermarket. It's a decent sized product and I love the white, red and silver colours. Loreal always has lovely packaging!

What impressed me was the lovely smell, it smells like you are at th hairdresses- a beautiful floraly type smell that I would never tire of.

The conditioner is quite thick and creamy consistency, and its easy to glide over your hair after shampooing. I found it didn't tangle my hair like other supermarket brands do.

I'm impressed with this conditioner, my hair felt nourished and moisturised, it was also super easy to style afterwards.

Will definitely continue to use this as a backup from my usual salon conditioner.

I love this conditioner!

It may be a supermarket cheapie but it is one of my faves. Makes my hair feel so lush! I've used expensive salon conditioners and only noticed a difference when my hair was bleach blonde and needed extra help. Now I am back to my natural colour and don't need the expensive products to salvage it so this does the job!

Surprised me!

I am a bit picky when it comes to the Shampoos and Conditioners I like therefore I didn't have high hopes for this considering the low price tag. In spite of this I was pleasantly surprised by this conditioner.

First of all I loooove the scent of this range. It smells like a lovely expensive floral perfume and adore the smell it leaves lingering in my hair (the lingering scent doesn't last long, but, is lovely for the time it is there). The packaging is pretty standard but very functional and easy to get the product out of. One problem I have is the similarity of the conditioner and shampoo bottles, if your a ditz like me it can be easy to confuse the too haha.

The conditioner itself is quite a thin runny consistency and I do find I have to use quite a bit of product to coat the entire lengths of my hair and compared to the volume require for the matching shampoo (which is minuscule) I imagine I will go through three conditioners before I finish one of the matching shampoos's. Who else agree's they should make conditioner's twice the size of Shampoo's?! After leaving the product in my hair for a few minutes and rinsing it out my hair is left feeling lovely and smooth, tangle free and nicely hydrated. I find this softness lasts once my hair dries and really does give my hair a nice shine. I had very dry and damaged thick hair and find this conditioner helps make my hair look a lot more healthy.

For the price I think this is a great product and something I will enjoy using.

Tips: Leave the conditioner in your hair for a few minutes for the best results :)

great conditioner

This is a great salon substitute, fantastic fruity scent and very creamy, wasnt as thick as what I like in a conditioner but still did the job, I left on for 5mins each time and it seemed to make it better, after using my hair felt alot softer and less frizzy,so this product does what it says at a fraction of the price of salon products, highly recommend for a cheaper product

Tips: Keep it on for 5mins before rinsing and it seems to make it better

Good results combined with the shampoo

I have been using this with the matching shampoo and I love the shampoo but the conditioner not as much. The conditioner is thin and I prefer it to be thicker so I can feel it coating all my hairs. Since it is so thin I feel like I must use a lot of it to moisturise all my hair and I think it will definitely run out before the shampoo. It is hard to spread it through the hair. The smell is like the shampoo, normal shampoo/conditioner smell, it's nice. After my hair has dried with this conditioner my hair feels very soft but the curls in my hair are not so curly. Since I didn't really like this conditioner too much I tried the shampoo with a different conditioner and got worse results, so I guess even though it is thin it works! The price is reasonable and you get better results than some salon products, so I am happy with it.

Tips: Use with the matching shampoo, the shampoo is great!

Great value

I found this conditioner was a great match with its conditioner. My hair loved this product and I felt it really made a difference in the texture of my dry and damaged hair. Although the downside to this product is it's consistency as I found it quite thin which meant I felt I needed to use more product.

Tips: When using this conditioner I really worked it into my very dry hair.
